>that song
Shit that game was legendary but/v/ is literally too underage to know what Twisted metal is
Holy fuck PLOK Ive been trying to remember this fucking game for 18 years no fucking way, this gives me hope. I need an emulator for this game
I've never played Twisted Metal 4 and even I know what song it was before opening it. Was that the only good thing about the game?
Glad i could help user, i fuckin love plok.
That game was amazing dude. Shitnid argue that was the original Battle Royal. But Rob Zombie was in it too so that was cool for the time
Motherfucker, I remember practically busting a nut when I finally beat the first game w/ Mr. Grimm. Yeah, Darkside was my fave, but that was normal mode. Specter was easy mode. But Grim, that shit was hardcore mode.
>he never got to play as a literal Clown shooting laughing heads that blow up on impact when hitting ford mustangs
You really fucked up somewhere in life
That game was cool though, customizable cars.
That one fast car with terrible defense.
Do you think they will ever bring back this series? I hate modern Sony but I'd get a ps4 for Twisted Metal day 1
yes it was, the game continued the trend that 3 did with fucking up the physics of 2 even more. the only good parts of this game are rob zombie and this song
Whatever happened to 989 studios devs? Also youtube.com
the studio itself is owned by sony, but i looked up the producer for tm4 and this was the only thing he worked on after tm4
Played the shit out of the demo as a kid
This is like the first time someone didn't post Shudder
Holy shit that game was rough. Honestly a battle royal twisted metal would be cool. Besides twisted metal was the original battle royal. Sony started the genre. Player Unknown has fuck all to work with. Brenden Green is a moron
youtube.com
Honestly, I hope not.
Can you imagine what the SJW crowd would do to that franchise?
Under the current PC filter, the people who created TM: Black would have been fired and publicly humiliated for even suggesting it.
Although, having a trans character in it would definitely fit with the mental illness theme they established in TM: Black...
Agreed. This game and the first ape escape are my favorite OST's of all time
Pic related was unironically the best twisted metal anyone who disagrees is a contrarian faggot
That game fucked me up. I used to want Legend of Dragoon remade but im scared they would try to normify it. youtube.com
Please give this a chance, it is a great chiptune, it is from Tintin on the Moon for the C64.
youtu.be
>Twisted Metal 4
>when 2 was already the best
lol ok
Yeah man twisted metal is so obscure.
Anyway here's the Mario theme
L.A. Meltdown.
What's next you are going to tell me everyone played Ace Combat? Get fucking real that game will give you deer in the headlights looks if you even mention it to any of the nu-Sup Forums users. youtube.com
>dat jazz+8 bit shit
The fuck is this from? This sounds kino
youtube.com
Motherfucking Pictionary.
Seeing those keyboard track things convinces me that making music is so easy, and then i open up a music program and i am just like "yeaa...yea no."
Rocket Knight is so underrated, best scroller of the Genesis. But gets no credit.
youtube.com
i did actually play this for like ten minutes but i thought it was shit (what a shame)
soundtrack is good though youtu.be
This shit brings tears to my eyes. This song was to good for us mortals. I used to play this game at my friends when he had a farm. Was the highlight of my day playing this game
youtube.com
This sounds washed out and monotone compared to rocket knight. I would get you and leave you to die if you were here right now.
The music is so dimensional in RN, if you ever fired the game up you'd know.
1st level youtube.com
>tfw first level's music is a remix of L.A. Meltdown from TM2
Also youtube.com
>no one played Twisted Metal 4
This on Dreamcast was the shit. I want to bring back the Vehicle deathmatch days... Maybe some sort of Vehicular Battle Royal is what we need.
youtu.be
Turn down the music you friggin' bassheads
Twisted Metal kinda was the original Battle Royal if you think about it, honestly it has potential to be really popular.
Do it baby do it baby. Tm 2,4 and black were goat. Never played any after black. Orbital was the shit in 4. Freeze em and use the mega weapon secret attack.
Such feels.
youtube.com
Should we actually care about games nobody has played? Honestly think about it Sup Forums.
All of it.
