I was having so much fun but feel like I rushed the main quest. Did the siege on the bandit camp with the bossfight and realized I'm still fucking terrible

I can't fight I have literally nothing in terms of armor/weaponry I feel like I fucked up bigtime. Is it supposed to be like this? I feel like I'm too far into it to be this weak and useless.

I just finished the bit where you have to interrogate the captive guy in the town with plague. I have 1.4k gold no idea how to get good gear....

There's a mod that fixes that bug that won't let you save anywhere you want.

How are they doing with patching it? Is it reasonably optimized and less buggy or still a shitfest? I want to play it, but there's no point paying full price now if it's going to be better and cheaper later.

So this is probably what they were thinking when they made the combat. Duels, even ground. But then they just dropped a bunch of enemies on uneven forest terrain and hoped for the best.

The uneven ground actually helps when you're doing 1v2+. If they fix the stupid AI it might make fighting on foot with a sword against more than two enemies at once actually impossible which would make every TESfag cry harder.
