granite/10 as always

Planning on upgrading this summer?

I will be upgrading to a GTX 1080 unless something drastic happens or it's stupid priced.

Yes, if i can collect the money. Having i5 4460 or 4690 if possible. Graphics card will have to wait. Integrated graphics in these are good anyways so ill live.

works on MY machine

It's a bit of a mess, but hey. It works.

I fucking love memes.

Not sure if bait, but you ruined that front panel. Send me money and ill send you granite slab!
Ghetto/10 but if it works then who gives a fuck
Got gpu temp issues or is psu sucking air out of it?
Memes are only thing we have left in this thread

>ruined a glorious pc
psh, i bet you're one of those typical linuxfags that don't even use their computers except to shitpost on reddit/4chins and post shitty screenshots of your desktop. i actually use my computer thank you very much :^)

>psh, i bet you're one of those typical linuxfags
Look at speccy in OP

>actual granite
Pffft hahahaha, faggot used contact paper for that garbage, nice try though.

Uhh, no that's real granite mate, you obviously dont come to guts often.

No.

...

GPU tends to sit between 70-80C under load, so it's not great, but at least it is stable enough to not shut down the system.

Wow my dude, looks like we might have same monitors. Samsung syncmaster 720n masterrace?

>you can roll over edges
good for you user.

Not him but you must be real stupid to not see the difference in real granite and reproduced one...

Gratz, you almost hit all the meme's just too bad there ain't a SSD.

Close but not quite. This is a Samsung SyncMaster 943. They're adorable things for sure though.

Here's to (you)

>tfw 10+years and no problems whatsoever
Loving that 'case' fan

Rearranging some shit

Whats in the box? Why not use the tower...

Probably HDDs.

Does anyone else Notice the framed Frozen Cast picture

There is another system filling the tower. That box rig was just something I put together impulsively as I had spare parts but no spare case.

Chopstick has been paint black
New picture this weekend

oh but there are ssd's

>Mfw just installed the new Battleborn Nvidia driver and it already crashed during installation
I want to stick that Chinese a 970 with woodscrews in his ass
30 minute to redownload the old driver I need to enjoy 4K scaling and lag without drivers in the meanwhile

Fermi?

Oh sweetness what do I see here
6 crabs with those lying on my belly

Probably your OC, I updated without problems on my 970.

...

do the 2 gpus make a difference? would you recommend any one to buy a 2 gpus?

Yes they do and it depends on what resolution you're playing at. I'm driving a 1440p @ 120hz monitor, so the second one is pretty much a requirement for the more demanding games. If you're just playing at 1080p @ 60hz, then one would be sufficient.

Turns my room into an oven though, so I'd recommend one of these to go with it.

Also note that it's always better to have one GOOD card compared to two mediocre ones. I got those because the 980 Ti's weren't even out yet, so they were the best I could get.

Happened even without OC, but its a heavily stock OC card that runs 1200 boost.
>970
This is not a Kepler card. I'm serious when I say they gimp them, last time I tried to update the drivers I only had 5 second blackscreens and random driver crashes on desktop.

On the old 359 driver I can run 1300 MHz @1.2V without problems. Even Battleborn, I get the usual framedrops but they seem common to anyone I talked to.

>1200 boost

Thats not impressive at all, in fact that is way too lower than what comes with any aftermarket card.

Mine boost to 1405 out of the box and cat hit 1519mhz at stock 1.212v

You've got a bad chip and most companies would accept a RMA for that.

I like these/10

ah, the first real guts in the thread.

bravo, user.

Look at me!
