So the middle button on my G500 finally died, and this is my 2nd RMA and is finally out of warranty. So I guess it's time for a new mouse.

What's something that's simple, good amount of additional buttons and can give the same solid heavy feel this mouse could?

IMO 1.1a
Everything past one thumb button is a meme. You have 101+ keys to your left that you're ignoring. The mouse is for pointing, buttons should be on the keyboard.

>muh kdr

I actually prefer the side buttons for regular work functions, page up, page down and such.

Have you tried using the keyboard's page up, page down and such, that have been there for about 45 years

It's obviously for convenience.

Open it up, identify the button and replace it? Unless you just want to consume a new mouse..

Gaymur products are built to fail
Gamer shit is literally the car equivalent of ricing and fawty eights inch rimz only poor people buy this shit

While possible I think it may just be the plastic on top of the button that's wearing thin, and may be more complicated than buying and soldering a new switch. The mouse is fairly old.

Logitech G502

...

Roccat

As great as this mouse is, weight doesn't seem like an issue for op, but the mouse wheel rattles.

the g502 was discontinued? it's still on their website

G303 if you want lightweight and minimalistic.
G502 if you want a higher end G500 replacement.
G402 if you want a G500 replacement, but don't want to spend $80.
G600 if you want a ton of extra macros for pg up/down etc, though it's a dated design.

>Tfw it's been 4 years since G600 came out, and still no updated model.
Love mine, but wish the macro buttons weren't so squishy, that it was a bit more lightweight, and had the same sensor as the G303 / G502.

my god those are ugly as shit.

Yeah, they've taken a weird design turn in recent years, but internally they're still great mice.
Just hope they don't start going full Razer on us.

what is the best mouse with the 12 side buttons?

My G700 is about to die.
left main button registering 2 clicks instead of one. Once it break I will have to commit sodoku before I buy any of those or the new hipster G700.

bought this zowie ec1-a recently, looks pretty cool, with just 2 side buttons and a dpi switch on the bottom.

love it so far. make sure to get the new version with the red logo though, not the white logo.

What does Sup Forums think about the Steelseries Rival 700?

G600 - I'm Love it over the Naga, but haven't gotten to compare it directly to a Corsair Scimitar.

From what I've heard and read on the Scimitar, it has 10/10 build quality, but the software isn't as easy to use, and it's harder to differentiate the macro keys from one another.

At that price, I'd rather buy the g502 and have more buttons and weights.

...

I've used my Logitech G5 for 11 years now and it's still working fine. How are you guys breaking your mice?

Have you tried cleaning it out?
Mine stopped working a couple of years ago and it turns out it was just dusty.

A quick blow from a compressor fixed it.

>not slamming your mouse on the desk when you sperg out
fucking loser.

Is that the only negative of the mouse? Because Steelseries said only the first batch of the 300 Series had that problem and they replaced them when you had the problem.

yea but its still rubber. its not the greatest material for your mouse. why dont you buy ?

G502 Proteus Core is discontinued
G502 Proteus Spectrum isn't

WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT HAHAH
"JUST FUCK MY MOUSE UP SENPAI"
LIKE I WANT A SLAB OF GRANITE ON MY DESK HAHAHAHA

Tbhfamalam the 300 is much better bang for your buck
