There's a HUGE demand for a Logitech G9x mouse. It's reselling for a fortune on Ebay.
Make some coin off of it now before some other mouse is all the rage.

I'd sell mine, but there's no good replacement out there. G502 is the closest, but it's too heavy, and it's shit for fingertip grip.
why is there such demand for this dumb meme mouse?
89g weight, tilt wheel, selectable free rolling or click wheel, 5700 DPI, 58×108×35 size, no software required. It's unmatched in features, and it's high quality to boot.
so retarded gaymurs then got it
It's good for everything except for FPS.
Shit though there was even a pro Quake 3 player that used one though.
I used to use the g9x, there is acceleration built into the sensor. In other words, it's shit. I replaced it with a Steelseries Rival which is a much better mouse.
>hundreds of dollars for a mouse
>mouse isn't even good for the one thing that might justify spending a decent amount of money on a mouse
That's because Logitech's new mouses are all crap. Since they changed their logo, they've been making cheap chink shit instead of good quality gaming mouses.
People want their old shit that was good, not their new line of crap mouses.
This mouse was comfy af. I was too shitty at games back then to tell the difference.
Currently frustrated as a lot of the mice that are supposedly excellent are also pretty big.
meh. I just tested, and it's not really noticeable. I get approx 15% acceleration if I move it as quickly as I can at the 5700 DPI setting.
some acceration doesn't hurt at all. the perfect tracking meme is stupid, most people probably don't even notice. that being said I fell for multiple of those meme 3090/3310/3388 sensor mice.
>ss rival
eh it's too big and heavy. plus no tilt wheel.
Ex-G9 fan here again. Acceleration really irritates me. I switched from the G502 to the G600 as the G502's grip wore away making the ergonomics shitty. The G600 has better buttons too but I miss the scroll wheel and ability to assign left/right mouse tilt to volume up/down.
Anyhow while the "perfect" sensors are overrated, a lot of old faves were quite flawed. We have a lot more choice these days.
If I were to insist upon getting something similar, I'd go for the CM Storm Spawn.
If it's in such high demand why don't they produce more of it?
Haha got this mouse for free
Mouse makers are dumb as fuck, in general.
totally not obvious you're marketing for this product or anything.
Are you 12? It's an EOL product. There's literally 0 money in marketing it unless you happen to own one. Even then, chances are you want to keep it anyway.
Yeah I have the CM Storm Xornet and it's my second favorite behind the G9x. The finger-rest thing does annoy me though.
>bite
>search g9x on ebay
Plenty for under $70 US
What's it like for lifting the mouse compared to the G9x?
These old meme mice should be worthless, but I suppose that's why they are called memes. To the dumbasses who buy this old shit: there is nothing better than what Logitech currently puts out in the year of our Lord, 2016. Enjoy being handicapped playing against me with my g303 (not that you'd have a chance with one yourself).
Well I use the G9x gripless, so the Xornet is wider and the finger-rest thing makes it a little harder to ilft. It's not bad though, overall. And for $25 or whatever, it's hard to go wrong.
What about the Logitech G303? Comfy, ambidextrous, and good for claw/fingertip hold. Fantastic sensor.
It seems good overall, but it has no tilt wheel and is there any way to turn off the stupid light under Linux?
Hmm. Not sure about in Linux.
I have my light set to a dim red to match my sidewinder keyboard which also makes it a little easier to use at night.
yep it's a meme
I believe you can configure it in a Windows VM and the settings are saved to the mouse, itself. If that's the case, you can turn the light to whatever correct you want, static, pulse, or completely off.
Alternatively, I've never used it, but it is supported by libratbag
github.com
No thanks, I'd rather use my G9 and G9x for the next decade at least.
Unless you own one shut the fuck up
It is not a 10/10 mouse but it is still one of the best
Ive been wanting one for months...
Fuck it, ill give whoever of you 400 bucks for it if its in good shape and you are in CA
>laser
plebs
>tfw have it sitting in the closet
I like the G502 better desu
I replaced my G500 with a CM Storm Recon a few years back, the software is a step back but the sensor and accuracy is a huge improvement. Really love the CM mice, great value.
I have one and thought even for it's retail price when it was still being sold new it was way overpriced.
I don't know why you're saying it's 89g it's much more than that. I'd even call it heavy. Mind you I used it with no grip and no tray. Also the sensor is crap. The grips aren't snug enough, there was some give on my one, although eventually I just stopped using the grips.
I'd be happy to sell mine for $350 though.
You sir, you are right.
I have the one with modern warfare 3 covers
It was cheap
Used it for two days before my fingers started to hurt
damn o.o
i'm very tempted to sell mine.
gimme $400 and I'll ship it o.o
362.94 $ for a fucking plastic mouse.
Meanwhile people dying for starvation in Africa, South America and Asia. Fuck people.
whatonearthishappening.com
there are plenty of resources on this planet. people don't have to go hungry, go without a home.
you know how i resolved the problem of that teeny bit of shimmy between the grip and the mouse itself?
mine has NO give.
just lay some folded 2-ply toilet paper skillfully between them. xD
Hello Sergei
have mine g9 since 2009 hoping it to last till i die
They are listed expensive, no one buys them at that price. Dumb dumb
Then go there in said countries and do something about! Change the world yourself. Then complain.
I have a G300s and while it is quite light I like it. I don't if the sensor is top notch but it works jsut fine for $30.
>$400
>fortune
haha oh wow
weighed it myself. gripless, no tray, and I removed the tray mount inside which maybe saved me 5-10g.
