I'll buy the iPhone 6s if someone does not give me a better phone

Sony Xperia lt26i
>The touch home;back and list "Buttons" react preddy slow
>the little plastic covers for the HDMI in and USB in Fall off in no time
>you cant exchange the battery without screwing of the back
>no SD - card slot
I still love my phone since I bought it cheap and it just Werks.

Go ahead. It's a great phone, a bit pricey though.

How is the G5? Anyone grab it? I just bought a G3 second hand and love it

S7 or HTC 10. But probably a faggot like you can't appreciate hardware and wants Fisher price OS so go for the 6s.

...

Should I buy a OnePlus X or a Redmi Note 3 Pro? Also open to suggestions
>moto Sup Forums first gen master race reporting in

can anyone suggest a good flip case for a z5 compact, preferably one that covers the edges but doesn't obscure the buttons?

Everyone meme on them, not hate them. No one's gonna stop you from buying one anyway. I don't see a problem here desu.

Is it true that the redmi 3 pro has worse battery life than the normal redmi 3? If so, how much. I'm torn between the two models.

Redmi r shite

mi4c

Good software library > hardware. If you wanted hardware, Windows Phone is the way to go.

RN3P is way better. OPX is OP1 specs and old af.

Huh? how does that makes sense? the Pro is better with an extra gig of RAM.

HTC One M7 nugga. Camera is absolutely diabolical but everything else is completely fine.

Maybe he means the fingerprint being on all the time? In any case, I haven't heard of it being detrimental to battery life.

How? Because the pro has fingerprint scanner which I don't care about, but I do care about that extra gig of ram.

I just saw a guy on a review saying the battery was worse but maybe he got a defective battery.

hi just ordered a redmi note 3 pro from gearbest
what method is best to use to unlock bootloader and what rom to flash?
thanks

Dunno since the battery isn't as big as the rememes 3. I don't care much about intensive gaming, but it'd be important for it to have a good battery so I can watch movies, browse the Internet and play some games from time to time. Plus the mi4c is more expensive.

Right, I assume the extra gig of RAM, 32GB and fingerprint scanner might consume a little bit more electricity but I don't think it will have a very meaningful effect on battery life. I think you can also turn the fingerprint reader off.

>what method is best to use to unlock bootloader
You don't have much choice here, you need to ask Xiaomi to give you an unlocking code.

Which last year's flagship is best

I don't have an upgrade until next year and I don't want to use this windows phone any longer, I hate it

Was thinking g4 since they're so fucking cheap for some reason

>for some reason
Bootloop.

G4 ain't bad. People bitch about a boot loop though.

I'd get a Nexus 6p tbqh senpai. Galaxy s6 is good, but battery sucks.

Not an applewhore but have you ever used a Samsung? The ui looks like a child's toy and causes latency and battery issues with android

What's wrong with the windows?

What is "bootloop" and when does it happen? Randomly?

Does the V10 have that problem?

Strangely enough, not a single pajeet talks about G4 bootloop issues on GSMArena. Planning to buy G4 myself - low price, great specs.

The Lumia icon was nice in 2014. But now the OS is abandoned and there are literally NO apps for anything. Even the 4chins apps aren't supported anymore

Plus the battery is getting worse

That's why I recommended the 10 too. Touchjizz got better with the s7 my brother has it and is satisfied.

Bootloop - as far as I know, the neverending cycle of boot-up (power up/start).

Hardware issue that will brick your phone 100%, only question is when.

androidauthority.com/lg-admits-g4-bootloop-problem-hardware-fault-669603/

it is already rooted and has busybox installed
unless the bootloader is something else alltogather

It's a good phone, the materials, design and the os are all great. It definitely is much more limiting than Android though, but man you almost never have to mess with it or force close anything or reset it, and that's a good feature in my book since I don't wanna be worrying about anything while I'm taking a shit.

>Planning to buy G4 myself - low price, great specs.

>memebuttons on the back
Dropped.

shieeeeeet

does the v10 have this problem?

what is with LG not being able to make a phone without a giant flaw

G2's screen would stop working after a year
G3 overheated
G4 bootloop
G5 probably has some giant flaw too

>does the v10 have this problem?
No, it's supposedly fixed. then again, paying ~$500 for an SD808 phone is quite lame.

