What do I use github looks like cancer

bitbucket
you also get private repos for free

Just use regular git then. If you don't want to use any central server and you don't know how to set up your own, even though git does 90% of that for you, just email git patches back and forth. Doing that is discussed in the git tutorial even, iirc.

gitlab is nice

gitlab or spin up your own server.

Use Git.

Just use git on the cli. Git gui's like github are for low IQ women and nigger faggots

SVN,
good enough for enterprise software

source: recently got hired by top tier non-startup tech company: IBM

gitlab

>top tier

GitLab or BitBucket, maybe GitGud at a push. Less cancerous and they smell quite nice.

>some hipstery start up no one heard about
>I is engineer now

git w/ Bitbucket or gitlab

gogs

do non chinks use this?

>nigger faggots
>not dumb nigger cattle

Gogs is amazing senpai.

Super easy to self-host and hardly takes up any resources. Literally just a binary you have to run on your sever. Setting up Gitlab was much more of a pain and used ~3GB of memory doing absolutely nothing.

>another idiot who thinks that github is git

>git = github
Fuck off.

Why are you assigning the value github to git?

I was thinking about using git as a replacement, not implying that github is git..

GitHub is not a version control; it's a site for hosting git repos.

A self-hosted Fossil instance.
