Based AMD didn't fall for the overpriced LGA meme.

Yeah, just break that $200 CPU instead of the $80 motherboard XD

Fuck yes!

LGA is a meme.

Just unbend the pin you incompetent fuck.

Was known for a while that AM4 is PGA.

The thing is with PGA, neither of them break. If a heat spreader gets glue to a heat sink the locking arm isn't holding onto the pins with enough tension to unseat them from the package. The CPU will lift straight out of the socket with enough force.

Its easier heating up the heat sink with a hair dryer and removing a stuck CPU than it is dealing with a bent locking mechanism on an LGA board.

Yeah, just break that irreparable $80 LGA motherboard instead of the easily reparable PGA processor xD

Where's this picture from?

From AMD's Computex presentation.

>tfw working in a pc shop
>having to put up with the nightmare Intel cooler
>hear a crunching sound every time I install an LGA processor
>complain to boss
>he says if I can shill AMD systems then why not
>our 3 top selling processors are the a4 7300, a8 7600, and g4400
>that comfy pga installation
>that comfy cpu cooler installation

Boss is happy too, we're selling the a8 systems same price as we used to sell i3 systems, even though the a8 is 70 dollars cheaper too buy.

the world needs more people like you

LGA 2013 motherboards can cost more than the entry level LGA 2013 CPUs, and more than any LGA 1151 CPU.

I honestly hope zen offers value like the a8 7600, otherwise we'll be forced to move back to a primarily Intel based shop, which would suck.

I love offering the customers choice and explaining to them the advantages of either build.

>being such a mongoloid that you break components just by handling them
The only difference is if you bend pins on a cpu it's a little easier to /diy/ it

>more profit for you
>customer gets a better system free of jewtel
Nice

...

Pretty much. It's a win/win.

Of course, until zen comes out I might have to gradually move customers back to Intel.

A real hero

>If a heat spreader gets glue to a heat sink
I have never seen this happen.

It's much easier to fix bent pins on a CPU than it is on a motherboard

or you can even drop the broken pin into the slot it goes to potentially fix it

youtube.com/watch?v=EdDccsbv5hA

Same.

Just because you've never seen it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Happens all the time, more with AM2 though, because heat.

I've had some hard to remove CPUs that were stuck on the heatsink, but nothing overly difficult.

>condoning cucked AMDfag actions of ripping of consumers

I can't wait until insurance called you shitty PC shop due to the housefires.

I do all the time. The more time it stays untouched, the easier it is to glue in.
Dealing with customer's 478's is a fun time indeed.

>we're selling the a8 systems same price as we used to sell i3 systems, even though the a8 is 70 dollars cheaper too buy.

So you're ripping off clueless people? Fucking jew.

> hurr profit is bad
Come on Mr. Sanders, you've got a failing campaign to run.

>tfw voted for Sanders today because I forgot to reregister and I wanted to dick over Hillary

felt dirty mang

I'm not even American and I hope Trump wins, because either a) he's turn around a new Golden Age for America, or b) he'll run the entire thing down the shitter.

Either way, as an Australian, I'll be relatively fine. Except for our own fucking government.

As an American I hope the lot of them choke on their next meal.
We're so fucked.

Let's see.
>same cpu performance
>better gpu performance
>actually capable of running many games on low to medium settings
>A rip off

Lol wut

You know their opterons are LGA for ages right? Fucking retard.

Summit Ridge looks pretty cool.
Zen core arch detailed at HotChips on August 23rd. Same day as IBM new POWER9 arch. The two presentations are back to back. Its going to be cool as hell. Mark your calendars, faggots.

based

>not believing in the man who scares the wicked
Trump is going to fuck up every scumbag in government. All the senators pushing globalist agendas that conflict with American interests for the sake of profits, all the intelligence community spooks who plot to subvert order decades in the future like Bush Sr, all the career sociopaths like Hillary who are only in it for personal wealth and power.

Trump terrifies them all because hes going to ruin them.

>cpu pins

Nice try, kid.
Opterons are FcBGA. They are not LGA.
Head on back to Sup Forums, its more your speed anyway.

>Socket G34 is a land grid array CPU socket designed by AMD to support AMD's multi-chip module Opteron 6000-series server processors. G34 was launched on March 29, 2010, alongside the initial grouping of Opteron 6100 processors designed for it

Shut the fuck up and go back to whatever shithole you crawled out of.

PGA master race.
