Buy apple

>buy apple
>you're guaranteed updates for forever
T-thanks Apple...

Nobody has ever said that, retard.

they did. IOS users throw shit at android because of updates, implying their products gets updates. And this delay of updates causing from phone companies, not google. If someone bought a nexus or installed cyanogenmod on their phone they wouldn't throw shit at android

>>buy apple
>>you're forced to update until your iToy becomes a laggy unusable brick

Fixed.

Ios shills say that all the time.

They didn't. However they provide upgrades for devices way longer than any Android phone gets. Neither the Nexus 4 nor the Samsung Galaxy S3 (both released in 2012) get the upgrade to marshmallow officially (without doing some custom ROMs).

>being forced to upgrade to the latest crippleware "update" or all your apps break and no longer work
>a good thing

Well shilled.

To be fair, people with android will search their respective phone name (samsung slow, galaxy slow, lumia slow, nexus slow)

And doing ios vs android is stupid cause most apple users dont even know their os name.

>app developers aren't allowed to use the new features an OS has specifically to make their apps even better
>never updating anything
must be a fun future to live in.

>even touchjizz with $100 galaxy A budget line are an order of magnitude faster than ios shit

As evidenced by user experience with iPhone, you would need to buy a new phone every second year regardless

Thanks, now your stats are scientific.

nice way to shill over to samsung. people dont look up samsung galaxy as in the whole name, they search for "galaxy slow" and "samsung slow". anyway, here is a graph of those three search terms cumulatively represented.

Thanks, now your anal devastation is legendary.

For me it was three years till my iPhone 4S gave out. Running an OS that requires way more resources than it was initially designed for will obviously make it slow down. A lot of people I know with the same device didn't upgrade and could still use the most popular apps.

>has to combine entirely of astrology results, touchjizz, AND samsung's budget galaxy line

>still nowhere near as shit as iOS

/thread

I'm still using my Nexus 5 on 6.0 though. It's still getting updates, and it'll keep getting updates till the new Nexus comes out iirc.

I use purity rom though so don't quote me on that.

>he doesnt know how statistics work
>he doesnt know that there are more people with iphones than samsung owners
>he thinks people look for galaxy slow to interpret that the whole universe is slow

youre making yourself look like a retard, please cut that out.

>same amount of owners
>samsungs include ultra budget tier STILL less lag than lagOS

Confirmed. Even Galaxy A shit is better than lagPhones.

Maybe they're just as laggy but iPhone users are expecting more from their "premium" devices

>can't read graphs
>thinks they have the same amount of owners
let me help you

Top kekkles

> He doesnt understand that a spike in the graph correlating to the release of a new iphone is bad

Fuck off shill

>iCucks literally forced to install crippleware or their apps will no longer work

I had one of those, it got stolen a little over a year ago.

I was forced to update to ios6 after it randomly rebooted and bricked itself one day. Lagged like fuck after the update until I over clocked it. Fucking apple..

You're guaranteed more firmware updates from the time that your device is "current" than Android. Also, you're going to get updates sooner no matter the carrier, and your apps are more likely to use newer OS features than Android.
However, your device isn't guaranteed to have every feature of the newer operating system, and in most cases the new operating system will run a bit more sluggishly. You buy an iDevice knowing what pros and cons matter to you.

Cum hoc ergo propter hoc

The iPod Touch 4th gen is made up of mostly iPhone 3 left over components.

>oy vey goyim you can't install angry birds on your phone because your os lacks ""innovative features""

Would you like to list one of those features?

IPhone 4s actually. CPU was 200mhz slower iirc

>ignoring those spikes during launches
>too stupid to realize that google trends' results don't include searches only from the US

Nope. The 4S has an A9. The iPod Touch 4th gen has an A8, the same as the iPhone 4 and 3G.

The iPod T4g also has 256MB RAM, same as the iPhone 3G.
It does have the same display as the 4S though.

>4S
>A9
what

IPhone 4 and iPod touch 4 have the apple a4 processor...

Sorry, ARM Cortex-A9.

Not to be confused with Apple naming their SoCs under the same scheme.

oh okay

I also confused your "iPhone 4s" with meaning iPhone 4S when it was just the plural of iPhone 4.

But then considering the iPhone 4 is mostly made of iPhone 3G left overs, it's the same diff. The iPhone 4 probably only got iOS7 because it has double the RAM of the 3G and iPod 4th gen.

No it isn't.

IPhone 4 and 4s got ios7, up till ios9.

IPod touch 4g with same specs as iPhone 4 didn't even see past ios 6.

iPhone 4 has 512MB of RAM, iPhone 4S has a better processor.
iPod Touch 4th gen has 256MB RAM and the same processor as the iPhone 4.

iPod Touch 4g is stuck on iOS6 because memory limitations, iPhone 4 is stuck on iOS7 because processor is a hunk of junk. iPhone 4S gets iOS9 because it is slightly less trash.

not really.
I mean, it's just about which sdks are used in apps.
same thing with android
most apps require a specific system version
as iOS' updates are adapted in a higher %, devs feel more inclined to use newer and newer apis.

iOS itself is really not bad.

iOS 9.3.2 (current) works beautifully on my iPhone 5s (released in 2013)
Some versions work better, but that is the case with all devices.
Just that Apple uses a control-sign-system, meaning you cannot install an older version of the OS after it's not signed by Apple directly (con of having centralized updates for ALL devices)

The iPod Touch 4G is essentially a cut down iPhone 4, same processor but half the memory.
iOS 7 would run like total shit on it.

That's wrong, though, I still have a device on iOS6.

i use an iphone 5 from 2012 with no service for general browsing and it's still plenty fast but i'm sure ios 10 will kill it since apple will not retire an old device with acceptable performance.

when apple stops updating an iphone it has to be bloated and unusable, it's always been this way.
