PC-Build-Thread

This is what i want to buy next week.
I have 1200€. All i want is a quiet machine for some Games like WoW.

Any recomantions ?

>Optical drive
Really nigga

Are you a mountain jew?

Yeah maybe this could be scrapped from my list.

why are you asking ?

You might as well buy one if you own some physical media.

>A HDD is always loud go with SSD only
>There is no advantage of an i7 over an i5 for gaming
>This is the worst time of the year to buy a GPU wait one more month

Rate my planned upgrade

>>SSD only ?
Isn´t that expensive as fuck ?

>>i5
yeah i think you are right.

>>This is the worst time of the year to buy a GPU wait one more month
which would you recomend ?

>not buying a 1000W PSU, but thinking logically and buying a 550W PSU
you did good user.

He still went with the wrong PSU. The right one would be the Straight Power one.

Whats up with clapistanians thinking that 600W is the absolute minimum?

OP, wait for the 480 which is releasing this month.

Just curious.

i think i wait for the 480.
Thanks

ok.. but no i am not an mountain jew

I thought it was Swiss instead of Deutsche. Yes, I'm that ignorant. Sorry.

>expensive as fuck
>costs around 80$
Also wait for the 1070 or r480

>expensive as fuck
>costs around 80$

A SSD width 1000GB for 80$ ?
Where ?

I need a minimum Space of 1000GB.
As you can see there is a 1000GB HDD and a 250GB SSD.

5820k vs 6700k I still can't understand who would need most cores and it really isn't much isn't the lower tdp and clock speed worth more

Get the 6700k if you're a way it's meant to be played gaymer and you want top of the line performance this year and next. Get a 5820k if you do more practical stuff that can benefit from 12 threads and want future compatibility with Broadwell-E on your mobo.

This is my PC as of now (it's built already, built it 2+ years ago) what change? Or is a new build a better idea.

Wait for zen + big pascal/vega

WoW is literally trash, avoid it

So, get rid of everything, start anew?

Mates, i got around $600.
Being a poorfag.
Whats the best rig i can build?

You forgot this.

>Jetzt noch eine 390 NEU kaufen
>Behindert.jpg
Ich habe schon welche neu im Ausverkauf für 220 gesehen

Used 2500K office PC with used AMD card

it depends entirely on your needs

if you're just browsing /hm/ or whatever, it's perfectly fine, but if you want to play BF1 at ultra, then yeah you might need to upgrade

8320 isn't bad at all, so that should still be good for a few years. that being said, by the time big polaris comes out, your pc will be ~3 years old, so you could maybe justify a completely new pc

personally, I'd get a 480 or 490 and call it a day. your cpu will be fine for probably another 3-4 years

My original intention was to switch GPU, PSU (Because that thing is absolute garbage desu) and maybe MoBo because why the fuck not. Do those upgrades sound at least decent?

>gpu
yes
>psu
don't know the brand, but it doesn't hurt to get a name brand. 50/50
>mobo
why? literally zero improvement

>Asus ROG
Please explain why you want this mobo for $250.

That cooler aint gonna do the trick with an i7, they tend to get pretty hot compared to the i5. So either get an i5 6600k or a better air cooler or all in one water cooling set, like the corsair h90. The 100 series probably wont fit in that case.

Also that Asus mobo looks rather unfit for overclocking. The cooling for the VRMs is really lacking. In that price range the asrock Z170 pro4 might be the better choice.

Also if you're not going to overlock at all, get a non-k cpu and a b150 mobo and use the money you saved for a stronger GPU.
