Works from a browser so I can use it wherever I am. Gets the job done in general. I only talk regularly with one person over Internet and paying for teamspeak servers was a bit of a bitch for this use case.

There is currently no "standalone" linux version. It's not a big deal since other platforms basically get webpage packaged with electron. Since I'm not a big fan of running separate chromium for discord/slack/whatever, I just use it from my main browser. It works well on Linux, never got any major problems. The biggest issue you may get is lack of push to talk when you open it as a webpage. As far as I know this is the only feature that using standalone has over webpage and it's missing on linux for now.

tl;dr the business model isn't sustainable and will probably just be abandoned about the CEO cashes out or something.
The video was presented as some kind of argument about why the platform or technology is unsuitable, but he only mumbled for a couple minutes about potential privacy and server crashes.
