Repos

which one and why?

neither
>he needs a gui to use git

Git hub is why open source is shit

Damn, the amount of PokemonGo bots has sky rocked.

no it hasnt, theres like 3 and 2 are based off the same thing, all the others are shit.

Really? I just tried a search and saw numerous repos. I didn't really looked each one individually.

github is literally a marxist company. if you use it, you are destroying your own industry. dont blame anyone but yourself when everything collapses.

I like Atom for its extension framework and modding community, but I am not much of a fan of GitHub's politics.

which one do you use then

Neither
Gitlab

pic related because I'm not a retard

wat

Found the retard

I'm running a selfhosted gitlab.
I don't want everything to be public.

I run a self hosted go git service on my employers web server, we all get a certain amount of space for personal use, it's nice ^_^

Hell of a perk!

and no fucking standard gui works with it so everyone HAS to the use the commandlne!

perfect fro fucking woth noobs!

top kek install gentoo!!!!!!

I use bitbucket because I don't want everything to be public, and I'm lazy. Seems like the obvious choice for personal projects where you don't need collaboration features.

I don't make that much money, but it's enough for me and they're just really nice employers :)

I've never really found a git gui I liked, except source tree, which is not native to linux, so that's a no-go
Idk what this has to do with gentoo though, me and most of my coworkers use Ubuntu or some derivative there of (I'm currently using KDE Neon)

Not advocating for github, but github now allows for unlimited free private repos, they've switched to the bitbucket pricing model

At least an the open source service

No standard git GUI works with what? Gogs? Why wouldn't it?

Oh seriously? Nice. I probably won't bother migrating everything back though.

Nice.

maybe he's referring to the integration programs like sourcetree (or other git clients) offer for github and bitbucket

Yeah, desu I already had gotten used to bitbuckets interface

Self hosted git or GitHub depending on the project.

> choose between two closed source botnets

A shame the editor is shit though.
