Trump is against the TPP.
Here's your (you)
Too late. hahahahhahaha
It was always going to go through
The majority of Congress is pro TPP and neither Hillary nor Trump nor Sanders could have stopped it.
Is it not true?
He's right you collosal retard
Go lick your wounds with the rest of the Bernouts on leddit
>Billionaire
>Against TPP
So in Yurop they only ever talk about Hilary because shitty propaganda and whatnot but how is Trump doing right now?
Does he actually have realistic chances to win the election?
He can win for sure but it doesn't seem likely so far.
Candidates are publicy against it, but they will all let it go through.
Just like Bill Clinton was publicly against NAFTA at first.
TPP is too big of a boost to US heg to be stopped
Hard to know
He doesn't follow the normal rules of US politics
How doesn't it seem likely?
If Bernie runs independent then he will fracture the voterbase, giving Trump an easy win.
Even if he drops out, plenty of his supporters don't seem to like Clinton much. Meanwhile Trump's supporters are extremely loyal and will turn out in November. Look at 2014 to see what happens when your voterbase is disillusioned.
He has strong support in his base but that's not what matters. He has low ratings in crucial swing states, Ohio, Florida , Pennsylvania.
Assuming Bernie doesn't run independently he doesn't have high odds of winning.
Neither of these are valid counter arguments
Trump is a nationalist to the point he openly wants to sever the majority of international manufacturing and bring it back to the U.S.
When he openly advocates policies that extreme, opposing the TPP seems tame in comparison
It's true for now, but trump is a populist. He has no views of his own. He changes his positions on a whim to keep his popularity, so when he talks to ignorant white guys who hate foreigners and stirnerist and libertarian nerds who hate the IP reliant industries, he's against the TPP. When he's elected and buddy-buddy with business and far away from the populace, he's for it. And he knows americans would be too pussy to impeach him. After all, they didn't do shit when obama and bush never kept their word.
>pollling this early on
You realize Trump's favorability ratings have been rising over time, right? He has Napoleon and Hitler levels of charisma.
>impeaching a president for not keeping their word
lel
I'm just letting you know what's going to happen.
Believe me or not, I don't care
He has a pretty good chance with how corrupt Hillary looks.
But even if Trump does win, (((they))) will come out and say, "oh look! Hillary won with 51%! Better luck next time, Trump :^)".
1. He doesn't
2. Neither of those men were particularly charismatic. Hitler was in later years due to a lot of hardwork.
Stick to talking about tech son.
>If Bernie runs independent then he will fracture the voterbase, giving Trump an easy win.
As much as I would like for this to happen, you sound like you're living in a fantasy land. Trump has alienated so many core voting blocks at this point that his chance of winning a general election is basically slim to none. If he doesn't do some serious reconciliation between now and november he is completely fucked. No one likes hilary but if its between her and trump the berniekids are gonna side with her
>Things americans should do for $500, alex
neither hitler nor napolen were charismatic, for fuck's sake not even hitler's comrades liked hitler in ww1 because he was an introvert
Trump didn't alienate half the people he supposedly did, the liberal media did the work for him
Trump insults one woman = media says a "verbal assault" against one woman is pure hatred for ALL women
Trump insults one block of mexicans = media says trump hates all mexicans
You mean things the legislature should do? You realize you have to actually commit a crime to be impeached
extroverts literally btfo
That's a major flaw in the american system. A leader elected based on popularity rather than true qualifications should be ousted based on unpopularity.
hitler killed himself.
he's a real estate developer though, the TPP doesn't bring much benefit to him as far as i know
Are you serious? Trump has a laundry list of awful comments about women. He's said much chauvinist bullshit that it's really a wonder why any woman, republican or otherwise, would ever vote for him.
>trump insults one block of mexicans
Which block? Is a highly qualified American judge with a hispanic background included in that block?
Regardless, you're backpedaling. It doesn't matter how he alienated them, only that it happened. The media plays a large part in any election so you can either play them or get fucked.
Nobody really knows what Trump wants, least of all himself.
Hillary has already shilled TPP like 50 times or something before Bernie pushed her to be "sceptical of some parts" of it.
What country isn't fucked at this point?
Popularity is fickle you underage retard. Nearly every US president has been sub-50% approval rating at some point during their time in office. You can't toss someone out the door every time they become "unpopular".
Not him but
>The media plays a large part in any election so you can either play them or get fucked.
You act like Trump hasn't had an EXTREMELY disproportionate amount of media coverage in the past 12 months. It's even news when he fucking tweets something. The media hasn't been used in a politician's advantage so effectively in a VERY long time.
