Um 5G? You'll need to buy a sim abroad to get into the 4G networks most of the time, I'm abroad in Europe right now and went backpacking around central Europe a month ago and there were plenty of places with 4G but data was really expensive using a English SIM card. The only 5G I got all trip was in Croatia.

It most certainly is, just only in the weeby areas, I think OP was talking about 4G+ which is around a few European countries with newer infrastructure, places like Lithuania and Bulgaria have surprisingly modern infrastructure, even their average broadband speed is way ahead of larger European countries.

North EU has amazing connections too and they cost nothing(from 10 eu sheckels a month for unlimited LTE). UK is supposed to become the leader in 5G connections, but even their 4G is expensive as fuck compared to other countries.

I only paid $45 a month for pic related (unlimited high speed lte) and get 8-16mbps download speeds throughout the day.

Can confirm Bulgarias internet for being good. You can get a wimax plan for cheap and unlimited data with good speeds and signal in the city. Home internet is also something like 10-15$ for basically as fast as 100mb/s network can handle.

I'm sorry to tell you but the coverage here is 95%. That means 4G to 4G+ at 95% of the land area with a far smaller population density than US. It's not good just in the cities. Yeah, you're just wrong, stupid and arrogant. Typical amurican faggot, then.

When companies like Google, who have a vested interest in giving consumers access to fast speeds, i.e for youtube, etc (while making money on the side), shitty oligopolies can just lower their prices magically by 50%. Then, lazy consumers rejoice that they have a good deal

It will be so hard to break these fuckers up. If the barriers to entry are this great, something needs to change. Either by government deeming access to (actually) affordable high-speed is a basic human right, or (the slower way) of companies such as Google slowly gaining market share (if at all)
