Opera or Chrome.

Chromium

uBlock Origin
uMatrix

Vimperator

Chrome

XMarks if you use bookmarks a lot like me.

Synchronizes your bookmarks to a cloud server and lets you re-sync them to any browser with the add-on installed. I have had the same bookmarks list for over 5 years and I never lose them because they're sync'd every day. Whenever I re-install firefox I just install xmarks, log in, and my bookmarks are back instantly.

Has options to sync browser history and open tabs too but I have no need for that.

soon they won't be working

There's no such thing as "must have", there's only "I like".
E10s for performance, uBlock Origin to block ads\trackers, Watch with MPV for sites that still want to use Flash for some reason, etc.

uMatrix
uBlock Origin
Https everywhere

Jesus that's a fuckload of addons

Or keysnail for emacs users. One of the only extensions keeping me in firefox.

AdBlock plus, AdBlock, https everywhere, greasemonkey

I do hope you realise everything you just listed is baked into firefox.

Also,
>muh cloud

>Firefox addons

Everytime you update, it stops working. kek. Firefox is a mess. What went wrong?

For me it's Vimfx, cause vimperator broke a lot in the past with every firefox update

They didn't add that until 2014, I've been using xmarks since like 2005.

>muh cloud

And what do you think a fucking firefox account is?

"The cloud" is just a way of saying "some server somewhere" with less words. I wasn't using it in the mysterious sense like marketers do.

thats a list

here's mine

Adblock for Youtube
Adblock Plus
Greasemonkey
Reddit Enhancement Suite
S3.Google Translator
uBlock Origin
Yet Another Smooth Scrolling
Youtube High Definition

Among the many things that you can do to understand animal behavior it is watching their surroundings.

Many of you spend a insufferable amount of time calling out brand-worshiping as some sort slavery and telling yourselves that you all are somewhat reasonable by noticing this, without even taking a look at how attached you are to your own environment.

My favourite is the addon that makes a ballerina dance on the screen. So pretty.

I forget its name though.

>quora-nologin
ayyyyyyyyy just don't run scripts you retard

wtf

Hurr durr encrypting publicly available content makes me safe

It protects from MITM attacks, unless the CA is compromised.

>reddit

do you want it to be slow as shit, of course not
just install the bare necessity (thats abp)

Mozilla fucked up man. All normies switched to Chrome, because it was faster. Now the powerusers leave, because of the extension signing requirement. Neither the normal nor the power users will just switch for the sake of it and with no plan to actively bring them back, Mozilla is done.

I believe uMatrix is integrated into uBlock. Try the advanced user setting.

uMatrix has even more fine grained control than uBlock origin in expert mode and has referrer and user agent spoofing.

Has Firefox really gone to shit?

It's not that it's gone to shit, it just isn't good enough. Addons is what kept Firefox alive and addons is what Mozilla has to break in order to be able to improve Firefox. Unfortunately the remaining users will simply leave if their favorite addons don't work anymore. Firefox will become a decent browser without a userbase, just like Opera.

I blame Mozilla for the fucking retarded "Press Escape to Exit Full Screen Mode" everytime you want to watch something in fullscreen. Of all the things, Chrome decided to copy this dumb idea. If you're going to do this, at least let the power users turn this shit off.

>Firefox Remover 2.0

That's a security feature though. Otherwise a website could pretend to be your desktop and deceive you into downloading and running malicious code.

how stupid you need to be to fall for it?

Sure has. It started with Australis. You see, they had something that was unique so instead of being unique, they decided they wanted to look and be like Chrome. Frequent updates without frequent QC. People then compared Firefox to Chrome and thought, "Hey, this Chrome thingie is really light and fast. Why am I using a Chrome wannabe when I could just be using Chrome?". And so here we are. Firefox trying to play catchup while hiring sjws who can't program for shit.

Yes, a "feature". Just like how Hello, Pocket was a feature that nobody wanted.

>letting some third party jews get their grubby mitts all over your browsing data when you could be running your own private ffsync server

Nobody is 100% cognitively present all of the time.

I agree it was majorly stupid to include Hello and Pocket. It's harder to argue against security features.

>Youtube
>Pretend to be your desktop

...

It's not just for Youtube, but for everything that wants to go fullscreen, celly.

NoScript, uBlock Origin, Request Policy, Firebug & HTTPS Everywhere.

VimFX.

Yes, and? Nobody wants to see that message a million times a day. Give the option to turn it off at least.

You can, pic related.

True.

>putting your bookmarks on a botnet

Literally what? You don't need an account to use Firefox.

>Chrome

Maybe on a Cray

It could detect your operating system, simulate a BSOD, and then the whole restart sequence, then record your password when you log in.

Can you still do that with ff48? thought they changed sync

Has anyone been getting really ambiguous crash report messages on Developer Edition?

Every time I open up the browser there's a bar at the bottom declaring that I have unsubmitted crash reports, and when I click View, it takes me to about:crashes. Which makes sense, except for the part where about:crashes says it's only for submitted crash reports. You can remove them, but it doesn't say if it's removing them from Mozilla's servers or locally, and I never agreed to submit anything.

What the fuck

The lights of the cpu will tell me if the computer is truly restarting

Just start using cyberfox, already copied my profile and it's more responsive than firefox for now. Will they go with Mozilla deprecate addons api as well? Would be good keep using it

What do you use?
