Wyatt Lopez
>stalled I think I'll keep using deluge, thx
Xavier Martin
I wish they'd remove the Stalled status so people stop memeing
Adrian Ward
>FEATURE: Implement Torrent Management Mode(TMM) (glassez) The fuck is this? It sounds big, and big+new means broken, I guess I should wait a few weeks for them to unfuck things > PERFORMANCE: Optimize drawing in speed graph (Anton Lashkov, Chocobo1) Finally
Jaxson Thomas
>hide the stalling!!! hide it!!!!!!!! I want people to love my stalled client!!!!!! wahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jose Hernandez
Does it still freeze up on OSX if you leave it in the background for a few hours? Seriously, I use it for the RSS and it doesn't even work reliably for that.
Ryder Martin
I prefer to use Hadouken on windows. Runs in my main browser fine.
Daniel Campbell
Cool beans.
Connor Flores
Manual is the old behavior, you select where you want to save the files. Automatic means when you set a category it will save/move the torrent to the folder of that category
Lucas Myers
neat
Robert Perez
Piece of shit. >Has not wayland support >2016 Rufus the best client.
Joshua Rodriguez
Wow this is a massive piece of garbage. I just updated and now it won't even fucking start.
Way to go qBittorrent. You really outdone yourselves this time.
Adrian Myers
Nice, looks like some nice changes there.
Adrian Sanders
wow 30 seconds apart, you'd never imagine, would you?
Luis Sanders
If "Stalled" was switched to "Connecting" nobody would whine. Every client "stalls" at the beginning of a download, when looking for peers. I've never experienced random stalling in the middle of a download, unless there are 0 peers suddenly.
Jaxson Morales
>FEATURE: Detailed tooltips on the progress and availability bars in the General button of each torrent. (Eugene Shalygin)
Oh, it shows which files are in which pieces.
Its a meme made by people trying to download torrents with 0 seed 0 peers
Dylan Jones
I'm and I have been using qBittorrent for years now and it never has failed me until now. I never got the stalling meme or anything.
Now I just get pic related after updating.
Luis Bailey
Huh, I just updated and it works same as before.
Justin Powell
I'm running Windows 7 if that makes any difference. I tried doing a fresh install of 3.3.5 and it still didn't work so I rolled back to 3.3.3 and that seemed to do the trick.
Nathaniel Edwards
Did anyone else get the windows smartscreen error?
Jaxson White
QSTALLEDMEME
Jason Myers
>Add option to automatically remove .torrent files Wait didn't it already do that? I don't think qbittorrent stored torrents if you removed them from your list like µtorrent does.
Joshua Johnson
qBittorrent will never be good.
Alexander Long
>Its a meme made by people trying to download torrents with 0 seed 0 peers
Actually, its not, Mr. Satan.
Bentley Turner
It seems you were trying to use a pirating app. This is in violation of our terms of service. But don't worry, user, Windows 10 has detected this problem and has disabled the bad app for you. You're welcome. Next time you want something, go to the Windows Store.
Thank you for using Windows 10.
Ayden Ward
THANKS BASED QBITTORRENT
Juan Sullivan
We've solved the "stalled" meme a thousand times.
It happens when a tracker hasn't whitelisted the new version of qBittorrent. Bakabt is particularly slow about whitelisting new versions, which is why cries of "stalled" pop up so frequently on Sup Forums. If you actually look at the tracker status it will tell you more, but everyone just looks at the torrent status, sees "stalled" and flips their shit. Bitch at your trackers to get it fixed.
Chase Jones
>still not updated in repositories
IS WAYNE BRADY GONNA HAVE TO COMPILE A CLIENT?
Aiden White
Just removed deluge and installed qBittorrent.
Xavier Morris
Same, well did it years ago really.
Deluge was #1 for a while, but now qBittorrent is the best.
Ethan Perry
>Its a meme made by people trying to download torrents with 0 seed 0 peers
that's not the case at all. it actually stalls randomly even with many seeds.
Jayden Scott
>It happens when a tracker hasn't whitelisted the new version of qBittorrent
Wrong. It happens on every tracker. Public or private.
Aiden Price
>it actually stalls randomly even with many seeds. >Wrong. It happens on every tracker. Public or private. There are several reasons a torrent might stall. The most relevant one for Sup Forums is bakabt (or another tracker) failing to whitelist new versions of the client.
But in general, a torrent might stall for any of the following reasons: >Your connections get rejected by other peers (trying to download from places that don't like to connect to your country) >The swarm doesn't like you for whatever reason (small number of seeds in initial seeding mode most commonly) >Your router is a gigantic piece of shit (very likely, consumer routers are trash) >Your ISP is a gigantic piece of shit (also likely, there's not an ISP in existence that's good) >Your shit is configured incorrectly (your upstream rate limit or UPnP/port forwarding is probably fucked) >Your network doesn't like traffic on whatever port you've got qBittorrent configured to use Or like fifty other things. Sup Forums lacks the knowledge to diagnose some of these issues and just blames the client. If it was an actual problem, you'd see similar issues in other libtorrent-based clients.
Ethan Sanchez
Sticking to v.3.2.4
All the newer versions I tried would fuck up all the time.
Nolan Cruz
The stalling bug was real and was confirmed by the project maintainer. Apparently, it had to do with UDP.
Here he is confirming that qBittorrent does sometimes stall and that 3.3.5 fixes it the UDP issue that causes it.
