Nice, total ssd conversion looks great!

Have fun building, seen you post in quite a few of these. You deserve it friendo.

The sag

...

9/10 cause it feels empty af

Bentium/10

Watery/10

Sag/10

10/10 i really like it, would only remove that stupid republic of gaymers logo

Spaguetti/10

Smooth/10 i like it too

...

I think it looks ok.

user, where are your poo fans?

nice user, what case?

Got an insane deal on a motherboard today. Very happy. Deciding on a CPU and RAM kit now. The M1 is starting to me taken apart.

Is your front HDD cage removeable? You might be better off removing it and placing a 5.25" -> 3.5" adapter in. Would make the PC look a bit cleaner.

Interesting.

Bretty gud

Countertop

Quite a few SSD's you got there.

This is saddening.

>Poo in the loo fans
I like it.

This screams 2010/2011 and I like it.

2spooky

Two different RAM sticks, eh?

...

Heh, was waiting for that. got one 4gb stick in my barebones tiger direct build in 2011. I think 2 years later a 4gb stick at best buy was like $20 so I got what they had.

lern2airflow.

>Is your front HDD cage removeable? You might be better off removing it and placing a 5.25" -> 3.5" adapter in. Would make the PC look a bit cleaner.
Sadly it's not, and I'd have to cut new tubing and drain the loop and... Works well enough right now.
I don't even know what's up in your pic, not familiar with that case. But it looks neat as fuck.

...

Nothing wrong with it! If it works, why bother changing it.

I gotcha. Like I just said, if it works, don't bother changing it.
Also, this is the case with the radiator removed. It mounts to the side.

>LED Edition

not sure if i'm digging this nzxt hue+ I just installed, what do you guys think?

Tell us about the deal.

I like the Hue+ kit a lot. Though I've heard the software is currently a tiny bit buggy.

I think it looks good, but, if you're using multiple strips it might look better to only have strips over two sides of the case. Circling the entire interior looks strange sometimes because there's no shadows or dark spots.

I just noticed my heatsink is slightly crooked. What the fuck how have I not noticed it for this long.

I feel disgusting.

I noticed fairly quickly that the software isn't completely functional, but when it does work it's pretty neat.

I'll mess with some different configurations, and hopefully it grows on me.

You don't have to take it off to fix it. Run a cpu stress test and as its running go ahead and twist the heatsink straight.

My friend was planning on making himself an X99 build. He bought the motherboard and a few other parts he planned on using, but, recently got in an accident. Having to buy a new car, he sold off the parts he bought to fund the car, and decided to wait a few years before upgrading/building a new PC.

He sold me his brandy-new, unopened ASUS Rampage V Edition 10 for $300. About half the price of it's normal retail value. Can't complain with that. Tested it today, and going to check if the BIOS is up-to-date.I want a broadwell-e CPU, and, I'd imagine since it's an X99 refresh board it supports them out of the box, but, I need to just double check that first before selling my 5820K.

>Shitty phone picture from a broken camera.

A lot of those coolers don't sit perfectly straight. I think it's something about how the mounting mechanism that mounts from the tower to the board can get put on slightly crooked.

It had a BIOS update the other day and the BIOS from mid may adds support for the Broadwell-E/EP cpus.

I appreciate the advice but that just sounds wrong to do.

>This screams 2010/2011 and I like it.

Yeah the core is 2011, gpu, case, hdd and psu are circa 2013. Love your build btw, obvious 10/10

>Tfw i fell for the no upgrade meme

>Mid may
Has the board been out that long? I thought it was a BW-E refresh and pretty darn new.

If it's just a few degrees off, and not what I mentioned before, he's right and you may be able to fix it with a real warm CPU when the paste is goo-ey.

The release BIOS is from early may, there was an update mid-may, then it got another update like last week.

This is the root of the problem for sure.

It's sounds wrong but feels oh so right once she's straight again. My hyper 212's heatsink moved around just a tad when I first installed it. Trust me you'll be fine.

Yeah, I just looked at them. They say stability improvements, so, I think it doesn't add BW-E support, and comes with it natively. On the product page they advertise a 1.4GH+ overclock on a 6950X, bringing it to 4.4GHz. So, I'm guessing it's got native BW-E support.

alrighty then... turned off all my fans and running prime 95. I'll post an update if it works.