But it's so cheap

Last year's flagship for only 200 bones

G4's bootloop is fixed, calm down. If you'll look only on flaws you won't buy a single damn phone, because each one has it's issues.
>HTC overheats and generally overpriced.
>Samsung has RAM management problems and lags with its Touchwizz.
>Sony is fragile with average-tier camera and some overheating issues.
>LG battery draining with QHD screen.
>Apple too expensive and low battery capacity.
>Huawei's EmotionUI is shit and lags.

>500
It's like 250 on eBay and swappa

Fuck it I think I'm just gonna get a g4 and hope i didn't get one that was manufactured in september

>the first fucking post

do you iShills ever rest?

It is absolutely not a problem considering how powerful and cheap this device is. Can't complain. I don't like 5.5" phablet-type display size either, but hey, I have no choice and again - it's cheap. I don't like QHD screen resolution that just sucks battery power like a vampire.

Sup Forums2 owner here

back buttons are extremely comfy to be quite honest with you family member

My gf needs a new phone.
Not so expensive so I'm picking Xperia Z3+ for her.
Any personal experience with that model?

I've had a g2 for 3 years now. Not a single issue.

I'm not a fan of the 2K screen meme either

Why can't people just make a 5 inch or less phone with a 1080p screen and a 3000 or greater mAh battery

no instead we get these placebo screens that fucking rape and pillage your battery life

>Why can't people just make a 5 inch or less phone with a 1080p screen and a 3000 or greater mAh battery

They exist if your'e willing to go the way of the chinkphones.

Well, they try avoiding "the sweet spot" i.e. making average phone with 5-5.2" screen paired with 1080p screen, 2/3GB RAM, 16/32GB internal + SD, good battery and etc. So either people buy flagship with price around 600-700 euros or some crap for 200 euros. I see lots and lots of new and olders models and yet I struggle to pick the one that fits my needs the best. Something is always a con.

old flagships have this

HTC overheats? Any sources on that? You are talking about the m9 not the 10 right?

Not the >3000 mAh battery

Z3 has this

As far as I remember it was to do with older models. But generally, metal back will hold the heat in itself, so yeah, may occur some little overheating. Have no info on M10, since I wasn't even planning to buy it, so haven't look for reviews or feedback.

I've had mine less than 24h so this isn't much indication, but the only time it felt hot was when charging, and when i was installing stuff it was warm on the back like someone else's hand or something. Not uncomfortable, didn't make my hand sweat.

Sony Xperia Z3
>First phone I've used with Soft home, back, menu buttons and I am surprised at how much I'm okay with them
>Pretty pleasant to use
>Fragile

Though, unfortunately I just dropped it and smashed the touch screen because i'm an idiot.

What phone should I get to replace it Sup Forums?

Amazon Fire Phone

Pros
>Basically paid 30 dollars for it
>Snapdragon 800 is perfectly decent
>CM11 is actually more stable on it than on my old Z1C

Cons
>Stuck on 4.4 with little hope of a real update ever
>No mSD
>No MHL
>Most apps can't access the camera

I feel you, m8. Ordered an iPhone yesterday for the same reason. It's the last OS I haven't tried. The camera on the Lumia 1020 is pretty great for landscape pictures, but everything else in that phone, including non-landscape pictures, is downright awful nowadays. Half of the M$ apps it had preinstalled a year ago don't even work anymore.

z5

Out of all the flahships this year I keep thinking the HTC 10 is the best one. It's android is nearly stock, it's not built out of recycled plastic like the G5 and fuck touchwiz.

Anyone have it? The capactive buttons look annoying and I haven't heard anything on screen latency or battery life.

true. it's tempting.

are the current nexus phones anygood? anyone?

And if you want hardware and software, Android.

From what I hear, the general quality of the apps for the iOS is still higher than that for Android. Needless to say, the more unusual apps don't/can't exist for it.

It depends. Social media apps like snapchat, instashit work better on ios. Everything else works fine on android.

One thing I am not very happy about is that iOS does not support custom quiet hours set by the calendar. Actually, I'm quite surprised it doesn't, considering that it's the kind of feature anyone with a job would find very useful.

