I cannot fucking believe how good this screen looks.

Fuck off rejeesh.

Mad lmao
Why would other people be mad that you eat shit from your hands? You're doing a service to your countrymen by cleaning up the designated shitting streets.

Posted from my MacBook
I can't wait until they start painting the keyboard on and the machine just jerks for each 'keypress'. They're only about .4mm away....

Apple still haven't figured out haptic feedback on phones, hopefully they get around to announcing that they invented it soon.
pls be fake
>shilling mac
>posting from windows pc
Personally never really liked the glossy screen, but whatever works for you I suppose (:
>I cannot fucking believe how good this screen looks.
lol, shit looks worse than Windows laptops though.
>TN panel
What kind of adapters do you have? Do you have USB 3.0 devices?
>when chinkshit is better than apelshit
Can I install Gentoo on it?
Aren't the touchpads on the MacBook haptic feedback?
Don't need any adapters. I haven't plugged anything into my home desktop in years.
Not so sure about that one mate
you forget how high quality the displays on high-end windows laptops are these days.
I remembered that they still don't beat retina displays
What's the point with that shit font rendering anyway?
It's "Rajeesh". Get it right so my filter works.
Awesome post, Pajeet. Fifteen rupees in your shill account.
~Apple Inc.
>they still don't beat
in what standards?
MacBook Airs have TN panels
yes
you're replying to the LG volt guy, a retard who spends his entire day on Sup Forums calling people "ipajeets"
Well shilled iPajeet!
OP photo isn't MacBook Air
Yeah, it's even worse.
1366x768 is at least usable. That utter fucking shit 0.1mm travel trackshit keyboard isn't.
macbooks and macbook pros do not however
There's three Macbooks:
Plain: worse than celeron piece of shit with the worst keyboard in the history of computing
Air: same 1366x768 TN piece of shit you find on $200 craptops, and it's glossy on top of that
Pro: if you try to use the high end hardware they cram into it, it catches fire
They're all utter shit, and only a moron would buy any of them.
A higher resolution means less usability?
Stop reposting your own posts.
they're still calibrated like shit
Shit meaning professional standards?
lol, bring me screen measurements that compare macbooks to windows laptops then.
>stop posting facts i don't like!!!11
Deal with it.
Why would I do that?
I've been considering picking one of these up, but the price is honestly ridiculous.
How do feel about the screen size and keyboard travel, those are the two things I'm not sure if I'd like. I think a 13 or 14 inch screen would suit me better than the 12 one that it comes with and the very short key travel may stop it from being my daily carry device. I was considering one of the ASUS Zenbook UX305 ultra portables with Linux instead, seems like it would give me what I'm looking for without the weird tradeoffs.
>ASUS Zenbook UX305
I use that right now, and I strongly recommend it. not sure if it'd work with Linux though
I agree with the price being too high, however I was willing to pay the premium for the build quality, screen, native OSX and trackpad. The battery life on these is also top shelf.
I don't have a problem with the travel but many do so my opinion might be an outlier.
In regards to the screen size it actually feels a little too small. This is my first notebook though so I'm gonna see how it goes. There's a 30 day return policy so if I dislike the screen size that much I'll return it.
>8 hours
>top shelf
Don't kid yourself Pajeet.
Yeah, if I could get somewhere between the two specs for like $900-1000, I'd jump on it. M5 processor and 256GB SSD would be perfect.
Just get an Apple efurbished one from a year or two back. Saves you a few hundred dollars and the hardware is very similar. In 2015 I bought a Late 2013 13" Macbook Pro / Retina. Hardware was damn near the same and worked like a brand new machine for around $400 cheaper than a new one.
>price is honestly ridiculous
seriously if you really want to use OSX, just go for a hackintosh. go to tonymacx86.com
you're only paying the extra $$$ for the A E S T H E T I C S
I'll take 10 hours of use over that monstrous 1368x768 piece of shit
Poo in the fucking loo Rajeesh.
mb meant to say OSX for around 3 years, but atm running El Capitan
>mactoddler has zero argument
>can only spew memes
Why you so mad? :^)
Why so street shitting? :^)
Feelsgoodman
I just found myself constantly looking for other options because of the high MacBook price and would always end up thinking I wouldn't be satisfied because of either the screen or trackpad or something else like non-fanless design (I really wanted fanless) so in the end I just jumped onto it.
Another thing you should keep in mine is resell value. Macbooks keep their value far longer than any other laptop hence why you see people selling 3 year old Macbook Pros for $1k.
The reason I mention this is due to the the fact that it makes upgrading a cinch in the future. Buy a macbook for like $1300. Resell it 2-3 years later for $1000, get a good upgrade for essentially $200-300. People always overlook this property.
