My computer won't shut down

>my computer won't shut down
>why
>oh right, I installed Qshittorrent and it left a bugged process that refuses to close
>this just the latest of many bugs I ran into
Torrent client shilling thread.

I've literally never had a problem with qbit

>Using Windows
I've had zero (0) problems with qBittorrent on GNU/Linux in over 4 years.

>works on my machine

Never happened to me

I use it on Windows 7 and have no problems with it either. I have no idea what these people are doing.

>using meme clients

>being a public tracker pleb

Using bittorrentpro 7.9.5
no ads, always works well, qbit and deluge are shit in comparison

>sharing files in some silly club instead of with everyone

I keep hearing people shit all over Qbitorrent

I use it because it has the feature to specifically choose what network adapter to read from.
So you choose your VPN virtual adapter, and if your VPN goes down it wont start trying to load your real network adapter potentially leaking your ip.

Are there other clients that have that same feature?

Also whats the Stalled meme about?

Its worked fine enough for me that I havent changed over, but im not loyal to it.

I didn't do that for me until I updated it. Now it's best to just close qbittorrent before shutting down the computer for me otherwise it stalls and won't shutoff right away

so is there a decent place to get it from? I need to update but fosshub looks gross

Your distribution's repositories

Sounds like your qBittorent stalled. Just restart it to correct whatever issues.

>wanting to screen out bugged and unsafe material from your tracker
oh wait, that's a good idea

Wouldn't restart either.

Never had any problems with qbit expect the stalling thing which happened with only one torrent.

Use Task Manager to end the qBittorent task. qBittorent will prevent your computer from shutting down until you get a certain ratio.

>it left a bugged process that refuses to close
>it left a bugged process that refuses to close
>it left a bugged process that refuses to close

I've never had this issue on multiple laptops and multiple versions of Windows (7/8/8.1/10)

Companies should make "haven't experienced a bug" report sections so people can post useless bullshit like this desu.

>kill explorer.exe
>start new task, explorer.exe

Fixed

Sounds too vague to discern what was being communicated.

Great, post this fix on the Qbittorrent bug report for this if it actually works.

I've been having problems with qbittorrent since the latest update too. It doesn't seem to be closing properly. Most of the time, after closing it, it won't open again that unless I reboot, and when I try to reboot it can take several minutes because of it.

Problem is, I'm seeding ~250 torrents so it's too much of a pain to switch over to Deluge or something.

µTorrent 2.2.1

Using 3.3.5 on W10 . No problems whatsoever. OP must be a faggot

it stalls sometimes, but for me it manages to continue loading again when it happens
