Would you buy this for $1?
Would you buy this for $1?

yes
Yes, but only if it included shipping/delivery
I used to be very excited to jump on the opportunity to get free/cheap shit
but the fact of the matter is currently I don't have the means of storing that many computers
so until I get a bigger apartment or house or storage, there's really nothing I could do with that
hell, I don't even have the means to transport this
I would love to buy it though
I can sell it at 2500% profit
No. Too much trouble throwing out the rest just to get the one good case.
I'm a complete poorfag and I'd pass it up. Junk is junk.
yes the roll of tape is worth $1, i keep one computer for replacement of current, and trash or sell others
I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR
Yes. If nothing else, I can sell the metals in it.
I would if at least a couple of them worked.
If your time is worthless then by all means by it.
>Can I look at a few towers?
>Nope, as-is for $1
meanwhile they have already pulled everything useful from the systems and you're left with trash to dispose of at your own cost.
That depends. Are there hard drives I can pilfer for personal data?
Might be worth it in scrap. Older Pcs are pretty heavy
Of course
$500 disposal fee
$1 price tag
-------------
Save $499
Fuck, big companies are brilliant.
Beige is my favorite color.
I'd love to put some of those old cases to good use.
This, nobody gives away working computers for free
these are filled with remnants of working computers, they are just junk
>no CRTs
worthless
>at your own cost
That's more than $1 worth of steel there, nigger.
Even if there's nothing in those cases, you can grab yourself one or 2 you like (dat oldschool look), throw the plastic bits away and scrap the steel and end up either spending nothing or with a tiny profit.
If there IS anything in those cases, even if they're just cheap shitty old case fans, life is looking up.
No
Yeah but where else can you find a retro looking pc case for a dollar?
Fuck, you could probably sell them $15 each if you know your target market
>implying any of those are ATX compatible
They look around p4 era, so why wouldn't they be?
is it really worth selling that shit for 25 dollars?
Depends how quick you can sell it.
That's like 4 meals from oporto or hungry jacks
>scrapping metal for nickels
>calls other people nigger
i'm lmaoing at your life
Yep.
>Would you buy this for $1?
Do you deliver?
No. I don't need a heap of garbage.
Looks like no components inside. So no.
yeah, ill sell it immediately for scrap.
could probably get 25-35 bucks.
yeah probably just a bunch of fake mainboard port panels and power supplies you fucking dope
I can clearly see the serial ports on two of them just from the thumbnail, so they probably do have motherboards. Also a few of them have CD ROM drives.
Yes. Would rebuild them all and sell them for profit.
Yes. I would like to repair them.
>tfw they don't work
>sir, i need a refund or i'll kill you
he knows where you live now too
No, you gotta pay me to take all that e-waste.
considering the time and effort you'd have to put into selling that, individually or as a whole... not really
buy for a dollar and drive it straight to the trash
i don't think i could carry all that in my car
Yes if they were close to me. I'd melt down what I can for gold, and take the rest that wasn't intrinsically valuable to the scrap yard for $50 in scrap.
...
One of the ones at the bottom is a lian li atx midtower. I have the fulltower version of the same case. Dated now, but at the time it was a really expensive case. It's very light thanks to aluminum panels.
Yes people do give away working computers.. I found an entire skip filled with poweredge servers (the ones I took work fine)
Grab all the ram and sell them locally for $25.
Max 20 minutes work I'd say.
Sure it's not as good as a real job, but if you are poor enough to eat at oporto or HJ's then it's probably good.
If someone would deliver me this to Germany yes.
I would reuse those parts to build some decent office/media machines and sell them on Ebay.
normalfags love buying those used dells.......
I'd buy for $100.
You never know what neat shit you might find.
Here's your dollar
>good, now you get to throw all this shit away. thanks
Sure,if the shipping is free.
>Lian Li silver case in there
>junk
You fucking retard.
People don't know prices of those things, lucky for us.
Yeah. I Need a case for my botmachine. Think any of those fit a miniatx?
If you'll help me lift it into my truck, sure.
my university has an e-waste bin full of computers and servers, most of them were junked just because they were old
They would save 501$
They wouldn't have to dispose of it and they would make 1$
>25 dollars
>2500%
user...
2500% = 25
$1 x 25 = $25
Of course I would
Definitively
I already sell junk to latinamerican countries, i could make a lot out of it.
Depending on the specs, i'd be able to sell those for $25-$40 each.
my old high school phased out Windows Vista Dells for Chromebooks when they recently came out and my baby brother told me about it. Went to the school warehouse and cannibalized one of them on the spot maxing out the RAM of the one I was taking to a whopping 4GB in two DDR2 slots. The new computer guy was like o_O when I did all this. When I got home, I inserted a spare 8800GS Alpha Dog card I had but was disappointed by it's performance in Crysis so it was used as a server until I built and i3 based box for the purpose.
For the beige boxes alone.
Make a sleeper out of one of them.
Yes, nothing like decreasing your life expectancy.
They would save 500 and make a profit of 1 dollar
t. /sci/
no, i'd have no use for all those cases.
and i dont feel like trying to resell them
>assorted 286/386-era shitboxes
>performa 63xx in the lower left
>IBM PC300 of some kind
>bunch of P4 shitboxes you can sell to niggers for $20 on craigslist
sure
>meanwhile they have already pulled everything useful from the systems
it's not worth their time to sit there and nitpick a pallet worth of niche shit of paltry value they'll have to sit on for months before someone actually buys it
...
wew
That roll of tape is worth at least a dollar on its own!