>This game both ruined my childhood and preserved it
I have Sega to thank for making some of the best memories I ever had because of this gem. So many hours dumped in. I remember the sleepovers and late nights playing 4 player with our memory cards playing this until 2am with the lights off drinking soda. It's not fair bros.
Instead of admitting you are an underage faggot who grew up playing Halo Reach at 11 years old you should never come here again
If Hatred came out in 1997 I think it would have been extremely popular and sold a ton of copies. Rob Zombie music being featured in hatred as he moes people down would have been top tier quality.
The series always had great music. Its a damn shame the ps3 game put the final nail in the coffin.
>games that no ones played
>posts twisted metal
wat.
shit was one of the most popular games on the PSX.
I played every Ace Combat game and every twisted metal game and I was casual when I was twelve.
Next youll tell me you were the only one to play sunshine or Crazy taxi or some stupid shit.
Are you people kidding? Twisted Metal 4 was arguably the least popular in the entire series. The only thing that saved that series from completely dying back then was the quick release of Small Brawl after it came out to try to salvage it. Man Warcraft 2 must have sure been popular too right? Im sure so many Sup Forums users played RTS youtube.com
Least popular doesnt mean youre the only one who played it. Yes it was pretty shit compared to 2 or even 3 but the characters were prettty fun and I liked the maps.
>small Brawl
>not Black
I also hated small brawl more than 4.
So youre the only one who played Halo Wars or something?
>play ace combat
>thinks he was a casual
user I hate to be the one to bring you the news, you are a turboautist. It's ok, it is what lead us to start posting here to begin with. You need to learn to accept this side of you now.
To be fair if you were playing video games in 1999 you werent casual. But yes I like map painting simulators and dorfs now.
What are you going to start posting music from battleborn? That game has all of 4 players. Find me a game then that has good music from a game noone ever gave a fuck about
holy shit
for a game that was put into a pre-alpha and called finished, it has pretty fucking good music.
>not A More Violent Approach
get a load of this guy
youtube.com
uh, TM 4 sucked, but everyone played it.
i like this game more than gunstar heroes
he writes the songs, he writes the songs
youtube.com
I've got half a mind to waste you, punk!
Was there a time Blizzard wasn't popular? youtube.com
taking the "contra" out of the title was a dumb marketing decision. i'd be down to buy this again if it was on steam.
i love this game, a pretty interesting change up to them all being kids. music is great and high energy.
youtu.be
nobody ever talks about this game, but it has a wonderful soundtrack composed by Jeremy Soule. really helps you feel like you're going on an incredible adventure.
>Twisted Metal 4 was arguably the least popular in the entire series.
Bull shit.
youtu.be
>plays every Ace Combat
>thinks he's Casual
Sorry user but you have Patrician taste
I still think Twisted Metal 4 had some of the best maps, even if the other parts were considerably worse.
the original soymouth
did you like neon city
Wrong. 3 was the worst. 4 was leagues better.
i just don't understand why'd they made sweet tooth the host of twisted metal did 989 wanted to capitalize on his popularity? at least we got to play as calypso
Here some of my favorites, I don't think these games are that obscure desu.
youtube.com
youtube.com
I try to forget twisted metal 3 ever happened to be honest
TM4 was fucking trash
PS3 TM was fun to me.
The OST for the original game was amazing as well.
The composer released all of the songs from the original in bandcamp even.
Wait are you trying to say Warcraft 2 sucked or was unpopular? I liked it...
Probably a WoW kid. Back then it was great, always liked both C&C a bit more though.
That's cool. I loved the music in this game.
Finally others appreciate this song
I remember throwing it on for the custom soundtrack for Twisted Metal (PS3)
>post thread with game music noone has played
>Unironically Sup Forums is so underage and full of newfags noone posts the greatest underrated game ever made
Behold for you will now be graced with one of the greatest RPG songs of all time from a game maybe all of 5 of you have played. youtube.com
Well the soundtrack was and create a car was neat, levels weren't bad either.
Everything else sucked
Bought the remake on Steam because of this song, I finished it on snes but Reloaded seems more difficult.
