Rate my PC and see if yours is better, I doubt it
My PC
I'm confused...
Why does a 1070 have a 8+6(maybe 8) connection when a 1080 is just a single 8.
Does the 1070 draw more power?
non-reference design m80. more power for ln2 overclockers probably.
Would anyone be so kind as to advise a mere novice on his selections here? I'm considering trying my hand at building a rig. Input would be great. Didn't think it warranted a new thread.
I opted for the 1060 over the 1070 for economy reasons.
>Didn't think it warranted a new thread.
Right
Yours would look pretty good if you didn't have that ugly stock cooler on the cpu
I'd go for two stick of 8gb in case you want to upgrade down the line.
>actually using aftermarket coolers
nice one
Ugh not one of you "fags" again its has been statistically shown that stock coolers are just as good as any other cooler on the market.
I had to get aftermarket cooler simply because how unspeakably loud the Phenom II stock cooler was.
I'll bite.
5/10. You have budget for a $60 LED kit but not a proper cooler? 'sup with that?
>2016
>still being poor and not buying into the watercooking meme
That's what you get for buying AMD
>2016
>tiny pc case
>2016
>half empty case
You sure you want a 750D? You will probably never be able to fill that case. Consider stepping down to a cheaper, less space-intensive midtower.
The 450D is a viable option.
That other user kind of has a point. Why remove the HDD cages? Airflow reduction with them in is minimal. Besides, computers with a bunch of drives are best computers. The thought of stuffing a case full to capacity with storage space and then some is almost....lewd.
When cable managed properly, a rack of HDD's in a case is pretty sex.
I enjoy my 750D, but it is decent sized for sure.
What does it say on your case?
its clearly visible in person, hard to see with cellphone camera tho.
What exactly is cat girl care if you dont mind me asking?
I'll post this here while we are paking about pcs/pc cases. The GPU i am getting is 11 inches long which is huge for a first time builder. Should i go for a bigger case, or just stick with the small case?(smaller case is a fractal design core 2300)
Talking* sometimes i dislike my hands.
...
Thanks that explains so much!
domestic ownership doesn't mean i have to care for them, are you retarded?
There's storage bays there, but since its not liquid cooled a big ass case with tons of fans for maximum cooling
I fucking mind. Get the fuck out, faggot.
>56454978
All I did was ask what it was lmao jesus
I'm still using my old gpu, but beyond that it is a good system.
Love u too bby
>Stock cooler
This is bait
>nvidia
wew lad enjoy being a cuck
You've got a marginally better GPU, that's about it as far as I can tell.
>ugh its better to save a little money and have a shitty looking PC that's just as powerful as one that looks good
Honestly. Why would you pump money into something only to have it look like shit. At least put a small amount more in to make it look as powerful as it is right?
>his motherboard only supports one physical cpu
>he bought a "gayman" case with a window and leds
fag
Horrible stock CPU cooler.
Looks like you can browse Sup Forums intensly. How many webms can you play at the same time?
2/10
back again. Forgot to rate you.
>9/10 for gaming performance
Not sure what your CPU is though (I see that it's at least a Haswell)
>6/10 for aesthetics
Get a non-stock CPU cooler. That would really tie in your build. Perhaps get pic related?
>?/10 for components
Your GPU is obviously on point, same for your motherboard. Cheapo RAM and stock CPU cooler is definitely a mark against you. Not sure what CPU or PSU you've got.
Okay? I never even said aftermarket coolers are better. I said it would look better, because the stock cooler looks like garbage. And honestly, you've spent 50 bucks more than you had to on that fancy NZXT case, there's no performance advantage to having a case window or display mounts for 2.5" drives. You obviously care enough about the looks of your computer to pay the extra $$.
For the record though, aftermarket coolers are better. Good aftermarket coolers cool much better than stock coolers and are much less noisy. As for the cost, I've used the same noctua cooler for 3 generations of CPUs. Bought it 8 years ago. When I get a new CPU, I'll still use this cooler, since it's going to be better and quieter than the next generation of stock coolers as well.
I have seen statistics to prove otherwise
>2016
>chooses AMD
May we see said statistics?
Search it up bud
>prebuilt PC
fag
Get this fucking muslim garbage out of /g
Nice 1070 :D
Thank u nvidia
>Not realizing is a workstation (a dual CPU workstation at that)
Retard
I have the same case OP (same GPU too - probably even the same CPU) has - it comes with the LEDs.
what case is OP
what cases are small like that but support full size motherboards?
>not taking into account that it's also a prebuilt dual-CPU workstation
>Not taking into account that not everyone can afford building their own custom dual-CPU workstation
>Not considering the fact that there aren't many cases that would support a dual-CPU WS motherboard
>2016
>being too poor to be able to afford a custom built dual CPU workstation
>current year
>illogical greentext
I have an open air EVGA 1070 FTW card.
I never built a mini itx before.
Am i shooting myself in the foot here with this build? Should i just hold onto my 2500k old machine?
>2016
>nvidia
>ever
Gonna buy this newegg.com
I'd get a different 1060, you're not exactly pressed for space with that case, and only one fan could get a little loud.
Also I'd go for 2x8 on the RAM.
