The release was a mess. As far as I'm informed there's only one module avaible in the US. The battery is a bit small for a screen with above 500ppi and a sd820, but it has expandable storage and a swappable battery. Its the cheapest sd820 smartphone currently available.

Blackberry is full of backdoors. Don't lie to yourself. If you're really concerned about privacy, the closest you can get is prepaid SIMs on dumb-phones. That being said, unencrypted messaging can be intercepted and purchases are traceable, so if you're in it just for "muh privacy" then knock yourself out but if there is an actual need for this, you need a game plan that goes much further than phone recommendations on /spg/. Otherwise pick up a $0 Apple iPhone 5S on select plans on a 2 year term from your service provider of choice.