Lolno. Z5 in some aspects is a downgrade from the Z3.

Get Z5 if you like Sony and want fingerprint sensor.

it's happening boys, what should it be?

yes they are good

>not doing prepaid
>not buying your own unlocked device
>sucking the corporate cock

Why is the G4 so cheap ($299 new on Amazon; bootloop issue should be fixed on new phones) while the Xperia Z5 is also last year's phone yet its price hasn't budged since February???

I'm fucking dyyyyyying for a price drop!

Yeah. I think the 6p suffers from over heating though and it's also absurdly large. Google will hopefully be announcing the new Nexus later this month though

How so?? Because of the 810? There's like a 2 year gap between the two

to conclude the suspenseful story

I chose a galaxy s7

Don't dream about Z5 that much, user. You'll lose a feel of satisfaction when you eventually get it.

Anyone had problems with the LG G3? I want to buy it right now, but some reviews and complaints are making me nervous. There's a lot whining about this phone on the internet, so that concerns me.
I'm switching from Nexus 4 and don't want my new phone acting wonky.

you can get a new g4 for $200 on ebay

simply kek

>replacing your 4 year old phone with a 2 year old phone
If you can't afford a current flagship, get last year flagship at the minimum or a chinkshit.

So, I have this phone I found from a while back, since I can't use it as my own, what should I do with it? Can I put ubuntu on it and use it as a mini pc for my tv?

>tfw I have a Xperia Z
>tfw I don't trust chinkphones no matter how much I see them shilled everywhere
>tfw too poor to afford a new flagship
>tfw Sony won't release the X series soon
>tfw the X Performance will be way too expensive

I hope the Xperia X will be worth buying.

I can afford it, but I don't want to spend money on things I won't use. I bought my Nexus 4 on the release date only because it had good price/value ratio, newest phones offer specs I won't ever need.

I need replacement because my current phone can't handle Full HD videos.

>Nexus 5X

Pros: fingerprint unlock, Comfy size, opens captive portals for wifi instantly, charges really fast when plugged into outlet, + everything else modern Android phones have

Cons: takes forever to turn on (like 3-4 minutes), phone comes with USB-C to USB-C only, had to buy my own cable from best buy to plug into PC to put music on, can't really think of any other cons

I upgraded from a note 3 on Sprint to this phone on project fi, I love this phone.

>So, I have this phone I found from a while back, since I can't use it as my own, what should I do with it?
Give it back Dashonte.

Seriously though, what should I do with it? It's a waste to just trash it.

What's the best case for s7 edge?

LG G4 or Honor 7 Premium?
The Premium is just a regular Honor 7 with 32 GB of internal memory with a fast charger included.

N5X?

Yes, it's on my list, but I think I'll wait for it's price to drop (so probably in about 4 months when the new Nexus phone will arrive).
Or I'll just buy the G3 right now.

>buy new LG G5 for 500 bongs
>have it one day
>kid spills whole cup of coffee right on top of it
>starts beeping madly saying USB devices connected
>shout obscenities at kid
>power off, take bottom part off flush with alcohol then blast with hair dryer
>dry off the main part of the phone
>it all works perfectly

Fucking hell that was a bad time. I'm so glad the USB part just pops off or it would probably have been a massive job to clean out.

I used a G3 for about 18 months and was very happy with it. Only switched because the screen started to yellow on the right side probably because it was on at high brightness for 5-7 hours every day.

No bootloops and problems with wifi connection?

>look at LG G5 in person
>doesn't look that bad

How can I see battery percentage instead of a bar, honor 7 without root

No problems at all. Used mainly stock based ROMs.

Honestly the only real problem with the G5 right now is there's no tempered glass protectors that actually fit it properly yet.
I fucking hate having to resort to shitty pet film.

I guess it's hit and miss then, D855 (yuropean) version is the most prone to failure it seems.

Specs and price for the x is released. 500€ for a snapdragon 650 and 3gb ram. It's a highly overpriced midrange phone.

Still there? How does the battery hold up?

These days you shouldn't even need screen covers, we should just be able to feel our phone.

Ordered a HTC 10 64GB version, how did i do?

There's no other option than en.miui.com/unlock
