Why would you ever buy anything but gigabyte?

Why would you ever buy anything but gigabyte?
They make the best cards and boards, they make the best coolers, they overclock great.

And they look fly as fuck.

>fly
Summerfag detected

Terabyte is where it's at

ASUS cards have great cooling and look great too

I don't know why anyone would buy anything but Gigabyte.
>eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
They're a very good company and I've personally never had any problems with them before.
>eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Their graphics cards are high end, and don't suffer from any obvious gimping like XFX.
>EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
They also don't overwork your motherboard's PCIe slots like Asus.
>EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>Asus

Bump

I've had no complaints with their products over the years, unlike Abit and ASUS. They're a comfy brand.

I'm trying to remember the details of the recent MSI/ASUS scandal where they were sending sample review cards with overclocked BIOS relative to their retail cards...anyways, the review was comparing those two along with a Gigabyte card and Gigabyte was the only one which delivered what it said on the packaging.

It was like a 25mhz oc, get over it.

I bought a gigabyte board, the fan controller is absolute garbage

Yep, they tried to get an extra 25MHz over Gigabyte and it ended up costing them more than it was worth. Thanks, user.

I don't give a shit

I buy whatever fills my needs in the long run and it's cheaper, fuck brand loyalty.

FUCK YOU TOO PAL

thanks you too

yep, have first gigabyte mobo myself and that shit is horrible

>Gigabyte
How about no. Sapphire or EVGA only.

Asus > Gigabyte > MSI > sapphire > XFX > EVGA

10/10

Really bad idea to buy yellow lights. They channel more electricty to the gpu to overclock it but many people don't tune properly for it. Get a nice blue to keep it cooler or if you have enough fans green for speed.

>asus

>statistically the worst PCB
>loudest stock performance
>cheapest material used
>can't pull off edgy gamer design like MSI
>can't pull off tasteful gamer design like ASUS
>can't pull off professional design like XFX or EVGA
>doesn't even have niche design like Zotac

Just big ugly and cheap.

Fucking even rigging a reference card with Noctua fans is better than that shit.

>Asus at top
Eh... The Strix design was kind of nice. I would put EVGA higher on the list though unless you're Indian.

Since I've heard EVGA treats Indian consumers like garbage.

I would put it more in this configuration.

EVGA > ASUS > Sapphire = Zotac > XFX > PNY = Power Color > MSI > Gigabyte

That's based on research and experience and it ebbs and flows.

Nvidia

EVGA>ASUS>Zotac>MSI>Gigabyte>PNY

AMD

Sapphire>XFX>MSI>Power Color>ASUS>Gigabyte

Gigabyte has and always will be shit.

Is it a meme/board culture to hate on gigabyte?

Their windforce cooler is fantastic for temps
I've heard they're top 3 for motherboards too just behind asus

Gigabyte shill pls go

I'm not, I had an Asus board before and currently msi
And gpu I have an evga and gigabyte card in sli
Memes aside, just want serious discussion, it's been my impression that they make good aftermarket cards. Their windforce series anyway
Does anyone have evidence that shows this isn't the case?

On the Nvidia side the make the best cards with the best PCBs and power phases but on the AMD side they suck, poor cooling and locked voltage.

I guess they don't really care about the AMD market enough when everyone is going to buy Sapphire.

>EVGA and Gigabyte in SLI
triggered

They're 980 tis
I picked the gigabyte one used after pascal price drops for muh 4k
I've been trying to swap the evga for the same gigabyte model on kijiji and throw in 20$ but no luck :(

>They also don't overwork your motherboard's PCIe slots like Asus.

No one will fight you on that.

Never buying asus again, I'm terrified to overclock my gtx960 because of that review, what if the spikes go up to 350w or higher ;_;

Gigabyte cards are good in my experience, never should have deviated.

>amaze gtx 260
Solid gpu, horrible overclocker.
>gigabyte hd5870
Great card, average overclocker, relatively low temps
>gigabyte gtx 670
Fantastic card, decent overclocker, ran cool, ran quiet, loved it.

Donated that 670 to my brothers build to buy the 970, but then decided I didn't really need more than a 960

>strix 960 on sale
Snapped it up and so much regret.

Can confirm, gigabyte has great qc and durability
