What the fuck happened? Everyone was madly excited for mario and Zelda, Wii u ports and indie games for the first year and now mario is out there's fuck all? No one give a fuck about Kirby games, smash isn't gonna show up until November and will be a disappointment regardless, there's no new Luigi game, no new mario party, no new animal crossing, new metroid won't be out till at least 2019, etc etc.
Anyone else regret buying this waste of space?

Smash, Pokemon and FE are confirmed 2018 releases. SMT V only started development recently so 2018 isn't happening. Animal Crossing is unconfirmed but I imagine it'll be coming at some point.

Smash has a tournament at E3 implying a Holiday 2018 release, Pokemon's been a yearly release save for 2015 and they've already confirmed they've been working on the Switch game, AC from the phone game, and I don't know about SMT. Fire Emblem was confirmed as "2018" I think.

I'll love all the brainlet tears come the end of this year. They specifically said the release date as 2018 "or beyond". They intentionally gave a non-answer with the illusion of a timeframe because they aren't confident in giving anything concrete. And given how much time Gamefreak likes to have to hype up a new gen, each day we get with no information makes it less and less likely to be this year. Basically we know nothing other than it's being made. A 2018 release is possible, but is in no way confirmed.
It teally sucks ass for now.
Only good games this year for now are FURI and Darkest Dungeon. And I am sick of those already.
Good thing I have not played Tropical Dong yet - May will be fine. Maybe I'll get Dork Sols too since there would be nothing better in months.

Next game on my radar is Hyrule Warriors and that’s out in May.
It’s not that switch doesn’t have games, it’s just that the games seem to be released in clusters so just as there are times where I play Switch non stop, and months where I don’t even touch it.

I guarantee you that they are working on the next mainline Zelda and Mario game right fucking now and the pressure is on since BOTW is the OTT of this generation and Odyssey is the Mario 64 of this generation.
The only game I liked was Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
