Android system has a firewall for this on most devices running 5+, not sure what the name of the app is but it's usually in a folder created the first time you boot the device along with a torch, sim control and battery monitor.
You can install NoRootFirewall instead (or a similar app) if you don't find the network traffic control app, NoRootFirewall creates a VPN local network and fools the system forcing apps to go through it first.
