It is a good concept, but the materials are designed to have low life expectancy.

i.e. fancy chickshit

...

At this point applel probably holds a record for the worst devices made in history.

That's not true.

What? That's pathetic.

Why would a facebook machine need more than that?

>works as a wallwart or can have a cord plugged in where the wall plug goes
>has foldout clips for cable management
>magsafe
Nah, it's good

The connector is god tier, but the rest is trash

That's for the 13" MacBook Pros with ULV processors.

The only mouse in that photo that I see any reason to consider bad is the shit one in the middle

For

It's dead, fampai

New rMBP only has USB-C

Great idea, I didn't have a Macbook long enough to have any issues with it.

Big problem with modern Apple is they can't come up with ideas like that anymore. Now it seems like they just browse Mac Rumors and throw on whatever features everyone is speculating the next phone will have.

My facebook machine uses a 10w adapter.

Is there anything less efficient than a macbook?

'muh rumors'

They didn't actually come up with it, they just patented it in America.
Ok go away now.

cdn.macrumors.com/article-new/2016/05/retinamacbooksides.jpg

Not rumors, it's pretty much dead

There's only USB-C now, Magsafe is kill

those white cables apple makes are absolute trash

I will admit I have only owned one iPod Touch and a few pairs of earbuds as far as Apple stuff goes, but the end fray and yellow from normal use.. very strange and upsetting

>tfw my facebook machine doesn't use a shit charger and has more than one port

underrated post

>literally rumors in the URL

Not true, none of the pros use ULV. Airs do

This.

The Pros just throttle and run like Airs when you do extreme stress tests like watching Youtube.

That hockey puck mouse was god awful but at least it didn't charge from a lightning cable on it's underside.

I never got the issue with the hockey puck

Yea, LV, not ULV, my bad.

Maybe because you used it in Elementary school. My hand started to hurt after a while of using it because they threw ergonomics out of the window.

First time using it was as an adult

Design a better one you no nameless, faceless faggot

just knowing which way was up was kind of hard on it since it'd rotate under your hand, being completely round
it was also not designed to be held in the hand at all

at the time, I thought it looked cool as fuck though
got an old G3 iMac from an old family friend sometime in 2008 or so, god what a shit mouse
and now I'm trying to remember why the hell I didn't replace it first thing

man, I dunno what the hell Apple's been doing with cables
last time I saw Apple cables stand up to any abuse was with the 5th gen iPod (which also had their comfiest earbuds)

SP4 charger. Compact and has a powered USB charging port.

>The only mouse in that photo that I see any reason to consider bad is the shit one in the middle
>only one of them have a scroll wheel
>none have physical right button

>man, I dunno what the hell Apple's been doing with cables
My 5s' Lightning cable has been through hell and back, still works.

I got a 2010 macbook pro 15 from a friend.

the charger cord feels cheap and flimsy but I like the design itself.

Too bad nearly every one of the dedicated GPUs in in this series are defective.

Is Sup Forums's favorite charger is better than OP's? I guess time will tell.

As someone who grew up using macs at school, all of those mice sucks.
A lot of times the scroll wheels break or completely fuck up.

Top kek

Obviously someone there doesn't take care of their cables.

That isn't fraying.

Plug on the left isnt visually appealing

>buys $2000 laptop
>charger cable breaks after a few months because it was actually used

That's because you little shits would peel them off. Just like you'd rearrange the keyboards to spell edgy things like "atheism".

>he believes that there is a "god"
Americans always make me laugh

Being an atheist and being an edgy fuck about it are two very different things.

this

What shitty about it?

charges the computer, pops out if you tip on the cord, had nifty tabs to wind the cord on.

Why do you hate things you cant afford?

It's a great charger. The shit part is that it's $70.

You probably can find a bunch of these chargers with broken wires, then rewire and solder them if you know how. Then you can go sell them, because they cost an insane amount new from apple.

hey guys, did you know apple makes the worst laptops in history?

>using f.lux

>Apps using significant energy

It's the little things. I'm so fucking pumped for moving to OSX.

f.lux is useless. meme shit.

So useless Apple put it on their phones!

Yep, where I had it enabled for all of 2 days. It doesn't shit a fucking thing.

You were clearly born after 1997. Every charger used to be unique to the device you were using and would often change when a new model came out.

i installed it once and it made my screen red as fuck. no idea why anyone would want that

Well it does, but OK.

Why don't you spend 2 minutes reading why it does that? You don't even notice the difference after a couple of hours.

And of course Chrome is sitting there guzzling more electricity than the average mcdonalds customer drinks diet coke.

Google, get your head out of your ass

yeah, but it can still appnap if it's idle for a while.

safari, on the other hand, uses quite a small amount of power. but, and this is an annoying 'but', youtube videos are all garbled because of the way it tries to save battery life.

still, battery life on rMBP 15" from 2013 reporting in

>Why don't you spend 2 minutes reading

no

should point out, chrome is still open in this cap, just idle

yes

>>safari, on the other hand, uses quite a small amount of power. but, and this is an annoying 'but', youtube videos are all garbled because of the way it tries to save battery life.
Which videos? I watch youtube with Safari quite often and have no trouble.

Running the latest Safari tech preview on latest el cap though...

Didn't Steve Jobs lie to his biographer saying Apple invented universal voltage charger with Magsafe chargers?

it happens if flux is engaged during the night time hours. you'll see large white areas in the video

No it's not

Well aren't you a lazy little sack of shit

Your mom isn't visually appealing either, but she's wonderful in bed.

>Apps using significant energy
>the screen
>the HDD

Wow, that sounds useful as fuck.

They're actually breddy gud chargers, albeit extremely overpriced. I have yet to have one fail on me after 5 years of macfaggotry.

NK01 was the best of them

>scrolling wheel
>in 1980's
>why double click exists?

...

Lies.

Bullshit. Macbook air here, I have to replace the thing every two months.
I've had this thing for nearly three years and apple still hasn't changed the design one fucking bit. Same bullshit faux strain relief.

Have you tried wrapping the part that frays in electrical tape or duct tape or something for some reinforcement? Seems like it would save you some hassle.

>Well it does, but OK.
It doesn't

>Bullshit. Macbook air here, I have to replace the thing every two months.
Sounds like the problem is with you. Mine is still fine after 3 years.

Me and pretty much everyone I know who has ever owned an apple product eventually wound up having the insulation on a charger cable basically fall apart.

Now they just take stuff away, like your function keys.

>Seems like it would save you some hassle.
1. Then he wouldn't be able to whinge on Sup Forums.
2. He doesn't have any Apple products; can't bear the thought.

Take better care of your shit.

I've owned about 8 various Magsafe adapters over the years, and each of them looked nearly brand new when I sold them on, even the original T-style Magsafe that came with the original plastic Macbook.

I've got 2 in the house at the moment, both around 3 years old, not a mark on either.

can confirm this. Not super careful with my chargers, and they've seen a hell of a lot of use, but I've gone through 2, on my 3rd with my 5 year old mbp. NEVER had this happen with any charger before.

Easy, you resist the urge to yank on the cable to unplug it. Instead you grasp the connector.

T. Person who has never had a cable break, EVER.

soldering them is easy
'opening them without snapping the plastic because apple glues them shut' is the hard part

This pic shows what happens when you grab the device and just yank it to unplug it.

Why would a person do this?

Oh here look, this is what happened to 100% of Windows PC optical drives, because non-Apple users are so dumb LOL.

I've frayed the charging port side but never the side that goes into the brick. I would assume that I would have to use a heatgun to open it, or just break the thing open.

the easiest way is to use circlip pliers and hope for the best

Is this the greatest charger ever made?
