It's pretty much the only laptop out there that isn't either a huge 5+ lb gamer truck, a macbook clone or an HP consumer shitter. it has the classic Lattitude keyboard and actual good battery life when not gaming. Just got one for $1000 at clearance sale. There's also an OLED option for richfags

I actually got a 15'' Inspiron (pic related) with the same specs last week and ended up exchanging it it because it was too heavy and the lid didn't close properly I was reluctant to get alienware because of the cringe looks but really, the keyboard and light weight were enough to make up for it.

I also just barely scrape the surface of marketing and aesthetic design.
