What paid software do you use?

>Adobe CC
>MATLAB

Microsoft Office
Sony Vegas Pro
Adobe Photoshop CC
Adobe After Effects CC
Adobe Premiere CC

Beyond Compare

Windows 10
MS Office 2003

I dual boot with Lubuntu so I don't need a lot of software on the windows side of things (which is why I have yet to buy a newer version of Office).

wHO IS THIS SEMEN DEMON?

Windows Firewall Control. $10 for a lifetime license and it does exactly what I need it to do.

If someone paid for it and stopped usuing it, its still paid software right?

GNU/Linux.
I pay for it with my free time fixing shit constantly.

Quit using Arch

Why the fuck would i pay some fucking foreigner for software?
My nation needs my money more.

I never paid for software :3

Do donations count? If so, I pay $240/year for OpenBSD

Some multiplayer Games, got the Windows licence for free as a student. This PC is used only for playing games.

On all devices where communication or private data is stored I only use Linux systems and free software.

None, there are free alternatives for just about everything out there, I use Libreoffice, that's pretty great, I use Debian and that just works fine and I install the latest packages of everything instead of using apt for packages because old packages, plus im poor as of now so im not getting paid software, plus all I use my computer for is moderate browsing, music, videos, torrenting, word processing, editing text and video editing (along with sound production with audacity and video with OBS) feels pretty good not getting cucked. But I am using a paid FLOSS app from Google Play called Plumble which is a Mumble client that is really good.

Windows and Xsplit.

OSX
DM1

Some vidya and a video editor

Paragon NTFS for OS X.
All the free alternatives were shit and so is the beta official support of NTFS on OS X.
I'm still kind of butthurt because I use a Seagate drive on my computer and Paragon had a free download of their software that worked only for Seagate drives. Needless to say, it didn't work.

My country doesn't produce any software that i know of which is relevant in any way.
Thank the Heavens for me living in a 2nd world shithole.

Does Spotify Premium count?

Ae/pp

Windows
Lightroom
Photoshop
XChat

Windows
M. Office
Photoshop CS6 student offer

It's funny how I switched to more free software the older I got. Used to think that paid software is outright better than free. Turns out that isnt the case most of the time.

How does that work if I can grab its code, compile it and use it?

a paid license of matlab!!!!! you must be rich

Is matlab worthwhile if I'm already fluent in pythons?

I've paid for a handful of games on steam and I paid for Windows 7, I pirated everything else

How do you grab its code before paying for it?

OS X: Alfred Powerpack, Daisy Disk

Android: Lastpass, PowerAmp music player

FRAPS
Windblows 7
I might pick up a cheap video editor on steam some time but I have yet to find one that isn't shit.

>import matlab

if "fluent in pythons" includes proficiency in numpy then no not really unless your job requires it

there's some specific engineering stuff like simulink though that's more of a layer on top of matlab though and there's the symbolic toolbox but python has sympy so it's probably alright

>paying for software
>2016

All the programs have lifetime key, which is the only reason I never bought Winrar :)

does this mean i should use Atom

>paying for malware

which one?

first one

Not this guy but actually it doesn't cost a lot for students.
There are plenty of useful MATLAB modules (the so-called toolboxes) that don't have a reliable Python equivalent, however you can most of the time learn them on the spot.

...

Been using it for years now. It is the last thing from malware. It uninstalls the program as Windows would do but then scans registry and all folders for anything with the program name and let you delete.

inb4 shill

You had to pay for that?

I just torrented it.

how do you plan on attaching it?

Have to make sure it works properly.
So once I figure out how to turn Software into Hardware I'll get back to you.

Videogames, Photoshop... and that's about it...
I'd say windows, but I get free licenses from work.

Photoshop is amazing and no freetard program can compare.

Ironically, an ad-free torrenting app.

A minimalist cleaner app and a podcast organizer.

Altogether a $4.65 investment.

Only vidya
I get the windows license free for my study with office and creative cloud.
