Throw it in the trash
...
This is the tech board. This is a tech question.
Disassemble it. Further disassemble all moving parts, until you are left with only solid-state circuit boards. Photograph them and inspect for corrosion. Discharge capacitors, remove any batteries. Ideally isolate the PSU if this is possible with the PS4.
Wash thoroughly with water and liquid detergent. Be sure not to unseat or otherwise damage components when scrubbing. Rinse very thoroughly, with distilled water.
If contaminants remain, apply high purity isopropyl alcohol to the area. Allow to dry in a warm place for a very long time.
If traces are corroded, you may be able to repair them in a reasonably straightforward way with solder. If components are visibly damaged/scorched, replace them.
Reassemble and test. If the spill occurred with the device powered on, it's a long shot- very likely, many components were actually fried. If it was off, you have a decent shot.
Good luck!

Fill a bag with rice, put ps4 in it, seal the bag. Hope for the best and do not power it on for 48 hours.
No, this is a customer support question.
Just get a Steam Box
what's the matter?
don't you know how to do it ?
You didn't even say what is wrong with it lol
>it broken
cheers senpai
More like:
> Fill bag with rice
> Place broken tech in bag
> Rice will attract Asians who will fix your broken tech
Was going good until you said to wash with water. Dont do that OP, use Alcohol only.
No
Nonsense. OP needs to get rid of the residue and other contaminants from the coffee. Swabbing it with some alcohol isn't going to achieve that. An aggressive detergent needs to be applied, agitated, and rinsed- i.e, with soap and water.
It is of course necessary that a) Any contaminants in the water itself are removed, by rinsing with distilled and b) it is thoroughly dried before being powered on.
Isopropanol should be applied afterwards, to localised areas.

Oh fuck off, it's at least a more interesting question than the hundreds of "what should I change in my shitty buildapc list" or "which phone should I buy" threads.
We got a kikebook user here guys.
Buy xbox
>no information on the board
>no pics of the board
>no information of what is/might be broken
>help me guise pl0x
Considering how you didn't even give anyone any info on the board you probably are a tech illiterate Sup Forumsedditor who expects us to do "techy magic shiz" to magically fix your console. This is a meager tech support thread at best. Fuck off.
LMAO
You arent supposed to clean electronics with water you nitwit.
Alcohol is enough, trust me. Whatever let OP do what he wants, if he uses your method the console is dead forever.
Water oxidizes or otherwise alter and destroy metal connections. Your an asshole.
>nigga went full sperg
That's not me. I don't have the tools to open it, so ded thread :)
Open it up, identify problem, fix if possible or throw away.
How mindless are you OP?
>samefagging this hard
>it wan't me guise xD
Pathetic
wat
Alchohal erodes the pcb.
>tfw delray fitness closed down
Eat my ballsack you lardy cunt-eyed cock thistle
how the fuck do you spill coffee on a playstation?
Cleaning them with water, especially purified water is fine, you 'tard. 1. Pure water isn't conductive. 2. It won't matter if you use conductive tap water if you remove all power first, and let it dry completely before turning it back on. 3. Metal doesn't instantly rust.
Now, fuck off..
If it was on when the spill happened you're like 99.999999999999...9% fucked.
Enjoy your ban
Ok sir whatever you say
>mfw my friend gave me his ps4 because the disc drive would occasionally fuck up
>mfw all it needed was a quick cleaning
>mfw i've played Last of Us and >100 hours of Fallout 4
Lucky. I wish my friend would give me a console lmao, anyways I had an Xbox One and PS4, but I sold both of them. The consoles suck dick.
Reported.
How the fuck did you spill coffee on it you fucktard?
soak affected parts in alcohol
Any fixes for the xbone black screen yet?
