4 inches is almost too small even if you want easy one handed use, using my girlfriends iPhone 5S with one hand is almost more uncomfy than my Oneplus One but that might be a problem with iPhones since they have such stupidly big bezels. 4.8-5.2 inches is the sweet spot if you want a small phone that doesn't feel like you're holding a Nokia 3310