>Are you serious? Trump has a laundry list of awful comments about women. He's said much chauvinist bullshit that it's really a wonder why any woman, republican or otherwise, would ever vote for him.
Eh, who cares. I find the "torture even if it doesn't work", "do a hell lotta worse than waterboarding", "the geneva convention is a problem", and "we have to bomb their families" more worrying.
Trump has been consistently against TPP you dunce.
he killed a lot more of (((you)))
Saying he's consistent on something isn't saying much, lol. He's got Jeb Bush donors backing him now.
you're spending too much of your time here
I don't disagree, I'm just responding to his comments that Trump only insulted "one woman". From a woman's perspective, the guy is a misogynist creep, and there are a lot of women who care a hell of a lot more about that than they do about any real issues.
You spend too little, normie.
>misogynist creep
He's just tactless, I sincerely doubt he hates women. Or, well, being the narcissist he is he hates everyone equally anyway. Except himself of course.
>There's a small chance Trump might not be against TPP
>Better vote for the candidate who is staunchly pro-TPP
What great logic.
Pretty much this. All news is good news. Trump dominates the mindshare of the plebs, everyone has strong feeling of either like or dislike. With Clinton everybody knows that they're getting an establishemt ruled puppet. She's keeping quiet now because if she was to open her mouth, everyone would realise just how dumb she is.
I'm not sure who said what you quoted, but that person who was pro-TPP must have been quite retarded. Which is convenient for you I guess.
His objection to it is because "America" doesn't get the biggest benefit from this deal.
It's hilarious on its face and shows that he has no idea what he's even talking about.
He needs at least 1 million more voters that haven't come out yet; so says friends of the campaign. Things could change drastically between now and election day; he's gong so far as having an entire conference on the Clinton's, all the while Sanders isn't backing down and his supporters getting further feverish, and the whole email scandal... the real trouble is in the idea that Biden would run, Hilary is already sporting a limp leg.
>implying Trump won't be an establishment Reagan character with "advisers" around him
It's better to vote for senators and representatives that are anti-TPP over believing anything that comes out of either of their mouths, both of them are sketchy.
>that person who was pro-TPP must have been quite retarded. Which is convenient for you I guess.
How was that insult supposed to work? Do you think I'm pro-TPP?
Regardless, there are only two viable choices for the presidency right now. One is against TPP, but inconsistent, the other is pro-TPP. So, if you do not like TPP, which candidate would have the better odds of dismantling it?
>not writing in Bernie's name
He fucked them over enough that the course of action seems so. He, however, has the support of the disgruntled military, something that is far more powerful than petty cash.
Everyone is getting all lost in this and forgetting that we were talking about WW3 just last year- no matter the actual chance, the military is far too important right now to upset them for another 4-8 years.
LMAO LOOK AT THAT ASSORTMENT OF BERNKUCKS
WHAT A SHITSHOW
TPP AND TTIP IS NET POSITIVE FOR AMURIKA RELATIVE TO ITS TRADING PARTNERS
BUT IT INCLUDES MAJOR CRACKDOWNS ON PIRACY AKA FREE STUFF FROM THE INTERNET
Mexicans can't vote anyway, u have to be American iirc.
The scariest thing about TPP, TTIP, NAFTA, what have you, are investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS).
The erosion of democracy and the race to the bottom.
Liberals thought it was racist that you had to use identification to vote, so now Pablo and Juarez can vote too :-D
you are right.
He is probably too stupid to mean anything by what he says
Trump is just an actor, he won't do shit
Idiocracy is real.
SAUDI ARABIA IS THREATENING TO DUMP THEIR TRILLION OF PETRODOLLAR ASSETS IF LAWSUITS ABOUT 9/11 ARE ALLOWED
NWO SINGLE CURRENCY WORLD GOVERNMENT HO
THE REMOVAL OF FOOD LABELING IS THE NASTIEST SHIT ABOUT THESE TRADE DEALS. ARE THESE IMPORTED LEADED SHRIMP FROM THE SEWERS OF CHINA? MAYBE
Most Bernie supporters hate Hillary as much as they hate Trump. They probably won't vote at all.
Not mentioning the recent poll which has Trump ahead of Clinton by three points, eh?
And, he literally hasn't said anything about women that anyone that isn't a mangina beta-cuck would find objectionable.
Source?
Provide evidence for these claims
That means nothing
Provide evidence that he is pro TPP
Youre a media sheep then, because he hasn't made overarching comments
But go blog about how he's real "creepy" (as if that is an intelligent argument)
It'll make the victory over you entitled milenials that much sweeter
>le trump is stopid XD
Back to resdit
Daily reminder that respecting opinions on politics is for losers who lie down and let people's opinions and "feelings" dictate the direction of the country.
