It sounds good. It uses the CS4398 chip as DAC which is Cirrus Logic flagship if I'm not mistaken, 120dB SNR.
Also it requires it's own power brick so it should be able to push some relatively hard to drive headphones. Sadly, I have no such headphones to test.
