Can i use emojii's for salts?

Someone watched Computerphile this week.

Is this new cause I got a question to ask. I need help with my headset and xbone pls. Currently I've got my headset (input/headphone pin) connected to my monitor and I'm thinking of connecting my mic pin into the monitor also to communicate in the xbox live party. Will this work? If not, what alternatives do I have?

Constantly renamed threads...CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN!

hi /sqt/

i'm looking for a program or something that i can use to view multiple sources of online video simultaneously, a video wall for a lack of a better term. preferably only one audio would play depending on the video screen i click. i'll use this to stay on every news channel since there's a violent military coup going on atm

though i kinda need a quick answer since there are jets zooming above me for the last 4 hours so idk if the internet will hold on. thanks.

These threads have been going back and forth between small and stupid question threads for years, newfag.

guys pls help.

You've waited 10 minutes, fuck off

Eat a dick

Will learning math also help with programming?

Whats a good encryption program? Also whats a good cloud based service to use outside of your own? I want to back up some images that really don't matter to me.

Mega is not optional.

Does dropbox scan for shit like lolicon or some shit?

To write code that solves certain types of problems, it's essential. For other types of code, anything beyond basic algebra would be basically useless.
If you're interested in, e.g. digital signal processing or graphics programming, the more math the better, probably.

It's a simple question, I shouldn't need to wait an hour for it.
I've posted on wsr already.

>I shouldn't need to wait an hour for it.
Well arent you mr entitled.

If you are worried about file privacy, don't use cloud providers.

I'm not really worried about that just don't want some shit to happen if I accidentally upload lolicon.

You should need to wait as long as it takes for someone to answer you. You're no more entitled to an answer than anybody else itt, you piece of shit.

>posted on wsr already
Then I guess Sup Forums isn't your tech support. We're not your servants or your mom. Go try reddit.

"accidentally"

well... I download lots of shit what if one of my waifus triggers one of them?

Then get a home cloud storage device or set up an old pc as a server and quit downloading CP

Please help i need to access or havk free internet, asap. How to best go about this? I use an android tablet device. BTW i wouldn't normally do this but i just got retrenched from work because of affirmative action (i am not complaining though, we need to make right the wrongs of apartheid). I am based in South Africa and i use the vodacom network. A i will like to notify that i am not a slacker as i am currently looking for a job in the private sector and abroad in the arab gulf countries as well. Thank you

I just read xkcd's comics the past weeks

Its not CP faggot!

Whats a good mkv player to use?

quick question....... been trouble shooting this for a couple hours.. When I press my power button the light turns on but NOTHING else starts up except the fan that turns for half a rotation and then stops. No sounds at all. Is my PSU dead? All signs point to that but how would my power button be turning on if the PSU is dead? Thanks guys.

What's the best alternative to the RX 480 for $75-200? I'm trying to get a video card as soon as possible but the RX 480 isn't being sold anywhere (that I'm aware of) for $200 currently. Used or New is fine. I don't care if it's old as dirt as long as I can play Dota 2 at Maximum settings 60+ FPS.

Just the standard players. MPC-HC or VLC

Hey Sup Forums
1.is it possible to flash over a windblows phone and put on android?
2. someone said there's a pdf on how to hack wifi but I can't see google letting that in the search engine. Any one know where I can find this?

i have no experience with any of those

which do you prefer and why?

It's not a matter of entitlement. I'm just asking a simple question which shouldn't need a lon time to respond. It's like a kid asking what's 2+2 and you take an hour to respond. If I asked something issue I was having setting up RAID on my NAS it would make perfect sense if someone didn't respond for 2 hours because it's a very specialised problem. No need to be butthurt about it anons.
Just asking cause someone will have experience with it. I don't understand why you feel as though you're a servant.

logicalincrements.com/games/dota2/

Aparently you could get by on a 750ti. Aim higher tho.

If it is so easy, that we should know right off the bat, why did you not solve it your self?
I would give raid/nas priority over your post anyhow.

What are you using, window media player? Those are like THE standard. Get VLC. Live the easy life my son.

I have a question about Copperhead OS for anyone that knows about such things. I would like to install it on my device, but my device is an HTC One M8 (from Sprint, if that is relevant), which is not an officially supported device. I was wondering if it would be possible to follow some of the steps here copperhead.co/android/docs/building and just try putting in some of the device-specific code from Cyanogenmod as documented here wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_m8#Prepare_the_device-specific_code . I have some knowledge of how to compile things and stuff like that, but I would not be able to do this if it requires extreme knowledge of this stuff. Does anyone know if this is possible with only a moderate skillset?

>If it is so easy, that we should know right off the bat, why did you not solve it your self
>Just asking cause someone will have experience with it
Reading comprehension mate.

