Cleanprince made a video about this recently. Pretty much the others don't put effort into singleplayer IPs anymore because you can't load them with microtransactions and even if you do, they won't rake in nearly as much cash as multiplayer games with microtransactions (a la loot box).

Singleplayer games are fine but it's literally all Sony does and they only have like 3 of them at best a year.
Not worth owning a console you'll only turn on 3 times a year to "play" a 10 hour long cinematic experience.
