Hey Sup Forums
i'm picking this bad boy up tomorrow morning for 590$ CAD since price drops with the pascal release
Gonna pair this up with my evga card and SLI it.
that's 452$ USD
Got my EVGA card for 900$ CAD when it was still relevant
Did I do good?
Hey Sup Forums
No, you could have gotten a 1080 for a very similar price, what the fuck were you thinking user?
You can't SLI those you retard
>1080
>similar price
?????????????????
Even if i could, sli 980ti would give better performance
1080 is going to be at least $1000 CAD bro.
Why would you lie to me user
>pic related
>official geforce website
On a related note, for overclocking would you guys recommend to match the stock clocks on afterburner and then go fresh from there?
For example bring up the clocks of the lower card to match the factory clock on the second card and then standard OC procedure?
no. i've seen this shit go for $450 on kijiji lately. multiple times too
>No HEVC Main12/Main10/Main hardware decoding
>No VP9 hardware decoding
GTX 1080 is better
>Founder cards are $650 and up for most retailers
>Micro Center sells theirs for $700
>These are shitty reference models
>Expecting non-reference cards to be any cheaper than $650
Good for you, OP, I bought an MSI Golden Edition the other day. Frankly I don't feel like waiting half a year for decent cards to be readily available either.
no you haven't. I've seen plenty of ads on there ASKING for 500$ and it's up there for a while
No retard would put these up for an asking price of 450
i'm sorry I don't know how these would benefit me very much
Thank you friend :) and good for you! enjoy your games and or whatever else you do
How long until the 980ti is way worse than the 1070?
Not for long goy.
How was 970 vs 780ti on release?
Or is that an unfair comparison
how much should I pay for a 2nd hand MSI GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6G?
>how much should I pay for a second hand GPU
You should be very fuckin' careful.
Nowadays we have retards up to their neck trying to mine bitcoins with GPUs. You have no clue how much stress might have been put on that card.
It's unlikely that someone would have used a 980Ti for mining (They would opt for the 390x for raw compute/price ratio), but that doesn't mean there isn't someone stupid enough to do it.
780 Ti was a good 10% faster than the 970 at 1440p at release
it still has a year and a half of warranty left.
and now?
>and now?
about even, 970 edges it out by 1% in the TPU average
You're right about x265 but VP9?
The fuck would you need that for?
4k120fps .webms?
