Can anybody help me? New computer. Leds on motherboard light up but fans arent running, wont start bios
90% sure i have everything connected right. 1st time building

Alex you need to send it back

clear the CMOS.

Did it work outside the case?

>90% sure i have everything connected right
That's nice. Check again.

check if you have 8 pin cpu power connector plugged in, same for 24 pin mobo connector. check everything for your gpu as well. also try shorting the pins on the pw switch on the mobo and see if that does anything different.

Problem is you're fat and ugly.

You answered your own question, my man.

ur fucked

>inb4 no standoffs

Check for ram being properly seated. Also check for ram compatibility

I can't see shit from that pic

Take the fucking glass panel off

You didn't connect the CPU_OPT for the water cooler, dumb nigger.

It's not a coincidence he left it specifically so we would see his reflection on the glass. fucking faggot.

What a fucking poser faggot famalamashamadam

$20 say he forgot the spacers and fried the motherboard.

why is your head so small

Install gentoo

>uses nvidia
>"Can anybody help me"
no fuck off back to Sup Forums, seriously why is everyone that buys nvidia a retard

Jesus the salt.

What is this 2001?

Also pretty sure thats a Coolermaster Mastercase

so the spacers come pre installed nig

everyone that buys nvidia is always here on /g asking for help for some basic bull shit and i point it out, you the buttmad fanboy that is mad that i pointed it out

Its pretty crazy how upset your getting over a thread senpai.

why don't you go shitpost in some AMD vs Nvidia threads

>1st time building
You made sure to use motherboard standoffs right? Also make sure you've connected the power button to the right pins. If your mobo has an on-board button, try that one too.

you are the one thats upset fanboy

Ah yes, because I was the one that flamed someone for asking for help.

no but you are the one thats butthurt that someone did

>Butthurt

Totally my man

I wish I could have social skills like yours xoxo

then maybe you wouldn't be an autistic shill

>Shill

Were do I reference a brand I like?

Enjoy talking to your self AMD Shill

Sup Forums has to be a satire board I swear, people can't be as retarded as you.

>autistic nvidia shill calling anyone else a shill
wew lad

>Sup Forums has to be a satire board I swear
then go back to Sup Forums where people actually are retarded

So you can't show me where I reference a brand I like

or me liking nVidia for that matter

But I'm still a shill.

Where are you on the spectrum my man?

>autistic nvidia shill calling anyone else autistic
lol just lol

1) Unplug everything that's not power. Memory too. Also the video card. The only thing on the board should be the power connections.

1.5) Ensure that you've connected all the power connections. There's the main one, and there's also likely a 4 pin connector that's easy to miss.

2) Power on. You should get a beep code. You don't? Faulty board, return it.

3) Plug the memory in. You should get a single beep.

4) Plug the video card in. If it goes back to doing nothing here, ensure that you've connected the power to the card. Still nothing? Faulty video card. Replace.

I'm yet to actually see a legitimate counter point here

Take the fucking side off and take another picture if you want help you fucking moron.

back to the hugbox family

so nasty in here.
check the power into mobo plug. sometimes can be hard to seat.

Disconnect all unnecessary components:
>uninstall GPU (You will be using integrated graphics for now)
>disconnect drives from mobo
>connect only keyboard (no mouse, LAN, thumb drives, etc)
>leave only one RAM module installed (check motherboard manual for single-module RAM configuration, it will probably reccommend leaving it in channel1, slot1)

Check these items:
>check 8-pin CPU power connector is connected to mobo
>check 24-pin mobo power connector is connected to mobo
>check that the single RAM module is seated properly
>check that you have installed the correct motherboard standoffs into your case
>Check that the CPU cooler bracket/bolts are not contacting your mobo directly. There should be some sort of plastic washers/coating between the brackets/bolts and your mobo to prevent damage or short circuits.
>carefully reseat the CPU following the instructions in your mobo manual

lmao you're a joke kid

>Sup Forums spillage calling anyone kid

Read the manual.
