The constant need to watch crops and water everyday on top of having a social life and going in the mines makes it fuckin stressful. I get anxiety almost every time I start a new file

Just do one thing at a time. You can get through the mines in a winter when crops aren't a thing. And social life after watering crops is easy.

Don't do everything in one day.
Devote days to certain things after taking care of your farm chores. Spend one day in town socializing. Spend another day fishing. Spend another day in the mines.

Was that before or after that patch where grandpa got nerfed? Trying to beat the game in two years was pretty stressful before, but afterwards you could take it as easy as you wanted.

I wish the dev would EITHER relax his requirements or let you summon him again. Going from both to neither was so stupid.

When does Stardew Vally stop being so boring?

You can summon him again. Bring a diamond to his shrine and he will grade you again.

Man by the end of the first spring you can make sprinklers and only ever have to worry about harvesting, there's no time limit and there's way more time in the day than there is energy so socialization is super easy.

I know, I was talking about how he both demanded much more than he does now, and you only had one shot at getting a perfect rating. It went from stressfully difficult to irrelevant.

That farm layout pisses me off. The way you fenced it in makes it seem like you've given up expanding your farm.

Why is there a time limit everyday. Stamina only would have been fine. But TIME LIMIT? It's literally a mechanic that is the polar opposite of what the game is trying to do.
I'm mad because I would have loved the fuck out of this game otherwise.