Well shit. Fair enough, I guess. I hadn't seen any evidence of people getting an entire list of stalled torrents before, so I had been writing it off as isolated configuration or network errors.
Christian Perez
Finally
David Long
qBloat
Christian Turner
Can you please fuck off and die already? 2 years later and still this stalled meme all the fucking time when qbittorrent is up. I never had any issues with stalled torrents whatsoever plus there has been some improvement fora few unlucky ones who had stalled torrents: see
Brandon Cooper
Have they fixed it so your torrents never disappear if the client crashes?
Mason Roberts
no
Lincoln Martin
yes, since 3.3.2
Alexander Ramirez
>using loonix
Connor Scott
>Being a micro cuckold
Tyler Young
>not using utorrent 2.2.1 Enjoy your stalling qcucks
Brayden Rodriguez
Sorry I don't want literal backdoors in my system
Camden Watson
>using a torrent client full of exploits >on windows
Wow, you microcucks really love being cucked
Oliver White
>not understanding the meaning of the word "literal" Stop abusing this word, or I will literally hack you to pieces ;)))
Grayson Taylor
There is only one known exploit that works for 2.2.1
Grayson Bailey
When are they going to fix the bug where Qb ignores the max connection number and just spams 4000 connections?
John Cooper
utorrent 221-350KB qBloat-15MB Both have the same features.
>The stalling bug was real and was confirmed by the project maintainer. >Apparently, it had to do with UDP.
>Here he is confirming that qBittorrent does sometimes stall and that >3.3.5 fixes it the UDP issue that causes it.
Josiah Lopez
use fucking picotorrent
Nathaniel Gutierrez
>tfw felt for the qBitstalled meme
Parker Jackson
>all these memesters Fuck off, qBittorrent is the best client
Dylan Rodriguez
S T A L L E D A L L E D
Landon Jenkins
Don't you have some stickers to lick? Fuck off already
Nathaniel Ward
tried qbittorrent once, torrents kept stalling, what a meme. I just use utorrent 2.21 and it works fine
Xavier Scott
>having shit hardware/connectivity ayy never once had a stalled torrent, been using qBT for years
Sebastian Baker
Same here, that literally never happened to me
Henry Sullivan
>Not using utorrent like any professional computer Sup Forumseteran would
Ryder Barnes
qBittorrent does not connect to every tracker at once like uTorrent does that would probably be why
Isaiah Davis
That torrent has one tracker.
>never once had a stalled torrent qBittorrent shows STALLED whenever you're not connected to anyone. It shows that when you first load a torrent. So exactly who are you trying to fool?
Nathan Sanchez
I connected to 12 with qbt, I noticed that there were only 11 at 100%... Just get out of here you weirdo.
Gavin Taylor
>qBittorrent shows STALLED whenever you're not connected to anyone. It shows that when you first load a torrent. So exactly who are you trying to fool? Not that guy but it never showed STALLED when I used it
Ethan Davis
Fucking this. All these goddamn Wintards who don't even know how to configure basic options in a program can fuck off.
Justin Reed
>>stalled This literally only happens when your connection is fucking garbage.
Austin Thompson
then start using it on fucking windows 10 you degenerate fag, aka:it works for me.
Xavier Collins
>Wintard I use Windows and i never had a stalled torrent either
Samuel Gonzalez
What you don't know, doesn't bother you, eh.
Evan Mitchell
>Picomeme
no
Caleb Roberts
>connect to 1 leecher. Still doesn't understand the nature of the issue qBittorrent users, people
Jack Wright
Nigga what? I'd rather wait for it to get tested instead of jumping on recent qB. 3.3.3 was fucking garbage and I stayed on 3.3.2 until it was update to 3.3.4 on apt repos.
Luis Ward
I've posted this before, but I think it was a Windows problem. 3.* completely fucked me over on Windows 7 and I was actually getting stalled torrents. Reverting to 3.2.5 was the only option. It works on Linux however, I'm on 3.3.4 on Debian testing with no problems.
Carson Jackson
Literally every torrent client works on *nix just fine, the problem is Windows with it's archaic API's and the lack of maintainers for the ports
Ryder Flores
>plebs here not using Tixati
Elijah Ward
>qstalledmeme
Charles Green
if you actually checked the image then you'd notice 6.1.7601 which means it's W7 SP1
Grayson Cook
Stalled meme is based on true facts, or was a couple of years ago. Lots of people had problems with it, while other torrent clients worked fine. It's probably fixed now. I've switched to Transmission for windows when utorrent turned to shit after trying out a bunch of clients. Very happy with it
Hunter Morris
How do you deal with no RSS? That is, unless they already implemented it?
Colton Hernandez
?
Asher Robinson
im a complete fucking retard now that we have that out of the way why should i use this instead of deluge?
Eli Fisher
some of this
Cooper Kelly
Don't use it honestly, there's plugins you can use, desktop and web interface version.
Jaxon Ward
I don't use RSS because that is useless to me.
Camden Martinez
Are partfiles enabled when using with libtorrent 1.1.0?
Mason Davis
>stalled DELETE THIS
Luis Bennett
staying on 3.3.4 call me when it stops looking like shit
Jose Jenkins
there's a number of different things that cause the "Stalled" status, it's a generic message that shows up any time the torrent isn't active
Jonathan Miller
>Oh, it shows which files are in which pieces. bloat. it has no useful value what so ever. the dev think people sit and look at stupid intel while its downloading.
>Hadouken he (the dev) is doing picotorrent on the side. it has potencial, its missing some features but its still in an development state.
