No root

>bought android smartphone
>can't root

i wanna kill myself

Isn't rooting easy as fuck unless you buy crap that bricks easy like the Blackberry PRIV?

If you live in a shit 3rd world country and buy a smartphone that is only sold in your motherland

:(

fuck you brazil

I have an AT&T Note 4 running Lollipop and there is no root available. Fuck Samsung, next Nexus phone here I come.

smart

>lelipoop

LOL

I made the same mistake with the AT&T HTC One X too, OP.

A root did eventually come out but years later when the phone was outdated and nobody used it anymore.

I can't update to anything else. Bullshit like this makes me understand why people buy iPhones

it sucks, because I'm a complete noob when it comes to smartphones
got one as a gift, and now i think they're interesting, but i still can root the damn thing

>use a chink app to root my tablet because Pajeets claim it works
>it installs supersu
>root checker apps claim that my device is rooted
>when I actually try to do something that requires root I just get errors
I don't even feel like I own what I bought.

Agreed 100%. Samsung fucking sucks. They hate anybody with any interest in using their phone to its full capacity.

Remember how much they advertised KNOX as a security feature, and then it turned out to just be there to stop you from rooting?

What about Xiaomi?

No clue. Never used a phone by them.

>tfw T Mobile Samsung S7
>can't root

I didn't know this when I got it

Its ok, my s7 exynos was rooted and working fine for 5 months

>lost root due to some update
>rerooted with latest superSU and odin

now it will freeze instantly if i try to disable anything

not even trying to root anymore, not worth it (Fuck samsung)

>TFW LG G4 can't root on marshmallow 6.0

It should be illegal to prevent rooting.

>have international S5
>rooting was easy as fuck
>gets daily official CM13 nightlies
>one of the two quadrooter CVEs that affect it has been pathed in less than a week after the discivery of the exploits
>tfw

Feels gud mang

death penalty for those who patch exploits

Seriously though, I was amazed the one remaining exploit will get patched in a week at most too whereas most manufacturers won't bother updating their older phones. Buying something that has good community support really pays off eventually.

what the hell did you buy my compatriotic amigo?

LG K8 4G

This is my favorite blog on Sup Forums.

I'm REALLY glad that XDA found an exploit with specific Verizon S5 phones. Got to unlock the bootloader, slapped CM13 on it, and over clocked it. It runs so well now.

Fuck off dumb frogposter

i just want to root my phone :/

Damn, color me jealous. I'm on a T-Mobile S6 Edge, and trying to root this thing is a fucking pain, if even possible.

And even if I do root it, Samsung immediately voids the fucking warranty, trying to imitate Apple's bullshit.

>install towelroot
>run
>???
>profit

>Implying

My tmobile g4 laughs at you

>bought android smartphone
>doesn't supported by CM

Hey, pleb..

try kingroot, or cf-root universal root tools. RTFM.
if these don't work, you deserved what you got for not researching the device first.

You're a Cruz Booger, now

Kingroot doesn't work?

>kingroot

enjoy your literaly chinese botnet

doesn't work

doesn't work. and fucking ewww.

Way to research ahead of time fucko

i'm sorry

bought lagdroid
wont get updated to marshmellow
yuropoor version will tho

smhfamtbh

>bought x86 tablet
>can't flash android to it over USB
>no idea how to boot from USB and flash that way

I've wasted my money. :/

my phone has marshmellow

You may have a temp root. For instance, you won't be able to make changes to system apps (like removing them)
But apps that require root to function should work now.

You're over clocking an S5?? Mine gets hot just watching yt.
What speed are you running the 801 at?

lol look at this carrier cuck

can you get non-carrier phones?

Please, be bait.

I'm not a US-citizen.