>perpetually throttled to half performance
ayylmao
>mactards are so fucking poor they have to perpetually rent their laptops
0/10
>macfags are so poor that they care about resale value this much
Long term finance decisions generally aren't made by the poor.
>implying a low rate of depreciation is somehow a bad thing
Why is ASUS obsessed with that ugly shit brown color scheme?
>caring this much about saving money
>not buying $2000 computers and keeping them
Spotted the iPoorfag.
>being so poor you don't have disposable income
laptops aren't meant to be used long term anyway
If they're not meant to be used long term then that only makes the resale value of MacBooks a stronger point.
I know anti-mac trolls are stupid but this one has reached a whole new level of retarded.
Why not the better more powerful 2015 macbook pro? It's the same price.
I know mactard poorfags are poor, but this one has reached a whole new level of poorfaggotry.
>800mhz
>more powerful
No ports...
stronger point because you can't afford to buy a new laptop? ok there
Power != clock speed. It's a proper Core i series instead of a mobile Core M.
Because if you're going to be selling them in the short term then of course higher resell value is better. Use your head kid.
I love the size and weight of the macbook, but boy, the keyboard is awful and performance is not great for the money.
But who knows, it might be viable after 2 or 3 more generations of core-m processors and maybe something like adding haptic feedback to the keyboard to give the illusion of key depth.
Performance is perfect for the use case
Any laptop made in the last 6 years including walmart trash is perfect for the use case.
Not quite
Yes I get that, but it just means you're too poor
PAJEET MY SON
Since this is a macbook thread i guess, figure the new pros are going to skip skylake and launch q3/4 for Kaby Lake?
I love desktop threads.
>I remembered that they still don't beat retina displays
XPS 13 QHD.
Sauce?
I feel you, it was my reaction when I bought 2015 macbook. Fucking loved that thing
>less than 70% aRGB macshit screens
>even remotely good
I want mactard Pajeets to fuck off.
I quite liked the keyboard in rMB to be quite honest, and the is coming from long time thinkpad user. They key travel is short, but feedback from keyboard is really good. Nice and tactile
POO IN LOO
>I quite liked the keyboard in rMB to be quite honest, and the is coming from long time thinkpad user.
Am I right to assume that the new macbook pros will be wayy more expensive than current ones? Considering the new macbook costs the same price.
>implying they would actually give shills macs
This. Even Apple knows you can only do real work from Windows, like manufacturing Macs.
Still using a 2013 rMBP and I have never once regretted buying it considering the circumstances.
It was a snap decision. I was planning on getting a Surface Pro 3 to use for school, work, and general use when I randomly checked the price of a refurb MBP and realized it was about the same and decided to pick it up.
At the time I was actually one of the people who was vehemently anti-apple due to their prices to specification ration. While I'm not gonna deny that their shit is overpriced if you look at nothing but the specs of the hardware but honestly the build quality and software makes it worth it. A ton of dev tools at your disposal and some very handy apps. Plus I find myself loving OS X.
That's not mentioning that at the time I was ignorant to the fact that OS X had a fully functional bash shell. I was aware that it was UNIX-like but the fact that I have access to a large majority of the power of and applications of a Linux machine is just the icing on the cake for me.
Well shilled Pajeet! 2 rupees have been deposited in your designated shitting street!
I get rupees for telling a quick anecdote? How convenient!
perfect laptop for you then, as long as youre happy with your purchase.
>12"
Epic for the win, my fellow 9gagger.
For a company big as apple, its really strange how they manage to 'neglect' products.
They must have a design/engineering team working on pretty much everything and figuring out incremental updates, it would be pretty fucking insane if there was only one team, working on one product at a time under Ive's personal scrutiny.
So providing incremental updates for products that don't need a design overall should be a no brainer... but hey, i'm just a nerd who likes recent hardware, obviously i'm jot a jobsian genius.
>They must have a design/engineering team
Ex Apple engineer here. I worked on iOS devices but we didn't use OS X for anything but coding. There were certain programs we used for 3D modeling that only ran on Windows. The guys responsible for finding vulnerabilities used Linux and FreeBDS on HP and Thinkpad laptops. Overall OS X is similar enough to iOS to be useless for any real work you might have to do other than normie shit like spreadsheets, email, light web browsing, etc. Apple products aren't that bad for normies. They really do just work (as long as what you're trying to use is officially supported by Apple). You can easily install Windows on a Mac using bootcamp assistant if you were dumb enough to buy one.
