Comemrcially, all sorts of simulators (flight sims, shooting range, 90's arcades with emulator support, milsims, pool/airhockey/darts sim, etc..) and horror seem to go hand in hand with VR.
As for porn, only roomscale/rendered porn is decent on Vive, tried SBS 180/360 and it fucking sucks despite my best efforts at fiddling with whirligig settings. Just doesn't compare with rendered, only downside is if you dislike CG and hentai porn.

It was just a big artificial hype train pumped up by Facebook and HTC to try and get devs to invest but they never did and the public never actually bought into it on the level that was needed for the "jumpstart" they wanted which was risk free ez investment.
