Since NoScript is considered now harmful, what is the best alternative? uMatrix? What is the choice of Sup Forumsentoomen?
NOSCRIPT alternatives?

you know you can disable the open newtab to his changelog page in the noscript prefs right
he's been doing the tricks in his page to prevent adblocking for an eternity
someone should point out to georgio that he's directly linking to malware though
I'm sure the Italian bastard knows that. He was whitelisting his own ADS!!! ffs. Sup Forums should pick a favourite, and the best noscript alternative. and start promoting it. It's absurd so many people suggest noscript and it's also bundled to things like TOR. Send a letter to TOR devs!!!
It's Tor not TOR.
Remove everything on the Whitelist page
Disable release info on Notifications page
also consider ...
That is not the point. Of course you can do it and ignore. How can you trust NoScript? Are you auditing the source after every release?
>Since NoScript is considered now harmful
wat
the default whitelist isn't exactly new or hidden.
about:config -> noscript.default
umatrix
Giorgio lost his trust after adding the Adblock Plus whitelisting code and lost the ability to have releases pushed to AMO without an audit of the changes. I trust Mozilla and the community to review and validate updates before they are approved on AMO.
Of course it's harmful. It is considered malware and harmful now by FOSS and GNU/Linux community.
The dev is a snake and shill for malware companies.
>It is considered malware and harmful now by FOSS and GNU/Linux community.
So not submitting to their ideologies is now harmful.
Fuck those guys.
> pic related. dev of noscript.
I don't fully trust the guy, no.
Yes uMatrix
Something more similar to NoScript? uMatrix is complicated.
NS is pretty shit out of the box anyway.
Gotta config it first to make it tolerable and efficient too.
I just use ublock origin. Works okay for me
We're talking about blocking javascript here, not your kids software to block few trackers.
Are you retarded?
...
I'm still in NoScript since i use it with uBlock Origin and uMatrix (previously i was on Ghostery + adblock plus) but you could always do about:config javascript.enable ...
Here's the ticket on Tor project tracker: trac.torproject.org
thx for shilling your blog post
now go back to >>>/reddit/, you can milk more idiots there
Okay Giorgio Maone and UNIBLUE SPEEED UP MY PC SHILL!
It's really not, won't take you long to get used to it coming from noscript. Just try it
> implying I have anything to shill. I just tell the truth. It's not blogspam your fucking moran.
Giorgio Maone is a shill
If you used NoScript, you won't have issues using uMatrix. I find it much easier to use, actually.
>links to article from 2009
holy shit, the autism is strong in this one.
> implying once the dev sold out he is a saint now.
>uMatrix is complicated
It's easier than NoScript you idiot.
uBlock Origin can block JavaScript you mongoloid.
How do longtime Sup Forums users feel about this sperg who's been pretending to ask the same question for years? Do mods not care about chronic samefagging?

UMatrix you fucking newfags
i don't audit it, and prefer umatrix. but it is used in the tor browser, so it most likely is audited by someone involved with the project.
well there you go linuxfags hurhurr I use free software and it's so secure. no one audits your shit besides hackers. even OpenSSL was with bugs, and still is, ffor very very long time.
enjoy your viruses fedorafags.
