It is good

upset your motherboard isn't milspec?

it says so on the box! people wouldnt use false terms for advertising would they?

Milspec should just be a thicker board. Just do deal with blast waves for the PC's mounted in apc's

I also have this bad boys sitting here. Guess what else does my pc features

turbo button!?!?

That ram is sexy

>Military class
Doesn't that just mean it was made as cheaply as possible to meet the minimum requirements as given by the military.

I've got corsair vengeance 1600 cas 9.
And also USB 3.0 on the 970 mobo....
Or am I missing something?

REPORTING FOR DUTY!!!

X99a Mpower reporting in

I'm not about to open my case but CLASS 4 reporting in.

by milspec you mean that there's a DoD backdoor in it?

Now every branch of the military can break into muh pc

If these civilians only knew what a real military computer is like...

IT HAS BULLET HOLES IN THE NAME, ITS FOR SURE RELATED TO THE MILITARY

...

at least it used to mean something back in the day.
Silicon wafers are more pure in the center and those parts went straight to military use, rest was used in consumer electronics.

plebs ITT.

>you will never be a transexual autist with priceless ballistic launch control modules he/she found in the trash

> fake military shit

>Not being part of the Ultra Durable master race

Kys

Good job soldiers. Now do you have a perpherial with you ?

I'm sorry user, but that power connector does not look very military to me, I think you might been lied to.

kek, this isn't the 60s, nobody uses cables like that anymore

>his motherboard doesn't come with an actual military weapon on the box

Get on my level kiddos, pure /k/ here

I bought that, cringed when the box arrived

>buys product with picture of a weapon on he never even shot
>cringe

>his motherboard doesnt come with a magazine and clip

>I have never actually loaded a clip in my life
>have motherboard with clip

>military grade

That means giant piece of shit with finicky hardware that's running software written by 100 chimps with typewriters. That one part that's always burning out? $35,000

I've called in countless mortar strikes for your information.

We all have played COD user.

kek.

tfw when you actually use rugged equipment

Pretty much all military radiosets are equipped with those kind of connectors, mainly cause it takes quite a bit to break them.
t. Signal conscript

HOLE TECHNOLOGY

Not just radio sets, all kinds of military equipment, including computers use similar, NATO standard connector.

True, pretty much all our equipment uses your pics 5 pin or the similar 3 pin one.
It's a decent connector, can take quite a beating. Only issue is that if its damaged in the field, for example squeezed connectors, it's nearly impossible to fix with just a multitool.

Higher grade components are very real

Although i would never buy these asus/msi boards unless someone requested it for the looks.

Overpriced just to look special.

Wan't good components buy a high grade Gigabyte one, those gaymer shit is retarded.

msi.com/Motherboard/H81M-PRO-VH.html#hero-overview

literally the cheapest board i could find

the isolated audio pcb part it's true, on my old motherboard whenever i turned off my pc i would hear a buzz on mys speakers, now there's no noise

so many buzzwords

>you will never have a motherboard made for lan parties again

>literal 90's fan
rad/100

>captcha: 686

Op here. This thread was for lols, didn't expect so many replies. But then if you want to laugh my pc is all meme.

>military h81 mobo
>cheapest case
>house fire psu
>Radeon card with 300w power draw and 3 fucking fans
>no Ssd just hdd
>hyperx ram
>Windows 10 from uni
>custom fitted optical drive (I pushed it using force to the inside of case)
>psu cables stretched to the limits to connect drives
>custom cpu cooler for non over clickable cpu

Yeah it's literally a meme

if u talk shit about military class ill have you strung up and whipped for betrayal of the military sir
ill have you know i graduated top of my class in the msi miltary and i have over 300 confirmed overclocks

I had 2 Chieftec PSU's once and both of them failed within a month.

Made for lols?

You don't take MSI military grade hardware seriously?!?!?!

>not using a KILLER ASSASSIN BOARD to pretend you're a real soldier in FPS games

...

I'd buy this if it's a poster.

Press F to pay respects.
>>pc designed for high quality presentations and operateing microsoft nt.
>>me giving no shits

Looks like that board got assassinated!

...

Fucking normies get away form my mobo.

>Yeah it's literally a meme

>where is 16GB RAM
>where is SSD
>still has a optical drive

That's not a meme PC

GiB

GB is the official meme Windows way

>lan parties
im too old to know this feel

Are you over 40 years old?
We had LAN parties in the late 1990s

What was up with the X58 chipset and all those gaudy ass gaming boards made during it's time, I was 15 in 2010 and even I thought they were stupid.

*too young, whoops

>am3+
>90's

Lol i had this exactly mainboard

Outdated shit with obscure slots that's been necromancer'd by hellish processes running missions critical radar and weather systems? All because there's a support contract?

I'm not completely in the dark, y'know.

This one works since 2 years (this is when I built up this pc) but is loud under load.

It has 8 gb of ram, and Ssd is coming soon

>tfw you owned a Q6600, 4gb, 8800gt system with an Antec 900 case meme rig in 2007.

>he likes meme RAM

>8 SATA connectors
>3 pcie x16 connectors
>floppy drive and IDE drive connectors
>separate audio sound board

wizardry!

I wish we had motherboards chock full of features like this nowadays, instead of just a bunch of obligatory reset buttons and leds.

I basically had that until 18 months ago.

>Q6600
>8GB DDR2
>GTX 9800 512MB
>480GB SSD boot drive

Not a bad rig all things considered.

Couldn't be happier with my 5820k now though.

"Dark chokes"
Damn this is some serious shit

STEEL ARMOR!!!

4 X STRONGER!!!

Beautiful.

saved to my "hardcore" folder

>Military class

...

Ram is actually in gigabytes.

>military class
>actually has a gpu

Computer I'm workinf on right now has an i7-r970 @ 3.6GHz and 4 gigs of ran with Win 7 Enterprise 64 bit Service Pack 1.

It has a Windows Experience Rating of 1.0 being held down by it's desktop performance for Windows Aero

>5820k

Biggest meme of all

Losered

In what way? It was cheaper than the 6700k because I have a microcenter nearby.

>qool

>want to buy the best and expensive mobos with firmware settings I'll never need for the sake of epeen
>they all look like they were made to appeal to 14 year olds

What kind of 14 year old is going to spend 400€ on a mainboard?

His parents spend the 400€ to shut up the brat

...

manufacturers just assume anyone over 14 won't really care what their fuckin motherboard looks like

fuarkkk

Does MSI stand for "military shit inside"

kek

in MSI's case, yes.

My X99-A II would easily pass mil-spec if ASUS wanted to meme it up.

What the fuck are you faggots talking about, that shit comes nowhere near military class, even the lower tier shit.

I used to live in Rochester and pass by the Raytheon building all the time. Only later did I learn they made super secret military weapons tech. Breddy neat. The building itself is super unassuming.

What should a building for Raytheon look like?

Jumping on memewagon

That gpu is temporary

What I mean is it didn't look like some sort of military place. Hell it looked like a Best Buy almost with a big glass facade and giant Raytheon logo.

Checked

...a lot of dust?

jesus christ that fucking minigun XD

That's not how sound works
