Use it as a coaster.

make a bootable msdos disk which opens a series of cracktros on boot through autoexec.

Pretty sure it's fake, and it's just making fun of the whole "Japs are so behind in technology they still use floppies" thing.

I was in high school, I was stupid.

Welcome to the Dungeon © 1986 Brain

Make people bleed. The 5.25s were better for that though.

Just finished installing W95 off of them.

This was my night, got both of these beasts for free.

>Had to put your rum bottle in the shot
You should also put your pocket knife and pack of malboros while you're at it. Gotta show them super cool dudes on Sup Forums how relatable yet rad you are.

Wasn't a shot i took for Sup Forums.

Sent it to my friend, saying what my night would be. Some old laptops and some rum = a good night.

Just decided to post it here as well.

Don't be too jelly.

pic related. it's your lunch

Looks good to me.

Also, got 95 installed on one, other turned out to have a dud FDD.

Need to get another PS/2 mouse though, i had one that was a trackball but it doesn't seem to work anymore.

Store this picture of floppy disks. Or, get 28 more of them and install Windows 95.

This is real. Rev image search it. forgot where it's from.

>Stick first disk in
>Automatic Windows 10 netinstall

Are you me? I used to do the same thing...

Fake as hell. This is the real Windows 8.1 logo. Note a few key differences to what's printed on those floppies. The "Windows 8.1" text on the floppies is Arial while the real one is in Segoe UI. Notice how the 1 has a line under it, and the i's dot and the decimal point are rounder and further from their surroundings. The "window" logo is wrong too -- it's not as enough of an angle and there's too much space between the panes.

But there are 3.5" floppies that can handle up to 240 MB.

do you have a drinking problem?

Write a light novel.

I remember .arj and .zip

Store my NES ROMs on it. Still have my final fantasy 1 and dragon warriors 1 ROM floppies around, for nostalgia.

What are the specs of those laptops?

I think you guys should check

That's kinda awesome

Put TempleOSUltraRS.ISO.xz on it, leaving me with a few kilobytes to write a program that decompresses and boots it in RAM.

Get data on and off Australian Collins-class submarines, apparently.

Store a pic of your mom's pussy.

I actually understand why government agencies do this in some cases. There's a biology analyzer machine at my uni that's still connected to a computer running GEOS. It works, so no point in knockin' it.

Then again the IRS still uses mainframe computers from the 1960s because they never hired consultants to bring them into the 21st century.

Well yeah, anyone who really knows anything about computing, especially in vital applications, believes quite a bit in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". If you've got any sense you'll always have current plans of what to replace it with if it does suddenly break, though.

You're missing mouse.com

cut the magnet disk inside and put it inside a webcam instead of the infrared filter

allows you to see infrared light while blocking most of visible light

Comes with a boot disk if dos isn't already installed, think that's what's meant by it.

Yes.

One on the left is a Pentium 486 with I think 8mb of ram and I'm not sure on the hard drive size.

Other is a 386 with 1mb k board ram, a 4mb upgrade card, 40mb hard drive and a battery that actually still holds a bit of a charge. Wish I could say the same for the huge cmos battery though, which are long dead jn both.

Store three decent-sized MOD files.

>One on the left is a Pentium 486

wat

Err, you know what i meant.

Intel 486. Only realising now that i've always called them Pentium 486 for some reason, ever since i was a kid taking them apart with my dad. Probably something he had told me at some point.

Top gear's fallen so fucking far.

Are you replying in the right thread, bro?

Go h/o/me, you're drunk.

>Internet
>1988

I'd put a micro sd card in it and modify my floppy reader for it

You don't even need compression for that

XD

Prevent my coffee cups from leaving rings on my desk. An AOL CD is fine too.

Oh, cool, you 3D-printed the save icon!