Anyone who isn't scouring economic and political science journals and in a academic dialogue shouldn't argue about this kind of thing.
Its like if you were trying to argue about theoretical elementary particles or proposing a new branch of mathematics.
The TPP is largely a good thing. Every scientific analysis of it shows growth in most industries for every country. People misrepresent the ISDS sections into something they aren't.
The issue is the intellectual property sections, and honestly, on an ideological level I see nothing wrong with letting someone who's service you use look at their own bandwidth (or not). Its not one sided. I'm against piracy wholeheartedly, but if it extends much further I'd be more against this type of thing. Luckily, its very tame as it is written.
Fucking bigot. Racist piece of shit.
You mean TTIP? Hopefully not
Have you ever read the ISDS sections of the TPP? Because it isn't bad at all.

If you haven't, I suggest you read the full document, analyses, and other scholarly articles about this.
It seems most people who are against this and specifically the ISDS haven't written or read them.
>scientific journals exist for politics
Confirmed retard
Provide an example of anything I've said that's racist
Its amazing how Jersey is Solid Democratic however they voted in a Governor on 2 terms who is actively licking Trump's asshole in hopes of getting Vice President.
I fucking hate my state.
Chris Christie is a class act and a great politican
One of the few decent people in your dumping ground of a state
It's called a Veto look it up
Are you ignoring that political science journals exist? Because that's what I said. And specific scientific journals for every issue.
Chris Christie is a class act and a great politican
One of the few decent people in your dumping ground of a state
Berniebot sensors are going off
>politics
>a real science
Are you a liberal arts major or something?
Politics aren't quantifiable in the way REAL scientific journals are. They do not deserve the title.
>incessant talking about how she broke the glass ceiling on major party bullshit
>muh daughter this muh daughter that
fucking hell, no way i'm voting for either of these.
I'm a physics grad student.
I didn't say they were real scientific journals. I called them "political science" journals.
supermajority Trumps (heh) a veto, and most of both parties want TPP
Also, science isn't as explicitly quantifiable as people say. Many accepted sciences aren't able to control their variables like Astronomy.
Now they do fancy tricks like Bayesian stuff, but so do polisci people.
The 'only people who agree with me should be allowed to vote' doctrine the Republicans tout is why they got the pants beat off them by Obama twice and why a new yorker stole the party nomination. Lighten up a little.
I never said that. I'm saying its a shame that its hard to have real discussion because people act like its just feelings and opinions.
Noone takes it seriously.
I fully am against voter suppression.
Politics is feelings and opinions. The fact that Republicans don't understand that is another factor to the aforementioned losses.
That's not the reason you idiot, do you really think THAT was the factor
I forget how autistic g is sometimes
I'm not a republican. I'm an independent.
I'm slightly right of Hillary, and am closest to her on issues (>inb4 that means I'm a fascist).
The only way its opinions is on which facts you care about more. To me that's why its important to have representatives. They set the agenda for the executives to look at facts on how to follow.
It doesn't help Republicans that nobody wants to be a Republican.
Hopefully, the TPP can save the US economy from Trump's bankruptcy Mida's touch.
>If, God forbids, he's elected.
The TPP isn't going to be a sparkplug for our economy. Most estimates show it increasing growth by .5% to 2% every 20 years. Which is a lot of money but not a huge difference. Its appeal is mostly symbolic and how it helps the rest of the world. It still helps us though. We need free trade.
Trump's bankrupcy touch and the TPP's goodness/badness are vastly overstated.
Here's to them both being vastly overstated.
/clinks glass.
>if God forbids, he's elected.
>Popularity is fickle
Then maybe presidents shouldn't be elected based on popularity, but instead on whether or not he or she is qualified. Or to put it better, perhaps candidates should only be popular based on how qualified they are. Which was the point of the post you responded to that you obviously missed, because you were too busy being a colossal faggot.
I agree. The President should be elected by a body of regional governors who are appointed by the President.
I've always maintained that the population should vote for each, but congress should be based on ideology and popularity to represent the people whereas the president should be voted by looking at technical details because he or she's not a representative but an executive
You are not even a woman and still, here you are talking about "women's perspective". And if the really small off chance that you are in fact a woman: enjoy being one of the grave diggers.
>programmers should be hired based on anything other than how well they program
Democracy? What democracy? The Us is a circus show and the eu is an authoritarian left cuckcracy at this point. There is no democracy.
Programmers should be hired on demand then laid off when the job is done like the filthy day laborers they are.
