I'm about to fill the rest of my 4TB HDD and just made a list of 50+ more TV shows to download every episode of.

Should I go with another 4TB drive? How are HGST's larger drives? I was worried about having five platters, I can't imagine getting a 6 or 8TB drive.

Originally I wanted to sit it out and wait for SSD become big enough but this will take too long. I also have massive amounts of excellent education courses from the teaching company (TTC).

Once space got tight I started to delete my C and B-class porn and only left the best of the best porn. But there is no bad porn left.

Why download lower grade porn to begin with? I can't fathom using that much of my storage for porn. I only download what I consider to be top quality.

Ok, maybe not all the time but I never save anything anymore. Mostly sadpanda and then purging my history and temp files afterwards.

When I start to like a girl or a site I rip the complete site or all of the girls scenes in the best quality available.
Then I sort it into A, B and C category and fap though it for a few weeks (of course not exclusively).

After some time I re-evalute the selection and then delete the B and C Folder.
What remains is only the best fappable stuff.

At some point I will probably create a 1TB Ultimate Elite Edition best of the best porn torrent. I already have the seedboxes but I haven't found the time yet to sort everything out.

I think most of it is duplicates and different resolutions. It's completely unsorted and just a file dump for a couple friends' bit torrent clients. If I sort it and remove dups I bet it drops to 500-600GB

It's because more people are adopting SSD tech and HDD tech is hitting a hard limit. While samshit already crammed 16TB of V-nand on a laptop 2.5" SSD, HDD manufacturers only managed 8TB for a big and bulky 3.5" HDD.

Looks like we're gonna have to say goodbye to HDD soon. 1TB SSD will soon be $100/piece and there will no longer be a reason to use HDDs.

Cleared out over 500gb of apace on my 2tb drive the other day, felt real good. It was mainly large HD rips of TV/films but they were ones I've watched and won't watch again.

I do hoard quite a lot of music but that's not as large and I have a huge collection of live recordings of shows which you just won't find again online. I also have a big drive for video editing files but thats my job so I have to keep it around for a while.
