Tfw 400 open tabs
Other urls found in this thread:

and not one worth reading
Just close them and don't even worry about it.
How much RAM do you need for that?
Use ctrl w when you're done with a tab.
I wonder how you will feel when the global network goes down.
>always have 200+ tabs open
>98% are middle clicked porn pics from various boards
Feels good man.
onetab
>tfw over 700GB of porn
When the global network goes down I'll be the porn Kingpin in my area.
Same. It's embarrassing. I feel like once I bookmark it, I'm committing to not reading it. I'm such a procrastinator.
>only 700GB
copy all urls for chrome extension
copy all your open urls to a list
paste and save as a .txt
you're welcome op you're welcome
browser-session.txt
I upgraded to 24 GB of RAM specifically for the purposes of looking at girls on anime Image Boards. Usually have at least a few hundred tabs open at a time.
Disk thrashing need not apply, as RAM has smitten thee.
>only 700GB
>not 6TB
Come on user, are you even trying?
Session Buddy:
chrome.google.com
Copy All Urls:
chrome.google.com
The latter is insanely useful, especially since you can specify any format you want using $title and $url substitution. I usually use it to copy a shitload of URLs either in either of the following formats (the latter being Markdown.
I pray that Sup Forums actually has a "code" tag, because I saw formatted code here earlier today:
$url - $title
[$title]($url)
So fucking pleb
What do you need all those windows for, user?
>utorrent
>calling others pleb
i want to fug kuro
You should kill yourself, really.
>700GB of porn
That better be in eromanga only because you're smalltime if it's all video.
>tfw 234 tabs
>tfw knowing half tf
Thanks, can you stream it?

wow
session manager in firefox is awesome
wonder if there is anything like it for chromium
You probably suffer from depression, so you're constantly opening new tabs for that next little fix of endorphins to try and make your pathetic life meaningful.
scientificamerican.com
tree style tabs is great for tab hoarding. i can easily keep track of hundreds of tabs.
...
You realize Chrome has "pickup where you left off" that saves tabs and reopens them when you reopen the browser?
What the actual fuck.
mfw most of them are pictures of japanese cartoons
it's hard for me to ever have more than 10 open at a time.
why
how much ram did it consume?
If you install the SuspendTab addon, it's actually totally liveable. Firefox memory usage sitting comfortably at 1.6 gigs now.
My firefox becomes unstable and won't last long before crashing once I'm over 100 tabs; also crashes whenever firefox gets to about 2.3GB of memory
haven't updated in a few months; don't know if the newest release will work better
I'm on wangblows 7, maybe that's the problem...
pls teach me senpai
I normally don't go past 20. I normally maintain about 10.
see
>when your firefox session gets so big that you split the session into multiple other sessions to reduce the time it takes to start up but now those sub-sessions are getting too big as well
Mine are usually all fap material. Some days I scroll through the list, copy all tabs with direct image links and just close every tab.
does suspendtab allow you to only suspend manually?
Yeah, just disable the timeout.
Although, I misremembered the name, I'm actually using UnloadTab not SuspendTab.
Why no just use bookmarks?
do you know if it works with tree style tabs?
No idea. It's worth a shot; back up your ~/.mozilla first in case it doesn't work out.
Fuck
1368 tabs right now, help, I don't know how this keeps happening.
For some reason Tree Style Tabs starts freaking out for me with a lot of tabs, with tabs disappearing from the list while still existing and other strange things.
Seriously this. I had the same situation not long ago and just closing them didn't cause any grief.
I DO THIS SOMETIMES
JUST LET THE BROWSER CRASH AND FORGET ALL ABOUT THE TABS
KILL ITS PROCESS
Source?
>tfw used to have 400 tabs open with Firefox' tab groups and Vimperator's tab searching feature
>realized I was just emulating bookmarks
>now use Chrome and have at most 10 tabs open at any time
I can't even stand more than 5 tabs open
>yfw browser crashes
>restore tabs doesn't work
>browser already has the tab/session backup overwritten
I can't bring myself to do this
Fucking illya, half of this shit's just the official art.
So sad.
>400 tabs
>1368 tabs
>1873 tabs
Is it the user fault though?
Or are tabs the worst interface paradigm in the history of gui design?
Why not just use windows and let the the window manager deal with window stacking/tiling/tabbing/etc?
But why?
>peer-to-peer file sharing predicts a greater propensity to experience symptoms of depression
...
Guess this means I've been depressed since 4th grade... ah geez, it all makes sense now at 27... oh geeez oh man
Yeah. I have this problem. It fucking sucks, man.
I had just started browsing, and... pic related.
> ~100 saved sessions with ~200 tabs each
> ~1000 bookmarks
hold me, Sup Forums
I don't save any sessions. That's why it gets worse: I set firefox to resume where I left off. It takes minutes to start.
I do the same.
What kills me in when a resume fails, especially in chrome.
(I've filled up firefox, takes too long to load so I said fuck it and used safari for a bit, now I'm on chrome because safari's full.)
I still have session files from previous operating system installs I have to go through and exit sometime.
Oh, the chrome thing.
So I lost what was probably ten windows with 200 tabs each, so sometime I need to go through my history for the last three months and open every single link in a new tab.
I'm seriously considering buying a trashcan with 64gb ram, copying over my boot disk, loading and closing everything, then taking the trash can back.
How does that even happen?
>Ctrl shift D to bookmark all tabs
>Close all tabs
>work your way through the bookmarks
Ctrl-click (or middle-click) instead of simply clicking.
see a therapist
Are you guys retarded? You can literally right click on the tabs bar and bookmark all tabs into a folder. This can be done in Firefox too iirc
So this is why Sup Forums thinks it needs 16gbs of ram
>haven't updated in a few months;
Glad im not the only one who does this, "updates" that only bring more bugs and take away features are something to be wary of.
Yup, those pornhub videos are really ram hungry
i know that feel m9, im down too 183 atm, just dump everything to do related in a to do list and dump all the information in specific bookmark folders
I'm the 1873 guy. I totally agree with you that it should be the WM's job, I've been saying that for ages. Something like the Plan 9 recursive WM would be best.
