That one editor I can never remember the name of. Darktable or lightroom or lighttable or darkroom or whatever. It's a professional editor that was used by virtually everyone throughout the 2k's.
ffmpeg
Gentoo
People say Blender is a pretty good editor. I don't know, I might have to check that out.
Lightworks?
Blender
Openshot
Blender
Yeah, that one.
I would have suggested Blender, but this thread showed me Lightworks works on Linux. So use that.
Blender is more stable
install windows or OSX
proprietary i think it's lightworks:

Open source and without restrictions try kdenlive:

It's pretty easy to use and has a lot of features.
...
Only FOSS.
Industrial strength: Cinelerra-cv
Potentially very good: Blender
Screencasting: Open Broadcaster Studio
Pleb tier but good: OpenShot
kdenlive.
This shit is gold, its basically a sony vegas clone and just werks. Maybe takes some time to get into, but its worth it.

Choose one.
You're going to have to use a Windows tool to accomplish anything even remotely professional. The Linux and open-source communities are not professional.
There's like a 99% chance someone posting on Sup Forums asking about video editing isn't remotely near professional level. Any of the packages mentioned are fine for someone cutting youtube clips or whatever.
Lightworks is by far the best native linux option. It's not FOSS but when it comes to technical software like this you're just not going to get decent open source options as literally everything you use in relation video is proprietary (codecs in particular).
Windows

Kdenlive from my experience is the closest to a traditioanl, full-fledged video editor. Its really good, actually.
Openshot is good if you want a Windows Moviemaker type of deal for quick edits.

Please stop breathing.
You're obviously so ignorant that there is no point to prove you wrong, you won't ever get it.
I won't waste my time.
This post is of the caliber I would expect from someone who quotes a fucking retard e-celeb for an example.
Fuck off.

some user was saying shotcut is nice
Blender is literally the best media editor out there and it's 100% FOSS.
It's meant to be used by professionals, but you can get simple stuff done as well. It edits video, audio and can also be used to make both 2D and 3D CG models and animation.
Get it and watch tutorials oriented to whatever you want to do.
I personally use Kdenlive. I don't know if anything's the, "best," though.
I thought Blender was an animation program?