>R9 380
Looks like it's exactly at around $200, gonna check out some benchmarks and research the card versus the RX 480. Thanks user

Yea Dota 2 doesn't require much, but I think I can do better than the 750 Ti, as my budget goes up to $200. Thanks

In your divine glorius technology knowledge, you should already know this, if it is as easy as you claim it is, Why would you need lowely mortals opinion, when you have vast more knowledge then we peasents could ever have.

>following comment chain faggot

So i've been into computing for a little while, now found out I've inherited 3 new-ish computers. One gaming rig, one linux server and something else. As well as my own linux laptop.

Anyone got any fun ideas to do with this stuff? What would you do?

Anyone got any experience with disposable phone numbers? Preferably via some online site.

can someone recommend me a prebuilt pc that will run megadimension neptunia vii??

I still don't think you get it. If you're asking people for help, you're supposed to be NICE to them. And wait your turn. Say it with me...

Nice...not...douche
Nice...not...douche

Verrry good. Now next time you have a problem, rather than shouting for a cookie like you do with your mommy, I want you to take three deep breaths and pretend that you're not the only person in the world. See how that works out for ya.

Anyone know when the Asus Transformer 3 comes out? I heard it comes out in the UK in August, but nothing about its release here in the states.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I needed something that could handle sms.

No they haven't. If anyone is the newfag it's you, since it's only been some retard pushing "small" for the past week or two.

The only other exception is when some idiot tried to change it to "QTDDTOT" or some shit like that (Questions that don't deserve their own thread) but thankfully that died out.

Should I watch the office?

I recently upgraded to a Fury, and I just started getting full reboot crashes while playing Doom. I installed HWinfo to check for temps on GPU/CPU, and it appears that they're staying around 60-62 degrees. PSU is a Corsair GS700. What else do I need to check to properly diagnose the problem?

it can

Google voice would, but it requires that you own a number that you can associate it with. If you are truly looking for a number without associating an existing one, you'll have to get a paid service. I tried for hours and hours to find a free one, but everything I tried didn't work.

bump

I can't remember the exact methods but I think the process uses a microSD card. I think it goes something like this:
1.Install run Android OS onto microSD
2.Then install some other app on your phone
3.Do something to the startup.exe file for the android
4. Reboot and your phone should run android
Again I don't remember the steps very well so I've skipped quite alot, but this should either help you start researching from somewhere or some other user will be able to fill in the blanks.
You're just butthurt and it seems like you also don't know what would happen. Have a good day user.

Why do some people buy super wide mouse pads and put their keyboards on them?

How difficult would it be to learn linux and use it instead of my current windows 10 OS that I've customized to my liking? I've heard it's really good for customization and personalizing.

Can I still get in on the anti-Anita cottage industry? Or is it peaked/saturated now?

I'm not sure if you noticed but the thread was pretty quite at the time. And I only started reacting in this manner after these posts I replied to this post in an ok fashion.

Try it in a virtual machine. It's free.

Linux definitely involves going outside your comfort zone, but it can be a very rewarding experience. Once you get the hang of it, many things like program updates and connecting peripherals can be much more convenient than under windows. And while there are certainly some programs that won’t work on linux, there are also many free ones designed specifically for it, and with some tinkering in W.I.N.E. many windows programs are supported as well. Linux has a knack for running very smoothly until some weird problem comes up, then it’s off to the forums. Luckily you don’t have to dive in all at once. You can start by running a copy within windows using VMware or Virtualbox, and if that goes well, try a dual boot. Ubuntu is one of the easier distros to use and comes with an active online community and many guides for beginners. A great way to minimize risk before shrinking windows or trying a dual boot is to do a complete system backup with Macrium Reflect or similar. And after installing linux, I recommend downloading the third party (PPA) program Timeshift as a kind of equivalent to Windows Restore, to help you undo most minor mistakes without hours of searching through forums. Good luck!

Exactly. The thread was pretty quiet until you started being a dick then multiple annons told you off for it, then you didn't take the hint. No you're still here for some reason

I have one and I don't know why. Sorry

I'll figure something out

Those aren't. I see you aren't a TCG player at all. Those are just TCG mats. Google TCG mats

It's not. I have it as a spare drive. It's just different. At best you just need to learn learn a handful of commands like Sudo Apt-get install and a few other things, but really a deb file is like an exe or MSI file. It's not complicated, it's just different.

Sup Forums has a huge boner for linus and linux and stallman cause of MUH FREEDUMS!
But really just go back to 7 IMHP
10 is trash
8 is iffy
7 is perfect, got for ultimate tho

and this, if you are unsure, also get Ubuntu or mint, it's not hard to install

People like bloodsausage. People are morons.

inkedgaming.com/

I have several mats cause I've played TCGs over the years but here you can create a custom mat too. I want an Alice in wonderland mat and an emerald City mat and a few others.