>Turned off fans
I don't really think that's necessary. Even if you got it up to say like 50C that'd likely be enough to easily wiggle the cooler.

so exhaust fans are basically backwards fans?

>Exhaust fans are basically backwards fans
No... They're fans mounted to push air out of the case.

Yeah it's still not budging. It's fine. I want to get a cheap i5(k) processor sometime this year anyway. I'll make sure it's straight next time.

Might be better off waiting for Skylake. I don't know if the 6#### series is really worth the jump.

What do you think about Zen? I read somewhere that it's core performance could be similar to Haswell. So theoretically you could have an 8 core Haswell tier cpu.

Is that believable?

Anything is possible I suppose. I shy away from AMD and it's not because of the CPU's but because I feel AMD boards are always less quality compared to the Intel boards.

...

...

Post benches you faggot

worth the price of the case?

...

...

...

Thanks

Case is a corsair 400c

I depooped them with cooler master silencio 2400rpm's.

Fire hazard.

Why? My GPU turned off 2 days ago and I saw sparks coming from the VRMs. It was dust I cleaned it and it works again.

would look better if you tidied up the wiring a bit.

It's temporary, I think. I want a 1070 but not willing to spent 500 € on it where the EVGA ACX models aren't even avaiable yet. These bequiet cables suck.

Why are you running that 650? Borderlands 2? I once installed my GT530 and it gave me noticable frame boosts with Physx turned on.

i5-6600k, R9 380 (looking to upgrade to a 1070 hopefully)

...

Ah I gotcha. I have Borderlands 2 but never played it much since I don't have anyone to coop with, but ya I installed it for a PhysX card and to run one of my analog monitors off of.

First shot at building a pc, finished it a few weeks ago.

this is terrifying. The scariest guts I've seen in my life.

What case is that?

Apevia xqpack3

That's counter intuitive

Add ReptiloidGod
I tried to play it with others but then played it alone since they never did more than one evening with me.

I could need help with True Vault Hunter Mode.

I sent you a request, re downloading Borderlands 2 right now since I haven't played since I built my new PC.

if you have a r9 290 then we have the same rig and gpu

...

...

that fucking sag jesus christ, can you post with a trip so I can filter you?

How/Why?

how do you handle the sag?

this is for anyone to answer....

ignore it unless something actually stop working.

Lanparty box.

thats pretty cute, wish i had one.

wish i had friends who wanted to lan on pc in addition to consoles

thank you and good luck in search of better friends. :3

speccy

Hello New Op
Pretty nice, Why isn't the GPU in the top slot?
>new pc in like two weeks ayyy
you still using the kitchen counter case?
saggy. Decent cabling though
Nice. How is the 400c?
b8
>falling for the animoo in case meme
if I'm being picky the picture is a bit dark, but apart from that lovely build, good to see someone Using M-ATX in the proper way (instead of because its the cheapest, like me)
why are those CPU fans zip-tied
surely the GPU gets bottlenecked
Blue and edgy. And another 400c, those seem to be popular. Good cabling, but take a picture with natural light if you can
gonna miss seeing ITX, what are you doing with the M1 case?
>that sag
looks good but just fucking prop it up with lego or some shit
atleast we'll always have this ITX. As good as ever
>Noticed my heatsink is crooked
think how I feel, it doesnt fit in my case so it almost falls off when I put the side panel on, not helping that it's hot glued in on one corner
Nice build though
Nice deal
post 480 benches
Nice rig, where you from to get the 480 early?
clean that spaghetti up
Nice rig
what case you using? cabling is alright for the case
as nice as ever user, the red fans throw it off though
spaghetti, nice crabs
jesus fucking christ thats not GPU sag thats GPU gymnastics
what are temps like? Im assuming its a a8 or a10 in there

Sideways angle glamor shot for my midrange budget box.

Put like a pièce of carboard or a ziptie i dont know but fix it before it is too late

How is my spaghetti monster b8 m8?

You gotta fag it up more, senpai. Only then will you have mastered the HUE+

Might as well just keep the 5820K, it's not like Broadwell is any faster, especially not enough to justify the price bump.
