Novidya Rekt

Novidya shills, what does it feel like to support such a shitty, rotten company ?

topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/lawsuit-news/340705-nvidia-settles-graphics-card-false-advertising-class-action/

>$30
HOLY FUCKING SHIT JUST GOT REKT DAYUM HARD

neat i'll get back $90 then.

It would be better if it were some exact dollar and cent amount that was calculated by subtracting 7/8ths from the wholesale cost that they paid to get the memory.

I would respect nvidia a lot more if they pulled shit like that.

>30 dollars

Green Goblins on suicide watch.

Thats not all, therell be over 10 butthurt AMD shills claiming against them, so Nvidia might lose a lot more than just 30 burgers

There goes Jen-Hsen Job's leather jacket bonus.

is this what nvidia ha instructed you shills to say to deflect criticism? it's the second highest post on reddit and will unodubetly be #1 since it's still rising, a lot of people are going to claim it.

For years Nvidiots said nothing it wrong, it's ok, it's fine, it's not a problems. Now that the law has stepped in and said it's an issue they still won't recognize that it was a problem.

The money doesn't matter .
It's the fact that they lost the case that proves they are in the wrong .

They'll just make up the difference by doing more aggressive marketing. It'll come out of AMD's pockets honestly.

>tfw the $30 is going towards my freesync monitor and ultimately my future AMD set up
lite pottery

$30 for a lawsuit like this is actually pretty good.

Nvidia wont have any trouble paying it though of course seeing as its a billion dollar company with only 2 other competitors.

I wonder how many 970 owners will even send in claims or even see this news for that manner.
All you have to do is provide proof of purchase no? Takes like 2 minutes.

$30
>$30
Thirty Dollars? Not $30.50?

Nvidia lose like 4% of revenue for 1 card, add in the possibility that nvidia will give $30 via a investment in a upgrade, not cash back.

Nvidia is truly cancer

Its a slap on the wrist, but it proves that no matter how much whiny Gaymer faggots suck their cock, Nvidia cant get away with the shit they pull.

Hopefully Goyworks gets a lawsuit, too.

Neat, but when I want to acess the website it says it's blocked in my country. Can I still get the money if I am from europe?

>Hopefully Goyworks gets a lawsuit, too.
Would need a studio to step forward with evidence that they were asked to implement 'features' that would ultimately reduce performance of a competitor, or previous generation cards by a considerable margin.

While it's clear enough to look at and see that something is happening, it's difficult to prove that something IS happening.

>Nvidia denied all allegations of wrongdoing

"I-It has 4 GB! Y-you just weren't using it right!"

Stay salty NVidya cucks.

>point to the place where uncle nvidia touched you little user

$30 is all they deserve.

Should have been $35

Tesselation was a gimmick to begin with, all it does is ruin the hard work of 3D modelers who spend time and effort to optimize their models to look good but still have low poly counts. And it just throws it on fucking everything, even shit the player can't even see, is pointless to tesselate, or is miles away from the camera.

I'm () And even I'm going to call you out, seriously, try harder, or shitpost more. In the middle is just pathetic.

BUT, I will credit you in partially validating one of your statements
>Tessellation was a gimmick
Beyond x32 is a gimmick, one could even argue for anything past x16. x64 is just a ridiculous being which serves no purpose. Witcher 3 is a perfect example of varying tessellation levels, their visual effect, and the performance hit.

No, it's just optimized for novidya hardware. I hoped that games would tesselate the shit out of everything so you can't see polygons on models and have smooth curves.

It's not so much that tessellation is optimised for nVidia hardware, it's that nVidia hardware is optimised for tessellation.

CUDA cores double up exceedingly well as tessellation units, and as this CUDA, and nVidia have found comfortable places in the professional marketplace, and rightfully so. The area relies on highly specialised hardware and software.

lmao shill harder.

That's it!
Now you're getting the gist of it!

What was the other major lawsuit they had with the gtx 2xx series? I recall the laptop gpu one grenading themselves.

...

Nvidia is one of the more scummy tech companies out there and that says a lot about them. They want to make money more than offer a fair product for a fair price to a consumer.

will they give 30 in yurop as well?

Holly shit, i bought a great video card and now Nvidia is paying me back?
AMD has no chance in these conditions, literally payed to use a better product

Man Crytek is shit.

I buy nvidia cards because amd is a complete shit when it comes to linux.

>Nvidia announces $40 per person
>Only sends $35

As a proud owner of 970 I'd rather nvidia keep their money and continue to make great products.

Nvidia didn't do anything wrong. This lawsuit is from bunch of AMD fanboys

>implying amdfags bought nvidia products just to get a measly $30 per 970

> Better.
> Not a gimped, anti-consumer ripoff.
> Mental gymnastics.

Proud owner of a 970! wher can I collect my $30 in eu?

My 1070 only has 6GB of ram. Where is my lawsuit?
