just get rid of that meme cpu cooler and use the stock one, it's stupid to get a aftermarket cooler on a locked cpu. replace that seagate with a 2tb hitachi, much more reliable and will get you right around 1000
also go here user for stuff like this

Skip the SSD. While they are, without a doubt, very damn nice it is not a necessity.
Find a cheaper case. Preferably one with fans included so you can skip the two extra fans.
Only things lost: longer loading and boot times, noise, a few degrees heat.

here
This too... no real need for aftermarket cooler if not overclocking.

THIS IS NOT YOUR PC BUILDING FORUM

FUCK OFF

:(
cheers lads, still want to stick with the ssd, but dropping the cooler and switching out the hard drive

>r9 390
nope, get gtx1070
scrap fans, scrap half the ram, scrap cpu heatsink
and you got budget for it

Why are you getting a z motherboard for a non k CPU

...

>Logitrash mouse
Don't waste your retarded Es on that.

even larger sum
fuck

People who are recommending the 1070 are ignoring the pricetag. Stick with the 390 or wait for non-reference cooler 480s.

>referring to pounds as bongs

Bongs are a unit of time, immigrant.

gtx1070 is great investment, ignore faggot about pricetag

absolutely terrible investment is going that hitachi, if the fucking HDD costs 3 times more its fucking terrible choice

your SSD will be doing most of the work, loading the systen, running theprograms, caching browsers, paging ram, everything... hdd will not be taxed you dont fucking need enterprise HDD... if you think you need to invest in to storage redundancy then get later NAS and mirror few HDDs
dont blow your budget now on bullshit...

with important data you should never trust single HDD, and if you dont trust single HDD then theres no point in pissing away money on overpriced hitachi... check backblaze data if you want to dive in to this.. but use brain, numbers, prices, understand that they actually use it in data centers...

close enough

just get everything save the gpu if you can't in one go, since that chip had integrated graphics you should be able to hold out until you can get a 1070 or just rip out whatever you have now. It's worth it to get a 1070 as the upper nvidea cards always have long lasting staying power, my 780 ti is still enough for anything 3 years later

>if the fucking HDD costs 3 times more its fucking terrible choice
the original choice he had was a seagate that had half the size, Hitachi also completely blows seagate and almost every other company save WD and a couple others out of the water on reliability. Your 100% on getting backups of course, spending a bit more on a hitachi is better then the increased risk and hassle that a drive failure can be.

rx 480 or r9 390/390x are more than enough for 1080p60hz

also swap the motherboard to an asrock/asus z170 for nonK blck overclocking. still works on older mobo bios revisions

:(
that dell monitor was really good one
flawless reviews, you should really not skimp on it
tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2414h.htm

thats the thing you will be looking at all the time

scram those £20 fans, you dont fucking need them, seriously
1. theres nothing really producing that much heat
2. you are in fucking england, with 2 warm weeks in august and then its back to 15-20 whole year

things you can buy later you skimp on.. need fans? buy fans..
need better gpu or better monitor... cant do shit about it, you already got sinked money in them

maybe if your budget is really that tight you might want to wait month for prices to settle and buy RX480/gtx1060
like this annon says.. for this resolution its really a lot of performance if any faggot speaks about seagate, hitachi and wd as if fucking one single brand covered all their HDD offerings you know he is a huge faggot who knows shit about shit...

cheaping out on a motherboard is not a good idea, couldn't you cut the monitor out? don't you have a old one or even a tv lying around? could use that to go towards a better psu and mobo.

r8 dont h8
pcpartpicker.com/list/76FKBP
Also is that monitor good? I just googled cheap 1440p monitors and that kept showing up.

fuck off moron
cheaping on mobo is one of the best things you can cheap out on
expensive mobo can shit on you, cheap one can shit on you..
mobos are complicated, and if you need to choose between $140 and $60 to save $80 to put that money in to something better like ssd, gpu, cpu, case,... those money are better there

check if mobo has solid caps, digital video output, and dont plan to OC much and you can take cheap mobos

ignored the monitor on that pic i changed it

1. wait for gtx1060 reviews
2. would go for micro case, would be lovely
3. $90 on psu, $74 on ram, half both of them and you get 500GB SSD
4. why do people buy 1TB 7200rpm hdds for $50 all the time? I find it strange, why not 2-3 TB? or why nothing? add that $50 to the ssd above and you got crucial mx300 - 750GB SSD. what a lovely lovely day

B150 if youre not planning to overclock

Diff btween the 6500 and the 6400 is 3% performance. Just take the 6400.

Sapphire rx480 is releasing soon. Get this one instead.

Case is shit

>seagate hdd
>sandisk ssd
Nigga...

Are you trying to make a silent pc? If not take hyper 212 evo instead of that noctua.

Arc Mini R2

Buy parts from smaller, less knows e-shops. Usually the biggest ones are jews. Saved over 100€ on my PC by doing this.

>1070 card
>60 hz monitor

its like having a 1000 hp car and only driving in first gear
