Linux distros most suitable for laptops

Preferably with support for touchpad gestures, better battery life and less heating

MacOS

Xubuntu

The linux kernel, you obnoxious loser.

Fedora, mate. Been running it for a month and it's beautiful.

bumping this meme distro. Comfy as fuck

Ubuntu Unity with effects turned off

Also install powertop

Arch on my thinkpad

Works well.

Right? It's been so reliable, and there are updates pretty much every day. Plus, it's extremely light on resources.

Manjaro XFCE. I get ~8 hours of battery life with it and only ~4 with Windows.

fake

Whatever makes you sleep at night. Windows 10 is a huge battery hog and Manjaro XFCE is lightweight. Other distros are probably good, but my best experience is Manjaro.

Just install Gentoo already

>powertop

Gentoo, with ultimate customization abilities.
Don't let others fool your, compiling on laptops just makes it cooler.

Arch xfce

ChromiumOS

Install Manjaro

Just use Windows.

Ubuntu mate, mint mate. Pretty much anything LTS with mate. It's quick like xubuntu but way more stable.

Xubuntu works just fine.
