Can't get used to Chrome...

Is there even a difference anymore?

I still use firefox, but I just dont see how it matters at this point

I can't browse this site with Mozilla and Chan x? Installed. It is too buggy so I have to use chrome. There isn't a huge difference to me though

Chrome coz i like muh google notifications

I'm using meme moon and everything is alright except for that stupid alt+tab transition

Been using Vivaldi for a couple of weeks now.. extremely satisfied.

cyberfox

I use FF and ChanX works fine. Not sure what that faggot above was complaining about. Sounds like a PEBKAC issue as always. Fuck Chrome and Fuck Google. Install Manjaro and Fuck MS. This should complete my edgelord circle.

>$0.01 has been deposited into your account

Chrome is faster. Go for Chrome.

Now Firefox is filled with SJWs you might as well go for the company that never got cucked because their founders were foreign fucks anyway.

cyberfox is fine for me even with my +30 addons and 20+ tabs

>Still running Opera 12.17
>In 2016
wtf
help me

FF is faster than Chrome on Android. No difference on a desktop. If you're on a chromebook make sure to take care of it and charge it up so you can return it to your local school. This board is also 18+ so you should get an adult before you post.

Strawpolls have showed time and again that Sup Forums users prefer Firefox.

>Go for Chrome.
>Firefox is filled with SJWs
>go for the company that never got cucked
sure, buddy

Firefox is so fucking laggy and sloppy. The only addon I have is ublock origin and sites like Facebook n shit usually crash..

Does this just translate to iPads for niggers in some American slum?

Ungoogled Chromium

Chromium

I'm afraid not.

FF but chromium is faster

I wish it was compatible with newer firefox addons though.

I use Chrome OS so chrome it is.

Get Firefox if you are fine with this

Opera

If Firefox 49 actually ships with native Netflix in Linux, I'll switch back from chrome. It's not in the beta version yet, so I'm not holding my breath.

Chrome. Gotta have those extensions man :')

none, Qupzilla is the best

There's a huge difference in the desktop, Firefox is slower and lags a lot more.

>A pledge for you to sign a petition for better copyright laws
I am absolutely fine with this.

I want sync between laptop and mobile

>Firefox
+ most trustworthy
- laggy on desktop, very laggy and clunky on mobile

>Opera

>Chrome
+ smooth Blink engine performance
+ most secure (from hackers)
+ everything in one place (I'm in the Google botnet)
- everything in one place (the evil overlords can shut down all my data in one fell swoop. massive profiling in the mean time based on bookmarks and history.)
- NO ADBLOCK ON MOBILE

>Opera
+ smooth Blink engine performance
+ word wrap, best mobile experience in general
- possible Chinese botnet
- sync servers were attacked recently anyway

Should I just go full Apple?

Safari sucks, at least the mobile version. Check its ACID score.

Firefox has FLAC, the rest is garbage

>playing your audio collection in your web browser

>firefox
>a 100% working script blocker that isn't a clusterfuck of bullshit

>chrom(e|ium)
>we have a script blocker addon, guys!
>either blocks too much or not enough and doesn't even fucking work half the time
I don't care if Firefox works at 1/100 the speed of Crap/Crapium, I need my fucking script blocker.

>being unable to click my.mixtape.moe/xwmirr.flac

top pleb

Surf from suckless

>clicking shit like that
>ever

Yeah, I'M the sad one.

google.com/

I use firefox just because all the addons I need are on firefox, I don't know if there any good alternatives to ublock, noscript, foxyproxy and httpseverywhere, if there is, I don't really care because firefox works fine.

Yes, yes indeed you are. How could you not want flac support?

Firefox. All my addons like httpseverywhere, tree style tabs and script blocking are only in it. Newer versions are starting to finally have multicore support too. Seeing anywhere from 4x to 7x improvement in speed.

>Firefox
>laggy on desktop
What?

No clue what you're talking about as I both installed. Manjaro and on Win7.

Firefucks.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing per se. It's just that I've never encountered a .flac file in my browser. Nothing I would ordinarily access on the web would be in .flac format. And if I ever did need to, I would save the file and open it in MusicBee/MPC-HC/VLC.

So it's not a significant plus point considering the bigger problems with Firefox.

Reminder this is the OFFICIAL Sup Forums browser poll:

strawpoll.me/11128585/

chrome.

>Use Firefox
>Move to Opera around version 8-9
>that insane raw performance increase in terms of how fast everything updated
I think he refers to the fact that in Firefox, there is a draw delay on opening new tabs for instance.

>Google Ultron

Can't be taken seriously

>there is a draw delay on opening new tabs
???

the person who made it was attempting to add as many meme browser as possible, they succeeded IMO.

Yep. It's not so much with loading pages, as it is with the interface. Opening tabs, switching tabs, scrolling, bringing up menus. Even on a brand new vanilla install, no addons. It just lags. It's just not optimised for Windows in the same way Chrome and Opera are.

Obviously I'm talking about Windows here, maybe it's different on GAHNOO LINNUCKS; I wouldn't know.

It's a windows 10 problem goy

works flawlessly for me on windows 7 and 10 on two garbage laptops and my desktop.

the problem is on your end.

You see it until it starts scrolling. The animation is very shit.
You also see on the 2nd-4th one you spawn: There is frames before the animation starts.

You are not seeing it, because you are used to it lagging.
I.E Opera 12 lags on open new tab, because it has to render the thumbnails. It doesn't lag on opening a link in a tab.

I use FF for general browsing and Chrome for work.

I also contribute to to the Servo project to help make browsers great again.

Firefox because it's free as free in freedom.

Firefox. There are a lot of add ons FF has that you can't get on Chrome. Especially Down ThemAll. That one add on is why I use Firefox over Chrome.

Chrome is #1 as long as you have 8 GB ram dedicated to it.

>There are a lot of add ons FF has that you can't get on Chrome. Especially Down ThemAll.

Fuck that noise. Both browsers both have the same add-ons. Chrome's version of DownThemAll is Chrono Download Manager. It's the same shit.

Chrono Download Manager doesn't let you pick where to put the images, it just downloads them.

Safari

Ever noticed how it's always Chrome users who shit on Firefox, and never the opposite? Yet strawpolls always show a strong board preference for Firefox and its forks. I think this speaks volumes about the attitude of the respective userbases.

what stupid alt tab transition?

Safari on MacOS Sierra is the best browser ever.

Teach me master.

ha good one

Opera

Google image search is by far the best in its competition, as well as Google Translate being able to integrate super smoothly with its browser.
For both, I have third party add-on copies of them installed for Firefox. : ^)

Why? Because Tree style tabs is a must-have.

IE 11

Edge.

>not using VLC to play anything under the sun

If you run without addons. Its still fast enough but loses to chrome or even edge. With addons its starting to shit itself, what happened to the good ol firefox i used to know back version7 ?

Fox because it's still safe.

>this thread
>logicalincrements.com/firefox/
>github.com/pyllyukko/user.js/
>privacytools.io/

>wants to be "safe"
>uses 15 year old deprecated OS

lol

Firefox because the mobile version let's me install adblock and I like to use the same browser on mobile and desktop so i can sync my bookmarks

>OMG THE ANIMATIONS HAVE TOO MUCH/LESS FRAMES
>IM UNINSTALLING