Check this out if you want something to cover you completely

It must be nice not seeing things from other peoples perspective.
Sorry couldn't help you out much.

A for effort at least user

Because it looks cool in /bst/.

Would I be able to make a thread about turntables?

How does this occur? What was your thought process when purchasing it?

>Those are just TCG mats
They're not though. Shit like this. SteelSeries makes RADICOOL ESPORTS shit and it's marketed as such.

Fuck you too.

This makes the most sense desu.

for ssds is it better to buy one high capacity ssd or several lower capacity ssds? for example buying 1 2tb drive vs 4 512 drives.

Saw it for cheap on Massdrop and my 1$ mousepad was starting to be in a bad shape.

(and I thought it looked cool)

Dude, that's basically a TCG mat. It's like saying you have VOZE and Deer Park when they are still water. They just have a different label is the only difference.

However, if you want a cool looking for, find your local hobby shop and ask if they have different versions. Or you could also goto walmart and if they have those Pokemon or yugioh big boxes with like 100 cards and a play mat. I got a Dark Magician/girl and a Slifer mat. Love them both

Do TCG mats have non-slip rubber beneath them?

Unless you were trying to run them in raid to increase speed, I would expect a single large one to be better. SSDs benifit from free space. They use it as part of their trim process and they ignore partition lines. So an ssd is happier if it has free space to work with. If all data was always evenly distributed, it probably wouldn't matter as much

That is why people get them. and they are fantastic.

Does anyone know how to fix this Windows 7 issue? The letter "l" is missing on certain displays, including 3rd party programs and some of Microsoft's own GUI (though not very much; the file explorer is still fine).

I'll try to find some then. Thanks senpai

TCG mats = Giant mouse pads
I know a decent amt of nerds who use their spares as such

I get that it's basically the same product but I want to know why people do this thing when they're not just taking their TCG mat and repurposing it.

Is there a way to make sure the Windows task manager is always on top, so if a program crashes and stays in the foreground, you can still use the task manager? I know there's a setting in the task manager that's supposed to do that, but it automatically unchecks the first time it's needed, which is really, really fucking stupid.

NEATO

Not everyone plays a TCG user, so not everyone knows this. I use to play Naruto TCG and I had friends who won constantly. winning mats and so on. I had this bleach mat from when Bleach was a TCG. Very nice mat too. But it had it's time from being folded so many times so I decided to put it away and switch out. Most TCG nerds more than likely do what I do with mine but you wont see it often outside of that community 2bh

My computer died and im trying to diagnose why. It started where my computer would not come out of sleep mode and just doing a restart fixed it by unplugging and plugging back in. Today though I couldn't get any response and after restarting I still got nothing. No fans spinning, no lights on the inside but my snowball mic still had an orange light on so I figured power was still running. I reseated the RAM, reseated the bios and the 24 pin connector. Is it the mobo or the PSU??

No I do see where you're coming from. I just find it odd that you would expect people to react any differently than they did, especially here. You committed the Sup Forums faux pas of sounding like an impatient 12 year old who spends all day yelling at people on xbox, then when this was pointed out, rather than being like "hey guys, sorry I didn't mean to sound impatient, I would really appreciate your help" you stuck to your guns and kept acting like everybody else was a retard. Every group has it's social norms and you violated this ones. Being redirected to other groups for help would have been a great opportunity to just bow out unless you really felt like sticking around just to prove you were in the right

How do I get OSX style font rendering on my Windows 7 machine?

It looks too sexy to pass up.

I'm thinking its the motherboard but would love second opinion

You should Google 'OSX font rendering on Windows 7'.

It would depend heavily on the model of phone. People don't realize how much phone hardware varies from model to model compared to PCs. There have definitely been cross hackable models in the past, but much like rooting or changing your android distro, it's up to people to create hacks on a case by case basis, and the technique to set it up varies widely from phone to phone. I would check your model on forum.xda-developers.com, and if you haven't bought already maybe see which ones are workable before making the purchase

Id like to reset my computer to factory settings. I have a pirated copy of Windows and no disk so I am not sure how to perform this.

Am I allowed to put my computer case on the floor if it's hardwood?

I had a feeling of such

how big is programming in cyber security? i find the networking and operational systems very nice but i hate programming, i can read programs in C and python but anyway, just wanna know if i go down on security i will have to face too much programming

Wood does not attract electricity yes it's perfect.
I've never had a problem with my computer on carpet tho

Torrent install disk. Activate daz loader. Choose custom install when installing to wipe old os

Not to be a pest but could someone lend a hand I'm just confused and don't want to buy the wrong parts
