Disregarding the story, and the different tone compared to the other games, the enemies are damage sponges buy that's about the only negative. I had the most fun with it out of the HD trilogy just because it was mindless hack and slash.

Played it out of curiosity before 3 and I think it made me appreciate 3 a lot more than if I never did.
It's just such a piece of shit on so many levels. I guess the music is good and the voice acting, especially for Arius, aka a rip off of Tekken's Heihachi, is so goofy that it becomes endearing. That's about it.
