Why do they suck so bad? >never meating pcie spec on any card >overheating pieces of shit >literally homefires >no drivers >stupid driver overhead issue for their nonexistent driver updates >relying on a botnet just to lag a few frames behind nvidia
Have they done anything right ever? And don't get me started on their CPUs
>never meating pcie spec on any card I would certainly hope they don't meat anything.
>overheating pieces of shit >literally homefires I thought we were talking about AMD not nvidia.
>.*
So what's it like being a shill? And why did they remove the "commercial spam / advertizement" report option on this site?
Zachary Kelly
>never meating pcie spec on any card >never meating >meating >amd is housefire meme >no drivers meme that hasn't been relevant since 2009 >being this much of a newfag >being this underage
Brandon Brooks
AMD still has no drivers, Just ask every hd6000 series owner when their last update was.
Nolan Nelson
Is there any more proof of Nvidia shilling than this poorly put together Rajeet post?
Ian Parker
>mfw it's probably a kid shilling nvidia for free
Levi Miller
>homefires Gotta update my filters
Henry Hernandez
Commits get merged to Mesa by AMD on Linux every few hours la I think even decade old cards are still maintained
Xavier Allen
>Linux >Mesa So you're saying I have to use an obscure OS just to receive driver updates from random neets living in their basements which will be worse than the outdated shit on windows? Fuck off.
Benjamin Perry
...
Justin Ward
I use it for work. Which other OS can run LXC containers with ZFS snapshotting for VMs exactly? That plus PCI passthrough over KVM. Or the super useful bash scripts. Or the super great package management, along with package containerisation. Also I don't want to pay 200$ per system to run a substandard hypervisor on a rubbish OS. Infact I'm aiding a few companies to move away from it.
>just to receive driver updates from random neets living in their basements False. AMD engineers and developers are working extensively on the Linux drivers, which even has Vulkan support now.
Justin Parker
>tfw you are a windows user
Benjamin Hall
Winkid BTFO
Ian Lopez
>Linux >work Yeah compiling that shit kernel every few hours for your new gpu updates must be a lot of work, I can see how you would mistake it for employment with an that autism.
Camden Ortiz
Eh? I automatically get kernel updates from Proxmox Enterprise repo. Doesn't even take more than a few minutes to install. The Debian backports has the latest kernel for free I think.
Ryan Phillips
Sure showed him, unemployed basement dweller.
Eli Adams
Oh god, that hair, those fucking folds of fat. I'm gonna puke.
Jordan Brown
D-don't judge
Benjamin Bell
Also >I can see how you would mistake it for employment with an that autism.
Wyatt Martinez
>AMD still has no drivers, Just ask every hd6000 series owner when their last update was. March 2016 Honestly 6 years of support ain't much to complain about.
Owen Ramirez
>tfw the memes are true
Elijah Jenkins
Reminder: These threads keep popping up because Nvidia is scare of losing marketshare back to AMD.
If the RX 480 wasn't a threat, no one would bother shitposting about it.
Charles Morris
wow. the hair. who ever made that is a true artist
Colton Thomas
this
Jace Wood
this a million times this
I was going to wait for non-reference cards or a price drop (Canada), but now I'm worried abut availability. I haven't seen nvidia shills going this hard since the 6990.
I'm going to pick one up once I can confirm AMD's Linux driver supports it.
Jaxson James
mmm
meating.
Camden Hill
Tribalism doesn't stop when you own ~75% of the market. These are just fanboys who made their purchasing decision a part of their personal identity. Market share doesn't matter to them, they just hate AMD.
Lucas Garcia
Unless it's AMD shills trying to make it seem like there are Nvidia shills.
That's a bit too meta tho
Eli Peterson
It can't even compete with a 970, the fuck you on about?
As far as I know it competes pretty well with the 970 with the exception of the stupid pixel rate for supporting higher resolutions.
For 1920 x 1080 though it's it's going to be great competitor.
Brody Long
>GTX 970 >4GB RAM
Post correct specs you lemming
Jose Miller
It's Ok when the GTX960 does it.
Jace Gonzalez
It is 4gb.
No, that's just asus.

Just pretend it says 3584MB I don't feel like editing it.
Asher Cox
Why no fighting then? It seems that there are a few cards that do this.
Hudson Walker
I have a radeon hd 6850 still full driver support and my brothers old 6750 isnt even at legacy drivers yet. Last driver was the latest crimson about 7 days ago so stfu if you dont know what your talking about.
Dylan Collins
Fighting? So far we have >strix 960 pulling up to 250w from pcie >750 ti pulling up to 120w >rx480 pulling up to 110w? 295x2 pulling way more from power connectors than it should
It's even.
Why do people feel the need to lie on the internet? AMD publicly stated the crimson beta was the final update for legacy cards.
Brandon Hill
Awesome then my next gaming pc will be zen based Linux with a rx 480...My Windows 10 pc should be ready to be replaced when zen drops.
Benjamin Cruz
The 6800+ isnt in legacy yet thats what im saying.
Lincoln White
>never meeting pcie spec who cares? lol >overheating pieces of shit Don't buy the reference cooler idiot >literally homefires Show me one documented case where this happened >No drivers They've been updating the drivers for every major game release and fixing their bugs. >driver overhead Doesn't matter, dx12 is here >relying on botnet just to lag a few frames behind nvidia wat?
2/10 trolling. try harder nigger.
Sebastian Gutierrez
>my next gaming pc will be zen based Linux >gaming >linux
Jaxson Sanders
Yes it is. Anything that isn't GCN is legacy. My HD7670m is legacy. My 6870 became legacy so I upgraded to a gtx970.
Levi Nelson
Nah it's just the same business as with the 3.5 GiB card.
Noah Phillips
Because cow piss drinking pajeet poo loos have no idea what the fuck they're doing.
